Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to discover about Analysis of the Extracurricular function of soccer in SMA Taman Mulia Kubu Raya Regency. The problem in this research is “How the extracurricular function of soccer in SMA Taman Mulia Kubu Raya Regency?”. Based of the problem then presened to subs problem that is how does the development function in the exreacurricular activities of soccer in SMA Taman Mulia Kubu Raya Regency, how does the social function in the exreacurricular activities of soccer in SMA Taman Mulia Kubu Raya Regency, how does the recretional function in the exreacurricular activities of soccer in SMA Taman Mulia Kubu Raya Regency. This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive method. This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive method. Techniques which are used are observation, interview, and documentation study. The analysis is presented descriptively qualitativeby using informants as much 8 people consisting of a representative of a students of school, a counselor of extracurricular soccer activities and 6 students who joined activities extracurricular soccer. The result of this study indicate that the  function extracurricular activities of soccer in SMA Taman Mulia Kubu Raya Regency is good, because the development function that has been a good journey because students are able to develop creativity and talent. Social function proved good because the students were able to develop the ability and sense of responsinility.the recreational function proved to be good because the students showed a relaxed, happy and exhilarating feeling while following the extracurricular activities of soccer. Keywords::Extracurricular, Function,Senior High School Students, Soccer

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of parents' socioeconomic status on learning motivation in class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Sejangkung. The method used is descriptive method and the form of research is a form of relationship study research. The population in this study were 259 and the sample was 51 (random) students of SMA Negeri 1 Sejangkung. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used are indirect communication techniques and data collection tools with a questionnaire. While the data analysis technique uses the percentage formula and uses SPSS version 24. Based on the results of this study the relationship of parents' socioeconomic status to learning motivation in class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Sejangkung with rcount = 0.800 is in the "High" category. While the great influence of parents 'socioeconomic status on students' learning motivation by 64% is in the "strong" category. This shows that there is a positive influence on learning motivation, the better the socioeconomic status of parents, the higher the motivation of students to learn. Keywords: Parents' Socio-Economic Status, Learning Motivation

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this thesis is The Communication Pattern Among Adolescents in the Digital Era in Serumpun Village Salatiga District. This research is using qualitative approach with descriptive method. The data collecting tools used is the observation guidelines, interview guideline and documentation study. The general research result shows that there is a shift in the comunal communication into individuals. Communication patterns that are established through digital media result in adolescents making grouped friendship because of the same goals and desires. The pattern of communication between adolescents is predominantly using a multi-way communication carried out using media that penetrates the space of time and allows youth to communicate silmutaneously and countinously. While the results of special studies indicates that:(1) the type of social media used by the adolescents to communicate in the digital era is facebook, whatsapp, instagram, line, messenger.(2) the conversation content between teenager based on the same eagerness and function such as the conversation about sport, hoby and school. (3) as for the positive effect of the use of communication media in the digital era is: facilitate the communication process, the communication also can be done anywhere at any time, cost effective. Negative effect: raises the attitude of individualism, addicted to smart phone, reduced direct interaction (face to face). Keywords : Adolescents, Communication Pattern, Digital Era.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to examine how religious tolerance among members of the Himsos FKIP Untan. What is examined in this study is how the attitude of religious tolerance among members of Himsos FKIP Untan in the form of (1) tolerance attitude respecting other religions and (2) tolerance attitude in providing opportunities for religious practices of other religions. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interview and documentation study. Data collection tools used are observation guides, interview guides and documentation tools. The steps of data analysis include data reduction, data presentation and verification. Data validity by testing the credibility includes triangulation of techniques by checking the data at the same source with different techniques. The results of the study prove that tolerance in respecting beliefs among members of Himsos is well established and tolerance in giving opportunities for other religious worship practices is also goodKeywords : Attitude, Himsos, Religious Tolerance

Abstract

 Abstract:This research aims to describe how teacher’s intervention and habituation which leads to tolerance building and tolerance character which formed after giving intervention and habituation. This research is qualitative descriptive study. This research uses observation, in depth-interview, and documentation technique. The result indicates that there are intervention and habituation from teacher of Catholic Religion and Character Education. The interventions are good advice, appeals to congratulate and visit on other’s celebration day, prohibition of humiliating others, discourse respecting other religions. Teaching interventions in the lower class are designed through emphasis of Love and Ten Commandment, correlating the subject, by giving real examples, and applying reading aloud methods. In the high class, these are designed through direct practices, such as using Contacting Book, applying heterogeneous cooperative group, tolerant assignment and democratic practice, moral practice and reflection. The habituation is practice through speech and action. The habituation processes are formed teacher’s exemplary, congratulate on other’s celebration day, saying 3 magical words “Please, Sorry and Thank You”. The lower class habituations are designed through reminding and appreciating students. In the high class, the teacher gives opportunity to blend each other, asking and delivering idea(s). The tolerance character of students are formed mutual respect, love of peace and unity, friendly, tolerance, empathize and democratic, having high social awareness and cooperate. Keywords: Character Education, Catholic Religion and Character Education, Tolerance

Abstract

AbstractThis research was aimed to find out the career women?s activities to support the economic needs of families in Sungai Bangkong Urban Village, Pontianak Kota Sub-district. The general problem of this research was ?How did career women support economic needs of families in Sungai Bangkong Urban Village, Pontianak Kota Sub-district?? The research method used was descriptive in qualitative form. The data collection techniques employed were observation, interview and documentation. The data collection tools used were observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation. The data analysis of this research was presented in descriptive qualitative form with 3 informants that is, 3 career women in Sungai Bangkong Urban Village of Pontianak Kota Sub-district. The results showed that the women worked with the intention to support the economy of families in terms of factors affecting types of jobs, work intensity, and income earned by career women in Sungai Bangkong Urban Village, Pontianak Kota Sub-district. Keywords: Analysis, Career Women, Family Economy.

