Abstract

A map is one of the cartographic scientific products that is used as a guide to access locations or places. The use of information technology and computer systems in cartography can increase the value of map products to be interactive and can be accessed online via the internet. This interactive map of the Unsyiah Director Office building is the development of an interactive map product of the author with the addition of an animated pathway from the reference point to the location point. With these additions, it will be easier for visitors to access the location

Abstract

Nutmeg is a source of income for some people in South Aceh, and some types of nutmeg, like mace nutmeg, are of better quality. Mace nutmeg is also an agricultural community with great economic value and benefits for humans, as it can be processed into spices and herbs. A range of products includes nutmeg oil and medicines. The harvesting and drying of mace nutmeg, which is still considered a problem by nutmeg growers, cannot be isolated from the processing of the basic ingredients. The natural process of drying mace nutmeg involves the use of sunshine, which necessitates a considerable drying time. Therefore nutmeg farmers frequently complain of erratic weather, especially during the wet season. The constant rain can cause the mace to rot, causing the nutmeg farming community's revenue to become unstable. Methods and steps of research work starting from the study of literature, determination of design specifications, hardware design, software design, toolmaking, tool testing.Good results were reached with the dryness of the mace nutmeg, which can be adjusted, and without putting into account the weather in the drying process, which is usually done with the heat of the sun, per the results of the testing of the designed tools. The average dryness of mace nutmeg is at a temperature of 45 percent with a time of 4 hours and a capacity of 100 grams; according to the test results of the automatic mace drying machine, it produces 50 grams of dry mace.

Abstract

Captive portal networks are in great demand because users have privileged authentication in the form of usernames and passwords to enter the LAN network without having to share with other users. However, the captive portal network is difficult to implement redundant connection because it must be in the form of a ring topology and the application of a bridge network. Captive portal is a web page for the authentication process to enter the network where the authentication back end can use radius, kerberos, ldap with the AAA framework. Meanwhile, fault tolerance is a redundant connection mechanism as an alternative path provider if the main path is broken. Here there is a tiered mechanism so that fault tolerance can be implemented into the captive portal network. This study describes the process of designing a captive portal network starting from analyzing, conceptualizing and finally designing the network itself. The final result of this research is 2 pieces of redundancy connection network design to the captive portal framework.

Abstract

The Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) is an assistance in the form of cash from the government given to students whose parents are less able to finance their education, as a continuation and expansion of the targets of the Poor Student Assistance (BSM) program. KIP has a goal, namely to increase access for children aged 6 (six) to 21 (twenty-one years) to obtain educational services until they graduate from high school to support the implementation of Universal Secondary Education / Pilot Compulsory Education 12 (twelve) years, prevent students from the possibility of dropping out of school or not continuing their education due to economic difficulties. The KIP-Kuliah, formerly known as Bidikmisi, is presently in service. They may find it difficult to determine who is a qualified candidate to become a recommendation for KIP-Kuliah recipients who will be presented to the system since many variables and assessments will be passed in determining the prospective KIP-Kuliah recipients. Therefore, from this problem, a system is needed that can quickly and accurately assess the eligibility of KIP-Lecture recipients without having to sort out the files that have been collected one by one. As a result, it is deemed necessary to develop a decision-making system to address the existing issues. The steps of research that will be carried out to create a decision support system will collect criteria and sub-criteria from the assessment and then enter them into the calculation formula or method employed, namely the AHP method.

Abstract

A high school is a place that is used as a place for the learning and teaching process, so a comfortable place is needed from disturbances in the study room. The Design System for Noise Monitoring Devices as an Effort to Minimize Noise Based on the Internet of Things (IoT) is designed to create comfort in the learning and teaching process at SMAN Tapaktuan so that teachers can concentrate without disturbing the noise generated by students. This tool is controlled by nodemcu and a sound sensor as a noise detector with an appropriate output by sending notifications to the Blynk Application. How the tool works when the sound sensor detects a noise level between 30 dB to 49 dB then dfplayer will issue a warning in the form of a warning "this room is noisy" and send a notification to the blynk application with the text form "room A is noisy" if the sensor detects above 50 dB then a warning loud sound will be issued by Dfplayer in the form of sound and at the same time send notifications to the blynk application. The purpose of the tool Any noise detected by the sound sensor then dfplayer will issue a small or loud warning and send a notification to the blynk application.

Abstract

The increasing level of human mobility causes pets to be abandoned because humans have activities that cannot be left behind or work that must always be done, with this, pets, one of which is a cat, are often hungry because the caregiver is busy working and does not have time to feed the cat. This research is about designing an automatic cat feeder with a periodic monitoring system with a Nodemcu control system with two sensors, namely an Ir sensor and an Ultrasonic sensor with a telegram notification output. the working principle of the Sensors Ir 1 and 2 will detect a cat, if it hits the cat, the place for giving food and drink will open automatically while ultrasonic sensors 1 and 2 are for monitoring food and drink if food and drink do not hit the ultrasonic sensor it will enter a notification that the food and drink had run out. the conclusion of making this tool is to make it easier for cat owners to automatically feed cats.

Abstract

Security is a state in which people or things feel safe from ominous or unsettling hazards, which will then cause them to feel at ease and comfortable. There are many ways to achieve security, one of which is via utilizing and deploying technology. The use of security technology has advanced quickly in recent years, from low-tech to high-tech techniques. By using Arduino as a circuit controller to process input from a vibrating sensor and 4x4 keypad, output to a solenoid as a charity box lock, and a buzzer that serves as an alarm in case of theft, technological or automated methods can reduce charity box theft and also increase the security of charity box locks. The charity box security system tool is made to prevent the theft of charity boxes, which frequently happens in mosques. If someone tries to steal the charity box, an alarm will go off, and you need a pin that has been programmed on an Arduino Ide and stored in EEPROM to open the charity box cover, so this tool can stop charity box theft in mosques.

Abstract

The development of modern component technology makes it possible to create practical, compact, reliable, effective, and efficient equipment/instrumentation. The health sector as an essential component of life is also not spared from technological support. One significant indicator of oxygen supply in the body is oxygen saturation. Because oxygen saturation can show whether hemoglobin can bind oxygen or not. So that the lack of oxygen which is at risk of damage to essential organs in the body can be overcome. By using the max30100 sensor is a detection tool that will be used to detect oxygen levels with saturation levels, namely, normal and abnormal, and the tool is controlled by Arduino Nano as the controller of the entire circuit. With the output displayed on the Oled LCD, ten tests have been carried out. times and compared with the results using a Smart Watch with an average difference of 0.73%.
