Abstract

The puerperium is the period that begins after the birth of the placenta and ends when the uterine uterus returns to its state before pregnancy, the puerperium for about 6 weeks (Astutik, 2015). Lack of knowledge of how to treat perineal wounds will lead to infections, complications, and the death of postpartum mothers. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge description of Postpartum mothers about Perineum Wound Care during the puerperium at Lembanna Public Health Center, Kajang Sub-district, Bulukumba Regency in 2017. This study used a descriptive study and was carried out at the Lembanna Health Center, Kajang Sub-district, Bulukumba District in June 2017 with a sample of 30 respondents of Postpartum mothers who used a sampling technique, namely Total Sampling. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. From the research that has been done, it is obtained that from 30 respondents, those who have a good category of knowledge are 10 respondents (33.3%), who have enough knowledge with categories of 8 respondents (26.7%) and those who have knowledge in the poor category as many as 12 respondents (40.0%). It can be concluded that the description of Postpartum Mother Knowledge about Perineal Wound Care during the Postpartum Period in the working area of ​​Lembanna Health Center, Kajang District, Bulukumba Regency 2017. Of the 30 respondents in general who were well knowledgeable (33.3%), sufficient (26.7%), less (40.0%).

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) or Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an acute disease, is endemic and can periodically cause Extraordinary Events (KLB).Based on data obtained from the Medical Record at the Bontobangun Community Health Center, Rilau Ale District, Bulukumba Regency, in 2014 there were 237 births and 17 babies were found to have dengue cases, and in 2015 there were 220 babies and 25 babies were found. dengue fever cases, and in January - March 2016 as many as 5 babies.The general objective of this study was to find out the incidence of dengue fever in infants at the Bontobangun Community Health Center, Rilau Ale District, Bulukumba Regency in 2016. The research design used in this study was a descriptive survey, the time and location of the study were carried out at the Bontobangun Public Health Center in Rilau Ale District, Bulukumba Regency in May. until June 2016. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling or saturated sampling. The population in the study was infants with dengue cases in Bontobangun Public Health Center, Rilau Ale Subdistrict, Bulukumba Regency from 2015 as many as 25 people. and samples in this study were 25 infants who had dengue cases in Bontobangun Public Health Center, Rilau Ale District, Bulukumba Regency in 2015. The research instrument used in this study was a document from the medical record of the Bontobangun Public Health Center and data collection techniques in this study based on secondary data and processed manually. From the research that has been done, the results show that the highest incidence of dengue fever in infants is dengue fever with a mild criterion of 12 infants (48%) and the lowest in dengue fever with severe criteria of 3 infants (12,%) from 25 total baby samples. The incidence of dengue fever with inpatient criteria is 13 babies (52%) and criteria with outpatient care are 12 infants (48%) of 25 total baby samples.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Childbirth is the process of spending conception results (fetus and Uri) that has enough months (37 - 42 weeks) or can live outside the womb through the birth canal, then followed by the removal of the placenta and fetal membranes (Retnani, 2013). In childbirth mothers usually experience various difficulties, one of the complications is preeclampsia. Preeclampsia is a vasospastic disease, which involves many systems and is characterized by hemoconcentration, hypertension, and proteinuria. Obese women before pregnancy have a greater risk of suffering from preeclampsia than normal women. Excessive weight gain during pregnancy can also increase the risk of preeclampsia in pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the Body Mass Index and the incidence of Preeclampsia in women giving birth in Bulukumba District in 2017. This study uses Historical Cohort design. The sample in the study was selected with a Cluster Sampling method of 332 people. Data collection methods are carried out using Secondary data. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate analysis using Chi-Square statistical tests. The results showed that P-value = 0,000 (P <0,05) it was proven that the Body Mass Index was more significantly related to the incidence of Preeclampsia. It is expected that the results of this study can be used as a means of learning in an effort to broaden students' horizons regarding the incidence of preeclampsia in women who are related to the Body Mass Index and can be input for the District / City in following up on these problems by proclaiming programs in the city government, so they can reduce the incidence of Preeclampsia.

Abstract

Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) is a program which in principle is not a mother who breastfeeds their babies but babies who suckle and can save 22% of babies who die before one month of age. But in the implementation is still low, this is caused by several factors including lack of mother's knowledge, lack of support from family and helpers labor that does not facilitate. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors relating to the implementation of Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD). This research uses the approach of a cross-sectional study. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling with a sample of 42 people. Results from the study show that there is a relationship between knowledge, family support, and helpers labor with the implementation of Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD).

