Abstract

Abstract - Diet Rice was founded in Bandung around the beginning of 2014, and since the establishment of these products are marketed as substitute products that can enhance a healthy lifestyle in the society in Indonesia. Supported by the tendency of a healthy lifestyle is emerging favored by the people, resulting in intensified competition in the healthy food products on the market. Within a year of his journeys, these products are experiencing a decrease in sales. Eventually the efforts to market products better by way of changing the packaging design. Packaging is important as assessed the process of improving the value brands as media delivery in communicating corporate identity and image of the product itself. Earlier Rice Diet did indeed have not yet found the right packaging concept for building the company's brand, to fix this problem then the steps you need to do is do some research by changing the shape of the packaging of a Rice Diet against potential consumers of this product. Through semantic differential approach, Rice Diet can direct form of packaging that is in accordance with the vision and the concept of Diet Rice itself so that it can build an effective brand. Research carried qualitative with in-depth understanding of human behavior and objects that can be observed and quantitative by sampling process through test questionnaire to find out how consumers perception of Diet Rice packaging, and for the further processed by the semantic differential with assess alternatives prototype for Diet Rice’s new packaging design. Keywords : Organic Rice Business, Packaging Design, Brand Building, Diet Rice

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang timbul karena pesatnya jumlah kendaraan bermotor di Kota Bandung. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah peningkatan pelayanan pembayaran Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor melalui layanan inovasi Samsat Keliling. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap permasalahan terkait pelaksanaan program Samsat Keliling. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah  pendekatan kualitatif dan metode yang digunakan adalah adalah metode deskriptif analisis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai Samsat Pusat, pegawai Samsat Keliling, dan masyarakat.  Hasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) pelaksanaan program Samsat Keliling di Samsat Bandung Barat Kota Bandung sudah berjalan sesuai dengan tujuannya yaitu, meningkatkan mutu pelayanan pubik khususnya pelayanan Pajaka Kendaraan Bermotor dengan rata-rata peningkatan Pendapatan Asli Daerah pada awal tahun 2017 mencapai 85%. 2) kendala yang diahadapi dalam pelaksanaan program Samsat keliling terdiri dari terbatasnya mobil Samsat keliling, kesadaran Wajib Pajak, sarana dan prasarana. 3) upaya-upaya yang dilakukan diantaranya memilih akses wilayah yang mudah dijangkau oleh masyarakat agar lebih efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

Lifestyle trends “Back to Nature” are now widely adopted by people in Indonesia, especially urban residents who register a healthy and practical lifestyle, using nature-based products, for examples fashion products. As one of the largest sub-sector of the creative industry in Indonesia, the fashion industry has the potential and great contribution in efforts to meet the basic needs of society which can directly impact the country's economy. Although lifestyle can influence trends in clothing needs, the role of the designer is needed to direct and produce a variety of clothing that is in harmony with lifestyle needs that return to nature. To overcome this problem, there is an environmentally friendly method that is currently used by various fashion brands in Indonesia and the trend is the use of natural fibre fabrics in the clothing production process. Many local brand designers respond to this lifestyle by creating clothing based on natural fibre that can be used for daily activities. This study uses a qualitative method with a business opportunity approach. This study presents the background and development of natural fibre fabrics by various fashion brands in Indonesia to become the current trend, especially in the lifestyle of “Back to Nature” for women. The biggest reason is that the adoption of more environmentally friendly methods for the Indonesian fashion industry can provide many broad benefits.

Abstract

Co-creation is a concept that gives freedom to the customer in determining the desired design but remains within the limits provided by the web, thus creating new value. The concept of co-creation will be applied in the design of outerwear clothing for women because nowadays people have a tendency to want to play a role in the desired fashion design process. The method used for this design is through observations to local retail and import retail, conducting questionnaires, and making clothing modifications based on the SCAMPER technique. The results of this design are in the form of six outerwear with three different color combinations to give customers an example of the application of co-creation. Outerwear which is designed to have product innovations in the form of modifications to the loose tide system makes it easier for customers to determine different look in one product. Keywords: Loose Tide Fashion, Co-creation, Outerwear________________________________________________________________ Co-creation merupakan sebuah konsep yang memberikan kebebasan untuk customer dalam menentukan desain yang diinginkan namun tetap dalam batasan yang disediakan oleh web, sehingga menciptakan value yang baru. Konsep co-creation ini akan diterapkan dalam perancangan busana outerwear bagi wanita dikarenakan saat ini masyarakat memiliki kecenderungan untuk ingin berperan dalam proses desain busana yang diinginkan. Metode yang dilakukan untuk perancangan ini adalah melalui observasi ke tempat retail import dan retail lokal, melakukan penyebaran kuisioner, serta melakukan modifikasi busana berdasarkan teknik SCAMPER. Hasil dari perancangan ini berupa enam buah outerwear dengan tiga kombinasi warna yang berbeda untuk memberikan contoh opsi kepada customer tentang penerapan co-creation. Outerwear yang dirancang memiliki inovasi produk berupa modifikasi dengan sistem lepas pasang sehingga memudahkan customer dalam menentukan look yang berbeda dalam satu produk.  Kata Kunci: Busana Lepas Pasang, Co-creation, Outerwear

Abstract

This article focuses on the volcanic eruptions in Priangan, West Java, in the first half of the nineteenth century. Even though volcanic eruptions are natural occurrences, their impacts on human lives are viewed as historical events. While such disasters caused damage and misfortune to those directly affected, some people may also use them as a source of inspiration to seek knowledge. Moreover, eruptions occurring in an area were, to a certain extent, considered as a threat to the colonial authorities. Using contemporary news, official reports, and diaries, this research analyzes the relationship between natural events and its surrounding social and political landscapes. Such relationships are examined primarily to show that the eruptions might inspire the development of science while becoming a setting for human tragedy. It also examines how the colonial government responded to these catastrophic events within the framework of colonial political economy. Finally, this article argues that scientists and colonial administrators actually took several actions to ensure the continuity of colonialism through volcanic science and to maintain the availability of economic resources. In conclusion, the disasters that occurred in the colonial period did not only precipitate more scientific explorations but also provided another perspective on the dynamics of colonialism in the Dutch East-Indies.
