Abstract

Piezoelectric utilization as a generator is an effort to obtain electrical energy that refers to the concept of energy harvesting referring the development of piezoelectric as a generator that converts the pressure or vibration generated from steps into electrical energy that can be used on low-power electronic devices. Because the use of piezoelectric as a generator allows the use in charging low voltage, a larger resource is required in different series. Based on the problem, an energy harvesting device and a voltage amplifier are created to increase the voltage of the pizoelectric output. An arduino microcontroller is used to control the energy harvesting device and voltage booster. It is required approximately 10 steps to charge four AA 1.2 Volt batteries and 80 steps to charge two 12 volt batteries respectively.

Abstract

Voltage instability is considered one of the primary sources of insecurity in power systems. Voltage instability is the phenomenon in which the voltage on the receiver's side is dropping far below the normal value and does not return even after establishing a voltage recovery mechanism, or continue to oscillate due to lack of attenuation. In this study, there will be a voltage stability analysis on the power system in several phases by conducting a power flow analysis, static voltage stability analysis using continuous power flow method, and dynamic voltage stability analysis using the time-domain analysis. The power system tested on this research is the IEEE 6 bus system from Wood Wollenberg, with the software used for the simulation, which is PSAT. The results show that voltage stability analysis using Continuous Power Flow and Time Domain Analysis can provide a more comprehensive overview of a power system stability level.  The highest decrease in voltage with a value of 1.5% appears in Bus 5 which is also suffering the lowest stability level. The system has a load margin (λ) value of 1.6130 a clearing time of under 0.4 seconds

Abstract

The disinfection robot is a virus-sterilizing robot that uses a nonholonomic robot model. Route planning algorithms are needed to allow disinfection robots to sterilize rooms in unknown areas and perform the task while navigating using a potential field algorithm. There is a problem applying the algorithm to nonholonomic robots: avoiding obstacles. The proposed route planning algorithm has been transformed into a potential force used to plan the path of disinfection robots in static and dynamic environments and environments with static obstacles. A potential field algorithm is used. There are some issues when the potential force algorithm is applied to nonholonomic disinfection robots in the area. Like any other robot, it takes a long time to avoid static obstacles. Therefore, this paper proposed a potential force algorithm that allows a robot to move towards a target point while avoiding static obstacles. The algorithm showed that a modified potential field algorithm with potential force could be applied to differential-driven robots for path planning. The disinfection robot could avoid obstacles with a faster response using this algorithm.

Abstract

With the potential of low water head energy and relatively small water discharge then it takes a low round generator to be applied to the potential of existing energy. The development of Permanent Magnet Generator (PMG), being an alternative considering the pole construction of the rotor is relatively simple compared to conventional generators, so it is technically required a more number of rotor poles in the effort to lower the speed The nominal dial generator. The purpose of this research is to analyze the 1-phase axial generator performance with varied resistive loads and inductive loads. This research has 4 stages of research: 1). Study literature.  2). Carried out testing tools. 3). Measurement of data retrieval.  4). Data analysis. From this research obtained results from the tools and measurements of the data retrieval of the performance of axial generator 1 phase with inductive and resistive load Vaiasi. Load mounted 15 watts, voltage 35.10, current 0.80, RPM 2550 when load 75 Waat, Voltage 11.50, current 1.54, RPM 2220. From these results can be concluded axial generator 1 phase currents also get bigger but voltage and rpm decreases.

Abstract

Two models of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithm have been developed for monthly rainfall prediction, namely the Backpropagation Neural Network (BPNN) and Radial Basis Function Neural Network (RBFNN). A total data of 238 months (1994-2013) was used as the input data, in which 190 data were used as training data and 48 data used as testing data. Rainfall data has been tested using architecture BPNN with various learning rates. In addition, the rainfall data has been tested using the RBFNN architecture with maximum number of neurons K = 200, and various error goals. Statistical analysis has been conducted to calculate R, MSE, MBE, and MAE to verify the result. The study showed that RBFNN architecture with error goal of 0.001 gives the best result with a value of MSE = 0.00072 and R = 0.98 for the learning process, and MSE = 0.00092 and R = 0.86 for the testing process. Thus, the RBFNN can be set as the best model for monthly rainfall prediction.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenyebaran Covid-19 dapat diminimalisir dengan bebeberapa cara diantaranya penyemprotan antiseptik. Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan robot yang berguna meminimalisir penyebaran Covid-19 dengan sistem kontrol otomatis menggunakan Arduino Uno R3 serta panel surya yang dikoneksikan dengan sistem IoT (Internet Of Things). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian yang terdiri dari empat tahapan: 1). Mendesain (merancang) alat, 2). Tahapan pembuatan alat, 3). Tahapan ujicoba alat, 4) Tahapan analisis alat. Ketika ada benda yang berada pada titik atau jarak tertentu maka sensor ultrasonik akan mendeteksinya dan akan mengirimkan sinyal ke mikrokontroler selanjutnya robot akan bekerja kembali seuai perintah dari android. Hasil pengujian saat ada obstacle dengan nilai v= 11,40 Volt di dapat nilai acuan pengukuran dan nilai hasil pengkuruan memiliki nilai rentang error tertinggi pada saat nilai acuan 55 cm dan nilai hasil pengukuran 52 cm. Pengujian RPM pada roda kiri posisi (maju) nilai tertinggi sebesar 40,0 RPM dan roda kanan 39,7 RPM.Kata kunci: Arduino, robot, android, IoT, Covid-19, panel surya ABSTRACTThe spread of Covid-19 can be minimized in several ways, including spraying antiseptics. The purpose of this research is to produce a robot that is useful for minimizing the spread of Covid-19 with an automatic control system using Arduino Uno R3 and solar panels that are connected to the IoT (Internet Of Things) system. This study uses a research method consisting of four stages: 1). Designing (designing) tools, 2). Stages of making tools, 3). Stages of testing tools, 4) Stages of tool analysis. When there is an object that is at a certain point or distance, the ultrasonic sensor will detect it and will send a signal to the microcontroller then the robot will work again according to the command from the android. The test results when there is an obstacle with a value of v = 11.40 Volts the measurement reference value is obtained and the measurement result value has the highest error range value when the reference value is 55 cm and the measurement value is 52 cm. RPM testing on the left wheel position (forward) the highest value of 40.0 RPM and the right wheel 39.7 RPM.Keywords: Arduino, robot, android, IoT, Covid-19, solar panels

