Abstract

Multicultural diversity in Indonesia has become an amazing icon for many other countries which feel envy with the cultural richness of the archipelago. Although the Indonesian culture constantly growing, our civilization must be maintained and kept. Foreign Languages has been recognized in formal and non formal education in Indonesia. Learning and teaching foreign languages is not easy because it does not just teach vocabulary and grammar but also teaches how and when language is used, or in other words, learning the language is also learning culture. Foreign language teaching materials should contain the local culture and the culture of the target language in balanced. Because of the language would be useful if it can be used where the language is required

Abstract

Abstract. This research is quasy experiment , two group pretest - posttest design that aims to determine the effectiveness using the language laboratory learning listening skills in German language students , German Study Program, Faculty of Language and Literature, Makassar State University. The population in this study were students on the second semester, academic year 2015, German language education students, totaling 22 people , and the sample used in this study is total sample . Hypothesis testing using t- test. Analysis using t-test, tcount = 2.42 while t tabel= 2.086 t count ≥ t table (2.42 ≥ 2.086 ) . So, H0 stating that use of the language laboratory is not effective in listening skills German student education is rejected. Consequently H1 which states that the use of effective language laboratory in the listening skills of students in the education department of the German language is accepted. The results of this study can be concluded that teaching by using a language laboratory can be used as a medium of learning to improve listening skills of students in the German language.

Abstract

Abstract. This research was conducted to obtain data and information about the relationship between Selbsvertrauen and Sprechfertigkeit German Language Class XI students of SMA Negeri 8 Makassar. The variable in this study is Selbsvertrauen and the dependent variable is Sprechfertikgeit. The population in this study were all class XI of SMA Negeri 8 Makassar consisting of 3 classes, the sample in this study were students of class XI MIPA 2 at SMA Negeri 8 Makassar with a total of 35 people. The results of this study obtained the results of speaking skills and questionnaire tests. Based on the results of the study indicate that the R count is greater than the R table (0.796 <0.334). The analysis showed that there was a relation between Selbsvertrauen and Sprechfertigkeit German Language Class XI students at SMA Negeri 8 Makassar.

Abstract

Abstract. This study used a survey approach which aims to examine how the intensity of the use of local language in high school students.  Participants were high school students who were selected purposively by considering gender (50% boys and 50% girls) and the area of residence (50% suburban area and 50% rural area).  The research instrument used was in the form of 3 survey questions consisting of 1) how often to use local languages in schools, 2) how often to use local languages in the community, and 3) how often to use local languages in the family. The data collection process is carried out online using the google form platform.  The verified data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods and inferential statistics using the SPSS 26 application. Finding show that 1) students in urban areas use local languages less  than students in rural area, 2) students use more local languages in the home environment than in the school environment and social environment, 3) there is no significant difference in the use of local languages between male students and female students. It can  be concluded that gender is not a factor affecting language attitudes for the context of using local languages.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of syntactic errors in the essay descriptions of the German language of SMA NEGERI 9 Makassar students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The analytical method used is the method proposed by Ellis. The research data is in the form of descriptive essays written by students. The data source of this research is the students of class XII Mia 8 SMA Negeri 9 Makassar, amounting to 31 students. The data collection technique was carried out through a German writing test. The results of the data analysis show that the syntactic errors that appear are phrase errors, including 4 types of errors in noun phrases, 8 types of errors in pronouns, 7 types of errors in prepositional phrases, 4 types of errors in adjective phrases, and 4 types of verb phrases.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research which consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation and reflection stages. The purpose of this study was to determine the German speaking skills of class XII IIS 2 SMA Negeri 11 Makassar through the reward and punishment learning method. The subjects of this study were 34 students of class XII IIS 2. The research data consists of two types, namely quantitative and qualitative data. Qualitative data were obtained through observation sheets and quantitative data were obtained through speaking skills tests in cycles I and II. Data were analyzed using percentage techniques. The results of this study indicate that speaking skills with the percentage of scores obtained by students in the first cycle reached 65.970% and 77.352% in the second cycle increased (12%). This shows that the application of the Reward and Punishment learning method improves the speaking skills of class XII IIS 2 SMA Negeri 11 Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh data dan informasi tentang keterampilan menulis bahasa Jerman Siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi-eksperimen (non-equivalent design)) Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XII IPA SMA Negeri 3 Makassar yang terdiri dari 7 kelas yang berjumlah 320 siswa.  Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan tes keterampilan menulis paragraf bahasa Jerman siswa. Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t yang menunjukkan bahwa thitung 7,70 > ttabel 1,998 dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran imajinatif efektif dalam keterampilan menulis paragraf bahasa Jerman Siswa Kelas XII IPA SMA Negeri 3 Makassar

Abstract

This research aims to know the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the DAF web-based media learning listening skills for high school students in Makassar City. The design of instructional media uses the Thiagarajan four D (4-D) model of development stages the which consists of four items, namely define, design, develop and develop. Data collection is done through validation of learning tools, observation, student questionnaire responses. The products produced in this study were lesson plans, teaching materials, and LKPD web-based learning daf listening skills. Based on the results of the analysis of the data it was concluded that the learning media for listening to the German language based on web DAF is valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui keefektifan media pembelajaran kuartet dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa jerman siswa kelas XI IPA MAN 1 Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperimental design (eksperimental semu) dengan bentuk design non equivalent control group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MAN 1 Makassar, yang terdiri dari 4 kelas dengan jumlah keseluruhan siswa adalah 100 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran kartu kuartet efektif dalam pembelajaran. Perolehan nilai post-test siswa, pada kelas eksperimen nilai terendah yaitu 50 dan nilai tertinggi 91 dengan nilai rata-rata 69,8, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai 8 untuk nilai terendah  dan 67 untuk nilai tertinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 38,1. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan uji-t untuk melihat hasil akhir dari penelitian ini, masing-masing kelas dengan rumusyang sama. Hasilnya adalah  kelas eksperimen = 9,35  sementara  = 2,011, jadi adalah

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memeroleh data dan informasi mengenai keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jerman siswa dengan media Brettspiel.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasi-eksperimen yang pengumpulan datanya melalui tes keterampilan berbicara.Data dianalisis dengan uji-t. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 132 siswa dari tujuh kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian dipilih secara. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis Uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa thitung 6,16  ttabel  2,042 pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa media Brettspiel efektif dalam keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Makassar
