The purpose of this study was to determine the level of understanding of media literacy Unnes PGSD students , particularly on understanding the character -based literacy education and the impact of literacy for students . This study was conducted di PGSD Unnes Semarang in the second half of the school year 2013/2014 on subjects Indonesian Language Skills and compose SD . The results showed an increased understanding of literacy and its impact on students. It can facts with productivity generated by the students during the lectures. Understanding students on media literacy shown by the average scores obtained in the early stages 64 with both categories . The increase in scores occurred after the implementation of the action with an average score of 84 was very good category . The conclusions of this research is the understanding of media literacy can affect the development of the character of the students in the lecture .

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang penerapan metode Task-Based Activity (TBA) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa PGSD dalam mata kuliah bahasa Indonesia yang berbasis konservasi nilai-nilai karakter (kesantunan berbahasa dan kearifan lokal), di jurusan PGSD, FIP, UNNES. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa PGSD dalam berbicara bahasa Indonesia dengan menerapkan task-based activity berbasis konservasi nilai-nilai karakter, dan (2) untuk mendeskripsikan respon mahasiswa PGSD dalam perkuliahan Ã¢â‚¬Å“berbicaraÃ¢â‚¬Â bahasa Indonesia dengan diterapkannya task-based activity berbasis konservasi nilai-nilai karakter. Penelitian ini merupakan pengkajian empirik yang dapat digolongkan ke jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitiannya yaitu dosen dan mahasiswa PGSD semester 3 rombel 1 (B) yang berjumlah 42 orang. Berdasarkan skor hasil tes mahasiswa, terlihat adanya suatu peningkatan yang bagus dari fase identifikasi masalah sampai pada siklus 2. Fase identifikasi masalah, nilai rerata mahasiswa secara klasikal adalah 4,5 yang berada pada kategori kurang. Dari nilai ini, hanya 6 (23%) orang yang mendapatkan skor lebih besar daripada atau sama dengan 6, sedangkan sisanya (77%) mendapatkan skor kurang daripada 5. Ssiklus 1 rerata keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa PGSD UNNES adalah 6,92; dari nilai tersebut diketahui bahwa ke-26 mahasiswa (100%) mahasiswa mendapatkan skor sama dengan atau lebih besar dari 6. Siklus 3 skor rerata keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa meningkat menjadi adalah 7,54. Berdasarkan nilai tersebut diketahui bahwa 100% siswa mendapatkan skor sama dengan atau lebih besar dari 6

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan (1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran melalui Penerapan Manajemen Kelas Beginning Of Effective Teaching Mata Kuliah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (2) peningkatkan pemahaman Mata Kuliah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dengan penerapan Manajemen Kelas Beginning Of Effective Teaching.Penelitian ini merupakan campuran antara penelitian kulaitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian kualitatif dipilih untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pendekatan Manajemen Kelas Beginning Of Effective Teaching. Penelitian kuantitatif yang berupa pre eksperimental design yaitu one –group pretest-postest design, untuk melihat pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan pendekatan Manajemen Kelas Beginning Of Effective TeachingHasil penelitiannya (1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Manajemen Beginning Of Effective Teaching dilaksanakan dengan langkah-langkah pembelajaran (a) opening (pembuka), (b) ice breaking (menumbuhkan semangat), (c) presentation (mengajarkan materi pelajaran), (d) exercises and correction (latihan dan koreksi), (e) students talk time (waktu berbicara peserta didik) (f). explanation conclusions and closing (kesimpulan penjelasan dan penutupan). (2) penerapan pendekatan Manajemen Beginning Of Effective Teaching dapat meningkatkan pemahaman bagi mahasiswa PGSD UNNES, ditunjukkan dengan peningktan hasil belajar dari pre test (sebelum pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan Manajemen Beginning Of Effective Teaching ) mencapai rata-rata 35,0 menjadi hasil belajar dari post test (sesudah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Manajemen Beginning Of Effective Teaching) mencapai rata-rata 74,6.

