Abstract

lyze the influence of external factors consisting of family support and Business capital to the students decision-making at the Business Faculty of the Institut Bisnis dan Informatika Stikom Surabaya. The research was conducted from 42 students were taken by the purposive sampling method which were active students who own businesses or who are interested in entrepreneurship in the future, survey method used for data gathering with instrument questionnaire and analyzed by SPSSversion 21 to examine the research hypothesis. The result of multiple regression analysis showed that the variable family role and business capital is predicted to increase the student interest in entrepreneurship therefore the stated hypothesis 1 were accepted, but as partially the role of family able to increase the interest in entrepreneurship of the student, although that business capital not necessarily increase the interest of the students to entrepreneurship so the second hypothesis was rejected..

Abstract

UMKM menjadi salah satu penggerak roda ekonomi di daerah maupun di Indonesia, salah satunya adalah UMKM Roti Gres yang dibangun sejak tahun 1998. UMKM sebagai alternatif warga negara Indonesia untuk memperoleh pekerjaan. Dengan menciptakan usaha sendiri dapat mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dan menghasilkan keuntungan pribadi dan dapat memanfaatkan sumber daya yang ada sehingga keberlangsungan hidup usaha kecil dapat terus berkembang. Strategi pemasaran dibutuhkan untuk mendapatkan konsumen yang royal dan dapat memasarkan produknya secara maksimal bila strategi pemasaran yang dipahami secara baik oleh pelaku usaha. Bila pelaku usaha tidak memahami strategi pemasaran dan penyebaran produk, maka produk yang  tidak terdistribusi dengan baik, dapat mempengaruhi keuntungan yang diperoleh dan juga mempengaruhi besarnya biaya yang telah dikeluarkan oleh pemilik usaha. Masalah lainnya muncul adalah kekurang pemahamannya pemilik usaha dalam menentukan harga pokok produksi sehingga harga jual yang disebarkan kepada konsumen tidak berdasarkan komponen biaya yang timbul dalam produksi. UMKM tidak melakukan pencatatan keuangan yang baik dalam operasional UMKM. Pencatatan pembelian dan penjualan sangat diperlukan, untuk dapat mengetahui pengelolaan  keuangan dalam melakukan aktivitas operasonal usaha. Oleh karena itu tujuan jangka pendek yang diperlukan dapat mendampingi UMKM dan memonitoring serta mengevaluasi strategi pemasaran yang ada dan manajemen keuangan roti gres, sehingga dalam waktu yang singkat dapat membantu mengurai kendala yang dihadapi oleh pemilik usaha.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine how the influence of work-family conflict (WFC), which consists of work interfere conflict (WIF) and family interfere conflict (FIW) factors on organizational commitment through the mediation of job satisfaction and work motivation on women entrepreneurs in Surabaya.  The data collection technique in this study is a survey method using a questionnaire instrument filled out by respondents.  The population in this study were all female entrepreneurs in the city of Surabaya.  The number of samples in this study was 310 people.  In this study, the data analysis method used was Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 2.0 software.  The results of the research are expected that WIF and FIW negatively affect entrepreneurial commitment through mediating job satisfaction and work motivation.

Abstract

This examination intends to decide: (1) The degree of self-adequacy of undergraduate management study programs in Surabaya, (2) The degree of enterprising expectations of undergraduate management study programs in Surabaya, (3) The impact of self-viability on undergraduate management study programs in Surabaya. The number of population in this examination is the undergraduate management study programs in Surabaya. The testing system utilizes Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling and acquired an example of 167 undergraduate management study programs in Surabaya. The instrument preliminary utilized master judgment and proceeded with preliminaries on 30 undergraduate management study programs in Surabaya. Abstract

This study aims to find success factors for succession in family-based MSMEs in MSMEs in Surabaya, Indonesia, where Surabaya is a metropolitan city that allows entrepreneurs to develop and be sustainable for the next generation of family businesses. The research method used is factor analysis which is an analysis technique that forms the latent variables that have not been determined before the analysis, the results of anilisation will find any factors that influence the success of succession in MSMEs. Sample in this study amounted to 100 MSMEs of family businesses that could be met in Surabaya or incidental sampling, while respondents in this study were second generation family business owners. The method of data collection is a survey with a questionnaire instrument that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used is the Principal Component Analysis Factor Analysis with SPSS software. The results of this study found that six factors that determine the success of succession in MSMEs in the city of Surabaya are succession preparation procedures, successor characteristics, readiness of previous generations, communication in the succession process, relationships between family members, and introduction to the business environment. This research is expected to provide references on the sustainability of family business to the next generation in the city of Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship education and self-awareness variables on entrepreneurial interest in students in the city of Surabaya. The data analysis technique used is the SEM-PLS analysis through the Warp PLS 6.0 program. Data collection techniques by conducting surveys through a questionnaire distributed to respondents by purposive sampling. The population in this study were all students in the city of Surabaya who were taking and who had passed an entrepreneurship course, so the sample determined in this study were 100 students in the city of Surabaya who were making and who had passed an entrepreneurship course with active status. This research is classified as quantitative research. This study provides findings that the variables of entrepreneurship education and self-awareness have a significant and positive effect on entrepreneurial interest. Also, entrepreneurship education variables affect the interest in entrepreneurship through self-awareness.

Abstract

This study examines the causal relationship between endorser's credibility, attitudes towards brands, brand credibility, attitude towards advertising and purchase intention of the smartfren mobile card adopt the celebrity endorsement strategy. Meanwhile, attitudes towards advertising were tested as second-order constructs of the three proposed models. Smartfren recently used Atta Halilintar and Tiara Idol as celebrity endorsers of brand products in every ad serving. Examine whether have a celebrity that the public likes for supporting advertising will improve brand attitude, brand credibility, attitude towards fish, and intention to buy smartfren products. Methodology design conceptual model approach developed based on existing literature. The models are validated through a quantitative approach, analyzed using regression analysis with SEM. Technique sampling in this study using nonprobability sampling with using a snowball sampling approach. This research is a development of Previous research that tested the variables of endorser credibility, attitudes towards the product, brand credibility against purchase intentions.
