<![CDATA[Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kompetensi pedagogik guru biologi terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas X IPA di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Karang Tengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Karang Tengah. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah nonprobality sampling yang berupa teknik sampling jenuh karena sampel penelitian di ambil dari seluruh total populasi. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner (angket) rating scale. Instrument penelitian diuji dengan uji validasi ahli (expert judgement). Hasil data penelitian kemudian akan dianalisis dengan teknik korelasi person product moment dan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa tingkat kompetensi pedagogik guru biologi dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X berada padsda tingkat sedang. Sedangkan hasil analisis hubungan kompetensi pedagogik guru biologi dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X IPA memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan nilai sig (0,000) < nilai α (0,05). Selain itu, diliat dari nilai r hubungan kedua variabel memperoleh r hitung (0,877) >r tabel (0,02201). Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa hubungan kompetensi pedagogik guru biologi terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas X IPA di SMA Muhammadiyah sangat kuat. Kata Kunci: “Kompetensi Pedagogikâ€, “Motivasi Belajar Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the pedagogic competence of biology teachers to the learning motivation of class X science students at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Karang Tengah. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The population of this study were all students of class X IPA at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Karang Tengah. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling in the form of a saturated sampling technique because the research sample is taken from the entire total population. The data collection technique used is a rating scale questionnaire. The research instrument was tested with expert judgment test. The results of the research data will then be analyzed using the person product moment correlation technique and the SPSS program. The results of the study showed that the level of pedagogic competence of biology teachers and the learning motivation of class X students was at a moderate level. While the results of the analysis of the relationship between the pedagogic competence of biology teachers and the learning motivation of class X science students have a significant relationship with the value of sig (0.000) < value (0.05). The relationship between the two variables obtained r arithmetic (0.877) > r table (0.02201). These results indicate that the relationship between the pedagogic competence of biology teachers and the learning motivation of class X science students at SMA Muhammadiyah is very strong.
