Abstract

CSR is a company or business commitment to contribute into sustainable economic development which focus and bring attention to the economic, social and enviromental aspect. CSR disclosure will affect the investor decision making. Thus, it is essential to find out factors that will affect CSR disclosure. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of structural ownership consist of managerial and institutional ownership, the effect of financial ratios consist of leverage and profitability to CSR disclosures. The sample of this research comes from 27 manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014-2016. Determination of the sample in this study is using purposive sampling. The data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicated that the variable of institutional ownership, managerial ownership, leverage and profitability have no effect on CSR disclosures.

Abstract

Communication science is very important in supporting the activities of the world community. Nowadays one must be able to speak English to compete. Some students stated that the absorption and understanding of English vocabulary on technology materials and sentence structure were limited. This has an impact on students' low English skills. The purpose of this study is to analyze the absorption of English learning materials in E-learning. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, Documentation Studies. The types and sources of data in this study are primary and secondary data. The technique used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The result of the research is that after learning English is done by E-learning, it is easier for students to understand English learning because E-learning can allow students to learn anywhere and students can understand English learning materials easily. This research implies that the use of E-learning in learning English will improve students' understanding of learning so that it impacts increasing student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Distress in financial is a declined financial conditions before bankruptcy or liquidation. Analysis in financial ratio could be use to predict whether companies are facing financial difficuties. The purpose of this study is to examine the relation of financial ratios in predicting financial distress. The sample was 98 manufacturing companies listed for the period of 2016-2018 at Indonesia Stock Exchange. Purposive sampling method to determined sample and analyzed with logistic regression. The results found Current Ratio, Total Asset Turnover and Sales growth variables had no effect while Debt To Total Asset Ratio positively affect and Return on assets has a negative effect in predicting financial distress.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis paper discusses the design and development of the coahcing log tenant system of INBIS STIKI Indonesia. Coaching log is an accompaniment record recorded in a hard copy file that contains data on tenants, coaches, mentoring records, assignments from coaches to tenants, and results of previous assignments given by coaches to tenants. This hard copy coaching log file cannot be used effectively especially in seeing the development of tenants from time to time or the progress reports of tenants. To solve this problem in this study a web-based log coaching system has been developed which has tenant data management features, data coaches, making mentoring schedules, providing timetables for mentors, coaching logs by coaches, coaching logs by tenants. The system design model used in this study uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) model, system development using the laravel framework, and testing using the blackbox testing method. Based on the results of testing all the features that are owned by this log coaching system can function properly. And the system developed can help INBIS STIKI Indonesia in managing the process of assisting tenants.Keywords: Information System, Coaching Log, Business Incubator. Coaching log merupakan catatan pendampingan yang direkam dalam sebuah file hard copy yang berisi tentang data tenan, coach, catatan pendampingan, tugas dari coach kepada tenan, serta hasil tugas sebelumnya yang diberikan oleh coach kepada tenan. File hard copy coaching log ini belum bisa digunakan secara efektif khususnya dalam melihat perkembangan tenan dari waktu ke waktu atau laporan kemajuan tenan. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut pada penelitian ini telah dikembangan sistem coaching log berbasis web yang memiliki fitur pengelolaan data tenan, data coach, pembuatan jadwal pendampingan, pemberian jadwal pendampingan kepada tenan, coaching log oleh coach, coaching log oleh tenan. Model perancangan sistem yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Unified Modeling Language (UML), pengembangan sistem menggunakan framework laravel, dan pengujian menggunakan metode blackbox testing. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian semua fitur yang dimiliki oleh sistem coaching log ini secara fungsional bisa berjalan dengan baik. Dan sistem yang dikembangkan bisa membantu INBIS STIKI Indonesia dalam mengelola proses pendampingan tenan.Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi, Coaching Log, Inkubator Bisnis, Tenan, Pendamping

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melatih para pelaku usaha kecil untuk mempergunakan dan menguasai pembukuan sederhana untuk solusi sistem pencatatan keuangan dan kinerja usahanya serta penggunaan teknologi informasi. Untuk itu diselenggarakan pelatihan tentang pembukuan sederhana bagi UMKM binaan Rumah Kreatif Denpasar dengan metode pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah pemaparan materi secara daring dan pendampingan yakni praktek langsung pembuatan laporan keuangan sederhana. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi terkait keterbatasan pengetahuan dalam penyusunan laporan keuangan usaha sesuai dengan bidang usaha yang digelutinya. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan diperoleh temuan belum pelaku UMKM Rumah Kreatif Denpasar belum teratur dalam melakukan pencatatan pembukuan dan masih bercampurnya dana pribadi dengan dana usaha. Metode yang dipergunakan adalah metode tatap muka terbatas dan pertemuan online melalui media Zoom Meeting. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan diperoleh 70%pelaku usaha kecil terkecil mulai memahami pembuatan laporan keuangan usahanya secara sederhana baik secara manual maupun menggunakan Ms. Ofiice Excel. Dengan pemberian pelatihan pembukuan sederhana ini para pelaku UMKM Rumah Kreatif Denpasar lebih menyadari pentingnya pembukuan keuangan dan ke depannya pelaku UMKM supaya lebih konsisten berkesinambungan.

Abstract

COMPREHENSIVE MANAGEMENT TRAINING FOR THE CULINARY BUSINESS OF THE BALI FOOD TRUCK COMMUNITY. Nowadays, the development of micro, small and medium enterprises in Bali is very rapid. More and more people are trying various business opportunities that exist to improve their welfare. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, many culinary business actors have sprung up as a solution to survive in an increasingly difficult economic situation. To run well, sometimes there are many problems faced in the development of these businesses. Based on the results of interviews and field observations of culinary business actors, especially in the form of food truck displays, it turns out that not all small business actors/executors use and master management comprehensively for business performance solutions and the use of information technology. And for the training on comprehensive management of the culinary business for 20 members of the Bali Food Truck Community, which is packaged in several materials, namely management, accounting, taxation and a touch of information technology in general, it can be understood well.

Abstract

Along with the development of information technology, news media has also developed by presenting information online Along with the rapid development of online news, the spread of fake news information (hoaxes) is also increasing rapidly and widely. Hoax news is often spread intentionally for various purposes. Generally, hoax news aims to direct the reader's perception to believe in a bad perception of an event, character or even a company. The motivation is to invite readers to believe something that is not true with the aim of benefiting the news disseminator is something dangerous. This research aims to detect English-language hoaxes by applying the Support vector machine (SVM) algorithm. In this study, the data used are two data sources, namely English news datasets from Kaggle and English news taken from BBC. The results of this study show that the application of the SVM algorithm turns out to get good performance because the model is able to classify hoax news with an accuracy of 99.4% on Kaggle data while on the BBC news dataset the model gets an accuracy of 98.9%. This research also shows that the SVM method is proven to have good generalization properties. Where it is able to identify test data that is completely different from the training data.