Abstract

AbstractThis research started from the concerns of sociology teachers regarding the low skills of students? critical thinking. The research aims to know if sociology learning activities through discovery learning assisted with mind map done by teachers can improve critical thinking skills of class X IPS 2 students of SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR), referring to Kurt Lewin?s approach in which the action research is viewed as a cycle of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted collaboratively by the researcher and the teachers of sociology subject in three cycles, in which each cycle comprises of two times action. The result showed that on the first cycle, the students? critical thinking skills were on relatively medium achievement category with a mean score of 65,57; the second cycle indicates a higher achievement category at mean score 73,78, and on the third cycle the result improved to be relatively very high achievement category with mean score 81,57. It is concluded that there is an improvement in students? critical thinking skills through discovery learning assisted with mind map in sociology learning in class X IPS 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak.  Keywords: Critical Thinking Skills, Discovery Learning, Mind Map, Sociology Learning

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this thesis is "The Analysis of Student's Behavior Who Experienced a Broken Home Family in the Learning Process of Social Science Subject class VIIIGin SMPN 9 Pontianak". The general problem of this thesis was the behavior of student's who experienced a broken home family in SMPN9 Pontianak. The purpose of this research was to determine the behavior of students who experienced a broken home family in term of student's learning habit, student's attention in learning, and the tendency of student's learning attitude in SMPN 9 Pontianak. The approach used in this research was the qualitative approach with the descriptive method. The techniques of data collection used in this research were observation, interview and documentation. Tools of data collection used in this research were observation guides, interview guidesand notebook with archives. Techniques of data analysis used in this research were data reduction, data presentation and conclusions drawing. The analysis of this study was presented descriptively based on 5 informants consisted of one social science subject teacher initially Mrs. NB and four students who experienced a broken home family in class VIII G initially FP, N, AP and B. The result of this research indicated the study habit of students who have a broken home family was commonly late coming to school before the class began, but the students who experienced a broken home family trained to learn until they comprehended the lesson. Students who experienced a broken home family sometimes distracted their sight in the middle of the learning process of social science subject, students who experienced a broken home family were not interested in reading and writing conclusions of the lesson or underlined the important point of the lesson in the school especially during the learning process of social science subject.Keywords: Student's Learning Behavior, A Broken Home Family

Abstract

AbstractThesis title "Societys? Perception on the Social Ethics of the College Students Live in Dormitory at RT 03 Kelutahan Bansir Darat Kecamatan Pontianak Tenggara". The main problem in this research is how is societys? perception towards social ethics of the college students who live at dormitory. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive method. Technique data collection used are observation techniques, interviews, and documentation study. The results showed that: (1) Societys? appraisement towards social ethics of the college students showed that students who are sociable proven fairly with greeting and smile, interaction with society has not been good yet because interaction occurs only when there is needs (2) Forms of violation have done by the college students are coming home over time which it has to be not later than 11 pm and guest of the opposite sex visiting hours which it has to be not later than 10 pm (3) The control towards college students showed that the preventive and repressive controls done by society leader and the dorm owner towards college students is quite good because the prevention through rules and repressive reprimand in the form of warning, punishment in the form of expelling and advice in the form of calling students who violated the rules have been conducted.Keywords: Perception, Social Ethics, College students live in dormitory

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this study is "the application of the PAIKEM model in improving student learning outcomes in sociology subject in class X SMAN 6 Pontianak". This study aims to determine the implementation of the application of the PAIKEM model and determine the magnitude of the influence of the PAIKEM model in improving student learning outcomes in sociology learning in class X of SMAN 6 Pontianak. The form of the experiment used in this study was a quasi-experimental. The population in this study was class X SMAN 6 Pontianak academic year 2018/2019. The sample used was class X IPS 4 (experimental class) and class X IPS 1 (control class). The data collection tool used in this study is the learning outcomes test in the form of essay questions (pretest and posttest) and questionnaire sheets in the form of the application of the PAIKEM learning model. Analysis of learning outcomes data using the Mann Whitney U-test with a real level = 5% obtained Sig.0,000. This shows that there are significant differences in learning outcomes and student responses. The calculation of the effect size (ES) is obtained at 0.92 which belongs to the large category, which gives an effect of 51.6%. Student responses to the application of the PAIKEM model belong to the category of "very good" which is equal to 89.02%. Keywords: Application, PAIKEM Model, Learning OutcomesÂ
