Abstract

This research aims to find out the increase of students’ achievement in VII grade of Islamic Junior High School of Cendekia, Cianjur by using digital literacy-based learning. It was conducted in Taharah lesson. The subjects were 49 students of VII-a and VII-d including 22 males and 27 females. This Classroom Action Research was conducted within two cycles. Data collection techniques were done by test and observations. They were then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques comparing the results among data of each cycles. The results indicated an increase of students’ achievement. In the first cycle it was only in low then raise into fair, and finally in good category. The score was going up from 57,2 to 71,9 and 83,6 at last.

Abstract

Schools face the social changes quickly that was caused by the global village phenomenon. It makes schools’ strategic plans and their implementation strategies becoming important topics to be discussed. This study aimed to know how the implementation of State of Junior High School (SMP) Islam Cendekia Cianjur strategic plan during academic year 2018/2019. A school in West Java addresses religious and globally competed graduation. The research used qualitative-descriptive. Collecting data used observation, interview, and document analysis instruments. The finding showed that SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur achieved maximum result in implementing annual work plan. Almost all program objectives were realized, some even exceeded the annual targets set due to their well-organized of strategic plan and the accuracy of its implementation strategy. The collaboration of principal’s managerial and social competencies and participative leadership approach have proven effectively in embodying school annual work plan. The principal succeed in improving educators’ competencies and their working performances, as well as in collaboration with various potential parties. Abstract

Digitization of learning is one of the todays’ challenges being faced by Indonesian schools, including rural schools. This reasearch aims to implement and measure the effectiveness of computer based learning at SMP Cendikia Sukahegar, recognize its challenges, and find the appropriate computer based learning model for them. The method used is experimental research based on descriptive qualitative approach, using instruments of observation, interview, and document analysis. The results of this study show that computer based learning at SMP Cendikia Sukahegar improves their student learning outcomes. The appropriate computer based learning model is instructional game. Meanwhile, the problems faced in the implementation of computer based learning are related to human resources, facilities, and supporting policies from the principals. Keywords: Computer based learning, digitization, rural school Abstrak Digitalisasi pembelajaran merupakan salah satu tantangan yang saat ini dihadapi oleh sekolah-sekolah di Indonesia, termasuk sekolah pedesaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan dan mengukur keefektifan pembelajaran berbasis komputer di SMP Cendikia Sukahegar, mengenali tantangannya, dan menemukan model pembelajaran berbasis komputer yang sesuai untuk mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimental berdasarkan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan menggunakan instrumen observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis komputer di SMP Cendikia Sukahegar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Model pembelajaran berbasis komputer yang sesuai adalah permainan instruksional. Sedangkan permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis komputer terkait dengan sumber daya manusia, fasilitas, dan kebijakan pendukung dari kepala sekolah. Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning that conducted online during the Covid-19 pandemic had an impact on low learning outcomes. Organizing effective learning online was a challenge for Islamic Education teachers. After Islamic Education teachers learn and use Book widgets as a learning medium, the attendance and learning outcomes of students increase significantly. This study aims to determine the increase in attendance and learning outcomes of students in online Islamic Education learning specifically about fasting topic with the Book widgets learning media. The subjects in this study were 47 students of Islamic education and class VII-a and VII-e students, consisting of 22 male students and 25 female students. The classroom action research method was carried out in two cycles. Data collection techniques were carried out by writing techniques and interviews. The collected data were then analysed using descriptive analysis techniques by comparing the results between the initial data, cycle I and cycle II. The results of this study indicated a significant increase in attendance and learning outcomes of students. The attendance of students was 84% initially, to 96% in cycle I, and 100% in cycle II. The average learning outcomes of students in pre-cycle 76 became 87 in cycle I, and 96 in cycle II.
