Abstract

Kondisi di era digital bagi beberapa ibu rumah tangga yang tidak bekerja di luar rumah, memanfaatkan Teknologi Informasi Komunikasi (TIK) berguna sebagai media dalam mengakses informasi untuk memperkaya khasanah pengetahuan.  Informasi yang diakses lebih pada hal-hal yang disukai, dalam hal ini informasi mengenai cara pembuatan aneka macam kue, baik yang berupa video tutorial atau hanya sekedar berupa tulisan resep pembuatan kue.  Rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi dan keinginan besar untuk mencoba mempraktikkan dalam membuat kue memacu kreativitas dalam berkreasi membuat kue. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memanfaatkan TIK sebagai media mencari informasi, terkait dengan kemandirian ibu rumah tangga dalam mengembangkan skills yang dirasakan merupakan pasion bagi mereka. Skills yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah berkreasi atau mengembangkan kreativitas membuat kue. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pengambilan data melalui wawancara dan observasi langsung dengan informan pada ibu rumah tangga Majlis Ta’lim An-nisa di RT 01 RW 10 Kelurahan Pabuaran Mekar Cibinong pada Agustus 2018. . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan TIK yang dilakukan ibu rumah tangga dengan skill membuat kue, mampu mengembangkan daya kreativitas dalam berkreasi membuat kue. Media informasi yang sering diakses dalam pengembangan aneka kreasi kue adalah youtube, blog, facebook dan instagram. Setelah banyak mengakses informasi melalui TIK beberapa ibu rumah tangga memiliki usaha kreatif mandiri dalam berkreasi membuat kue, yang akhirnya mampu menerima pesanan aneka macam kue dalam partai besar. Kesimpulannya pemanfaatan media informasi teknologi komunikasi secara positif bagi ibu rumah tangga sangat membantu dalam mengembangkan skill, sehingga berkembang menjadi usaha mandiri yang dapat membantu perekonomian keluarga.Kata kunci : Era digital, Ibu Rumah Tangga, kemandirian, media informasi, pemanfaatan

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze life survival strategy, social networks, and social capital measured from the networks, faith, and norms of Minangkabau Woman Street Vendor during the COVID-19 pandemic in the tourism destination area of West Sumatra. This research uses a mixed method. This research had a post-positivistic paradigm with the research locations in the tourist destination areas such as Padang City, Bukittinggi City, Sawahlunto City, and Tanah Datar Regency. The results showed that women street vendors performed life survival in tourism destination areas by strengthening social capital and human capital for a better economy.

Abstract

Women, who were members of Economic Empowerment of Women Headed Family (WHF) Group and married in marital status, still tend to have lower economic status. There was a social reality that roles and functions of husbands and wives in many communities had shifted, especially of WHF Group members in Batang District, Central Java Province. The crucial condition causing the mentioned shifting was economic factors. Formerly, wives were only supporting bread winners, however, because of family economic needs, women switched their roles into breadwinners. Wives also took action as dominant decision makers in their households, although society had not fully recognized woman’s participation in development communication as head of family. The newest finding in this research was that married women, whose husbands had been fired, had already been included into WHF Program. There was 45 percent of WHF Group members, who still got married to husbands with no permanent jobs, and 15 percent belonged to those whose husbands had got fired, and five percent was jobless. The results of FGD supported the finding that there were some married women that had shifted from supporting breadwinners into main breadwinners.

