Abstract

AbstractClassroom management is part of the classroom activities that determine the quality of education, and plays an important role in developing the ability of classroom teachers at the elementary school level. Classroom management demands classroom teachers to do more upbringing in the classroom. The nurturing efforts are contained in the skills component of the classroom teacher associated with the creation and maintenance of optimal learning conditions, and skills related to optimal learning condition control. While Catholic ethics is the basic foundation of the character in Catholic Religion taught in Catholic schools as part of the character formation of learners, are as follows: (1) love, (2) honesty, (3) discipline, (4) responsibility (5) hard-work, (6) huminity, (7) wisdom, (8) anti-dishonesty, (9) happiness, (10) peace/harmony, (11) goodness, (12) compassion, (13) charity, and (14) justice. Class-based Catholic ethics management at Bruder Singkawang Private Elementary School wants the quality of education to start from a professional classroom management based on Catholic ethics which then the Catholic ethics values are developed through integration into all subjects, integration into everyday activities by all citizens of the school, integration through routine habits such as maintaining the cleanliness of the school environment and words of motivation, integration into school programs, integration through extracurricular activities, and parents-teachers coordination.Keywords: Classroom Management, Catholic Ethics.