One of the studies that revealed the lack of students' reading ability, in this case the third grade students of SD/MI, is a Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS) study, which is an international study onchildren's world-wide reading sponsorship sponsored by The International Association for the EvaluationAchievement. The study results show that the average Indonesian child is ranked fourth from bottom of 45countries in the world. This makes the researchers trying to explain how the level of understanding of literacy inelementary school students and has the potential to improve the ability to read writing writing, especially in SDLabschool Kecamatan Gajahmungkur. The researcher uses a literary workshop strategy model to improvestudents' reading ability to write SD Labschool Kecamatan Gajahmungkur. The method used in this research isquasi-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design. This research technique using 1) Test and 2)nontes (questionnaire, observation, and strategy of literary workshop). This research was conducted in Grade 3of SD Labschool Kecamatan Gajahmungkur. The results of this study are the initial reading ability to write thebeginning of 40% to 93.33% and unfinished from 60% to 6.67%, which means reading the beginning writingwith RW for elementary students is effective to improve understanding of reading ability.

Based on pre-research in class III SDN Cangkiran 01 it was found that there were no suitable learning media and learning models. So it was been an impact on the low learning outcomes to understand the suggestion sentence. This study aims to develop learning media, assess the feasibility and effectiveness of ritatoon media using POE model class III SDN Cangkiran 01. The method which had been used in this research was Sugiyono Research and Development (R&D) which consists of potential and problem stages, data collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, product trials, product revisions, and usage trials. The subjects of this study were grade III students at SDN Cangkiran 01. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis techniques were using product feasibility, initial and final data analysis (t-test and N-gain test). The results of the ritatoon media feasibility test that is from media experts get a percentage of 93% and the assessment of material experts get a percentage of 93%. Ritatoon media effectively used in accordance with the results of the t-test showed t arithmetic> t table (12,741> 2,021), then Ho was rejected and the pretest and posttest gain the result which was 0.62 with criteria that support the effectiveness of instructional media . The results of the questionnaire responses of teachers and students showed a very positive answer that makes learning media was more effective in its users.

So a researcher wants to develop a media booklet. This study aims to develop a media booklet, studies the feasibility and effectiveness of the media booklet on the material express personal poetry in class IV SDN Tambangan 01 Semarang City. The method wich had been used in this research was a Sugiyono Research and Development (R&D) which consists of (1) potential and problem stages, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, (6) product trials, (7) product revisions, (8) trials usage. Based on the result of interview and observation it was known that the Indonesian language learning outcomes on essay writing the topic were low because the teachers still used the lecture method in learning process. This research aimed to test the effectiveness of the picture and picture learning model on essay writing skills of the students in Mijen District Elementary School, Semarang City. This research used quantitative method with the type of experimental research. This research design was quasi experimental design in the form of nonequivalent pretest-posttest design. The sample technique used was cluster random sampling in the number of 57 students. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, documentation, and performance tests. The results showed that the experimental class posttest results were higher than the control class and included in good categories. That means the picture and picture learning model was effective to be used on essay writing skills topic. The n-gain test results showed that the experimental class obtained a higher increase in the amount of 0.32 in the medium category and the control class was in the amount of 0.12 in the low category. The conclusion of this research is a picture and picture learning model was effective to be used on essay writing skills topic in Mijen District Elementary School, Semarang City. This type of research is experiment research that aims to test the effectiveness of the quantum teaching model by assisted rainbow board to result of mathematics studies outcomes of 4th grade students of elementary school of the Ikan Mas Cluster, North Semarang. This research used quantitative method with experiment design with nonequivalent control group design. The sample technique was cluster random sampling of 128 participantes. Data collection used test, observation and documentation. The hypothesis test result showed that tcountËƒttabel (2.128Ëƒ 2.037) which mean quantum teaching model assisted by rainbow boardis was more effective to result of social studies outcomes of 4th grade students. The experiment class n-gain test result 0.734 belong to high criterion while control class n-gaint test result 0.481 belong to medium criterion