Abstract

Since its first inception during the 1990s, electronic commerce (e-commerce) has revolutionized costumers buying behavior and caused the costumers to shift from traditional brick-and-mortar stores into online stores. In Indonesia, e-commerce market has enjoyed rapid growth around 60 to 70 percent annually since 2014. On the other hand, the Covid – 19 pandemic is still ravaging Indonesia. This pandemic caused concerns among costumers in Indonesia, due to the higher risk of Covid – 19 transmission during buying activities in traditional brick-and-mortar stores. Thus, buying from online stores became more convenient and safer option for customers. The purpose of this research is to investigate about customers online buying behavior during the Covid – 19 pandemic. This research utilized quantitative and descriptive approach, with 200 respondents participated during the survey. The findings of this research are that the majority of respondents might have shifted from offline buying to online buying, albeit not significantly. On the other hand, the majority of respondents chose to not spend a large amount of money for online buying activities. The majority of respondents also bought fashion and beauty care products from online platforms, and because of Covid – 19 pandemic, a large number of respondents also bought healhcare equipment from online platforms. The implication of this research is that it would be better if traditional brick-and-mortar retailers start transitioning to e-commerce, since customers might permanently shift to online buying, even after the Covid – 19 pandemic has been contained.

Abstract

AbstractThis article wants to explain that the Coronavirus Disease or COVID-19 pandemic disrupts the structure of family life. Since the government suppressed physical distancing, it indirectly allowed almost 24 hours to be at home. The COVID-19 pandemic greatly tested family resilience. Positively, the impact of independent quarantine gives time to get to know each other deeply among family members. On the other hand, the more often family members meet increases boredom, which then causes friction to occur. This paper writes how the family communication management strategy when Pandemic COVID-19 to create a harmonious and prosperous family, conduct interpersonal communication, responsibility for the environment and family, intensity and direction of communication with a harmonious atmosphere, healthy parenting even in a physical atmosphere distancing or guarding the distance according to government recommendations. Keywords: family communication management, COVID-19 pandemic, family resilience AbstrakArtikel ini ingin menjelaskan bahwa pandemik Coronavirus Disease atau COVID-19 mendistrupsi tatanan kehidupan keluarga. Sejak pemerintah menekannya physical distancing atau penjagaan jarak secara tidak langsung memberikan waktu nyaris 24 jam berada di rumah. Pandemi COVID-19 sangat menguji ketahanan keluarga. Secara positif, dampak karantina mandiri memberi waktu untuk saling mengenal secara mendalam antar anggota keluarga. Disisi lain, semakin sering anggota keluarga bertemu meningkatkan rasa jenuh yang kemudian menimbulkan gesekan terjadi. Tulisan ini menulis bagaimana strategi manajemen komunikasi keluarga saat Pandemi COVID-19 sehingga tercipta keluarga yang harmonis dan sejahtera, melakukan komunikasi antar pribadi, tanggung jawab pada lingkungan dan keluarga, intensitas dan arah komunikasi dengan atmosfir yang harmonis, pola asuh hidup sehat walaupun dalam suasana physical distancing atau penjagaan jarak sesuai anjuran pemerintah. Kata kunci: manajemen komunikasi keluarga, pandemik COVID-19, ketahanan keluarga