Abstract

The development of health promotion media in disease prevention management has been carried out. This study aims to determine whether the leaflet medium influences the mother's knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test group design. Using 50 samples selected by purposive sampling. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon signed-rank test statistical test the average respondent's knowledge for Exclusive Asi and IMD before the intervention was given with a leaflet was 3.90 while after being given the intervention it increased by 2.84 points to reach 6, 74 in the post-test results with a P value of 0,000 where <0.05. For knowledge about ASI, the pretest results obtained were 5.86 and 9.60 posttest results. This shows that after the intervention of respondents' knowledge about breastfeeding increased by 3.47 points with a P-value of 0,000 which is more than 0.05. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that a very effective leaflet is used as a health promotion medium for breastfeeding.

Abstract

The development of health promotion media in the management of disease prevention has been carried out. The limited use of commonly used health promotion media (leaflets, flipcharts, brochures, etc) and the emergence of the development of new internet-based information media provide hope for the development of further health promotion. This study aims to determine whether the Whatsapp medium influences the knowledge of mothers regarding exclusive breastfeeding. This study used a quasi-experimental design with group pre-test and post-test design. Using 50 samples selected by purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, the average knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding before being given intervention is 3.44, this average knowledge increased by 3.88 points, reaching 7.32 with a p-value of 0,000 after being intervened using the Whatsapp medium. Knowledge about breastfeeding before being given intervention with Whatsapp medium was 5.10 and increased by 5.3 points after being given an intervention so that it reached 10.40 with a P-value of 0,000 or <of 0.05. the conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that WhatsApp social media is very effectively used as a health promotion media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan Historical Cohort Studies, dengan tujuan melihat pada buku kohor ibu mengenai riwayat Umur, Paritas, IMT dan lingkungan tempat tinggal pada ibu yang mengalami Pre eklamsia pada Ibu Hamil di Kabupaten Bulukumba. Adapun tahapan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Mengambil data ibu hamil baik yang mengalami preeklamisia maupun yang normal di masing-masing puskesmas yang terdiri dari 20 puskesmas. Menentukan sampel dengan metode pengambilan sampel cluster sampling yang kemudian akan ditarik sampel dari masing-masing Puskesmas secara simple random. Menganalisis data yang telah diperoleh dengan menggunakan SPPS. Hasil penelitian dari 332 sampel ditemukan 259 (78,1 %) yang normal dan 73 (21,9 %) yang mengalami preeklamsia dengan hasil uji chi square menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan proporsi secara bermakna atau dengan kata lain umur, indeks massa tubuh (IMT), paritas dan lingkungan pemukiman ibu hamil, mempengaruhi kejadian pre eklamsia. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi sumber data bagi peneliti selanjutnya serta dapat menjadi bahan masukan dan rekomendasi bagi Pemerintah Kabupaten Bulukumba dalam membuat kebijakan yang lebih terarah dan berfokus pada penanggulangan preeklamsia pada ibu hamil.

Abstract

ASI Eksklusif adalah pemberian Air susu ibu kepada bayinya sejak lahir hingga usia 6 bulan. Untuk memaksimalkan gerakan 1000 hari pertama kehidupan salah satunya adalah dengan memberikan ASI Eksklusif. Gold moment ini tidak pernah mungkin bisa diulang sehingga sangat disayangkan jika ASI Eksklusif ini tidak terlaksana karena mengingat begitu banyak maknfaat baik untuk Ibu maupun untuk Bayi. Namun pada kenyataannya masih banyak bayi yang tidak mendapatkan ASI Eksklusif. Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai pentingnya ASI Eksklusif. Dengan pengetahuan yang baik maka cakupan ASI Eksklusif akan meningkat serta memaksimalkan gerakan 1000 HPK. Hal ini akan memberi banyak manfaat baik bagi ibu, bayi, keluarga serta bangsa dan negara. Hasil kegiatan penyuluhan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil dan pendamping tentang pengertian ASI Eksklusif, cara melakukan asi eksklusif bagi ibu yang bekerja, tips untuk memperbanyak ASI. Kesimpulan hasil pendidikan Kesehatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil dan pendamping tentang ASI Eksklusif