Abstract

Abstract. The female head of the family has a dual role, that is, a housewife and breadwinner to meet family needs. The study aims to analyze the effect of female head of household characteristics and group characteristics on participatory communication of groups and economic independence of women household heads. Respondents were Pekka groups in twelve villages in Batang City, Central Java, as many as 229 heads of households aged 22-74 years. The characteristics measured include 5 dimensions namely: age, education, marital status, number of dependents, and income. Data were analyzed descriptively and multiple linear regression testing was carried out. The results showed that there was a direct positive effect on the characteristics of female household heads in participatory communication and the economic independence of female household heads. and there is a direct negative effect on group characteristics on participatory communication and the economic independence of the female household headKeywords: regulation effect, female head of a family, Pekka group, economic independence Abstrak.Kepala keluarga perempuan memiliki peran ganda, yaitu, seorang ibu rumah tangga dan pencari nafkah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik kepala rumah tangga perempuan dan karakteristik kelompok terhadap komunikasi partisipatif kelompok dan kemandirian ekonomi kepala rumah tangga perempuan. Responden adalah kelompok Pekka di dua belas desa di Kota Batang, Jawa Tengah, sebanyak 229 kepala keluarga berusia 22-74 tahun. Karakteristik yang diukur meliputi 5 dimensi yaitu: usia, pendidikan, status perkawinan, jumlah tanggungan, dan pendapatan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan dilakukan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif langsung pada karakteristik kepala rumah tangga perempuan dalam komunikasi partisipatif dan kemandirian ekonomi kepala rumah tangga perempuan. Selain itu, ada efek negatif langsung pada karakteristik kelompok pada komunikasi partisipatif dan kemandirian ekonomi kepala rumah tangga perempuanKata kunci: efek regulasi, kepala keluarga wanita, kelompok Pekka, kemandirian ekonomi Аннотация.Женщина как глава семьи играет двойную роль, то есть роль домохозяйки и кормильца семьи. Цель исследования - проанализировать влияние характеристики женщин как главы семьи и групповой характеристики на групповое совместное общение и экономическую независимость женщин как главы семьи. Респондентой была группа Pekka (Полномочия семей с женщинами как главами семьи) в двенадцати деревнях в городе Батанг, в Центральной Яве, 229 глав семьи в возрасте 22-74 лет. Измеренные характеристики включают 5 параметров, а именно: возраст, образование, семейное положение, количество иждивенцев и доход. Данные были проанализированы описательно, и было проведено множественное линейное регрессионное тестирование. Результаты показали, что непосредственное положительное влияние оказали характеристики женщин как глава семьи в совместном общении и экономической независимости. Кроме того, существует прямое негативное влияние на групповые характеристики на совместное общение и экономическую независимость женщин как глав семьи.Ключевые слова: Эффект регулирования, Женщина как глава семьи, Группа Pekka, Экономическая независимость.

Abstract

The role of human capital and social capital is very needed in the development of farmer institutions. It is intended that existing farmer institutions can function optimally. This paper is a literature study based on data and related journals. In carrying out farmer institutional management, human capital can act as planners, organizers, implementers of activities and supervisors. In addition to human capital, social capital is also very important and needed in the development of farmer institutions. The role of social capital is to maintain cohesiveness, cooperation and carry out the tradition of deliberation (the element of trust), exchange of information, the tradition of “gotong royong” and the tradition of social gathering (the element of reciprocity), carry out common goals and have an element of volunteerism (participation in the network and do it according to the rules. norm).

Abstract

The study was conducted in Batang Regency, Central Java. Still high levels of family poverty in this area, especially the condition of the family head women and tend to have non-permanent work, make the authors interested in doing this in-property research. Research methods using quantitative mixed methods are strengthened by qualitative analysis. The sampling technique uses stratified random sampling, using the Slovin formula to determine the magnitude of the number of respondents. The study population numbered 535, with a total sample of research were 229 female heads of households. The results showed that indicators of group roles and companion roles had a very large contribution in encouraging the characteristics of women's household heads to be more empowered. Through a companion role, making a family of female heads more actively communicating. Through the development of public speaking, establishing a critical culture in the group, thus growing self-confidence, forming a empowered, independent, and potential self. Important research is conducted to see the extent to which the women's head program has walked the trunk, creating many tough women. Research novelty was obtained based on a combination of group communication attributed to economic empowerment.

Abstract

During the early Covid-19 pandemic, led by controversial presidential figure Donald Trump, the US seemed to be overwhelmed by this microbial creature, proving to be one of the countries with the most Covid-19. Besides health impacts, there are many multi-effects afterward, such as economic, social, political, and so on, that must be faced after this Covid-19 outbreak. Moreover, the US will hold a presidential election in November 2020. This challenge makes Trump must focus on how to complete Covid-19 while maintaining electability as President. One of the methods adopted is by forming narration through Twitter. Donald Trump is an active Twitter user who often tweets about his stance. Therefore, this study wants to analyze Trump's Twitter tweet content based on propaganda based on six propaganda classifications based on Holly Thayer's Theory. The quantitative content analysis method is the systematic and replicable examination of symbols of communication. The object of research in this article is Twitter's @realDonaldTrump tweet. We analyzed Donald Trump's Twitter content in the period 1 March 2020-27 May 2020 with a systematic random sample method. Our result shows that Trump constructs a message to support his policy and maintain his electability.