Abstract

Abstract------ Aerator is a tool to help shrimp farmers to drain air or increase the value of oxygen so that more oxygen will enter the water to help grow the shrimp. Aerator consists of several supporting components namely AC motor, accumulator, inverter, impeller and frame. This aerator is designed using solar cells as an energy source. In the results of testing the solar cell supplying 5.7 amperes of current with a voltage of 17.5 volts, the accumulator works on a voltage of 12v / 70Ah, with charging current from the solar cell and accumulator charger 5.7 amperes with a charging time of approximately 12.2 hours, maximum calculated inverter power is 500 watts

Abstract

Abstrak: Upaya meningkatkan minat baca dan pemenuhan bahan bacaan sudah seharusnya menjadi agenda utama dalam usaha mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Pembuataan taman bacaan di PAUD Islam Terpadu Mush’ab Bin Umair bertujuan meningkatkan minat baca siswa PAUD mulai usia dini. Rintisan Taman Bacaan ini menjadi salah satu cara upaya dalam Menambah ilmu pengetahuan informasi untuk siswa. Target dari pembuatan taman bacaan ini khususnya siswa PAUD Islam Terpadu Mush’ab Bin Umair dan masyarakat sekitar PAUD. Tahapan yang pertama yang dilakukan adalah rapat koordinasi dan survey lokasi pengabdian. Tahap kedua pelaksanaan program pengabdian pengadaan perlengkapan untuk pembuatan taman bacaan. Tahap ketiga pelaksanaan pembuatan taman bacaan. Tahap keempat evaluasi dan monitoring program taman bacaan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan ini terlihat meningkatnya daya baca serta antusias siswa PAUD dan masyarakat sekitar PAUD.Abstract: Efforts to increase reading interest and fulfillment of reading materials should be the main agenda in an effort to educate the nation's life. The development of a reading garden at the PAUD Islam Terpadu Mush'ab Bin Umair aims to increase the reading interest of PAUD students from an early age. This Reading Garden stub is one of the ways to increase information science for students. The target of making this reading garden is especially the students of the Integrated Islamic PAUD Mush'ab Bin Umair and the community around PAUD. The first stage that was carried out was a coordination meeting and a service location survey. The second stage of the implementation of the service program is to procure equipment for making reading parks. The third stage is the making of a reading garden. The fourth stage is the evaluation and monitoring of the reading program. Based on the results of this activity, there was an increase in reading power and enthusiasm for PAUD students and the community around PAUD.

Abstract

Abstrak: Merebaknya pandemi COVID-19 membuat pergeseran aktifitas masyarakat dari semula berkegiatan di luar rumah dan secara tatap muka menjadi kegiatan berbasis rumah dan dilakukan secara daring. Salah satu pergeseran aktifitas dimaksud adalah  kegiatan KBM di sekolah. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini agar para guru di SIT Mushab bin Umair memiliki kemampuan tambahan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar secara daring, yaitu mampu membuat video dengan menggunakan metode tangkap layar. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dimulai dari sosialisasi kegiatan, yang kedua pelaksaan pelatihan di sekolah dan secara daring, yang ketiga tahapan evaluasi kegiatan. Penggunaan media video pembelajaran merupakan salah satu upaya untuk menunjang KBM daring ini. Pada kegiatan ini, diperkenalkan cara membuat video pembelajaran metode tangkap layar, dimana guru dapat merekam penjelasan bahan ajar yang telah tersimpan di PC, Kehadiran guru di kelas dalam memberikan penjelasan dapat digantikan dalam bentuk video.  Dari sisi siswa video yang dibuat oleh gurunya sendiri akan lebih terasa nyaman ditonton, karena siswa telah mengenal sosok yang memberikan penjelasan di video, dibandingkan menonton video pembelajaran yang dibuat orang lain. Pelatihan pembuatan video pembelajaran ini dilaksanakan di SIT Mushab bin Umair. Diharapkan dengan adanya kegiatan pelatihan ini para guru akan lebih siap menghadapi kegiatan KBM  daring selama masa pandemi COVID-19 maupun pasca pandemi.Kata Kunci: COVID 19; Metode Pembelajaran; Daring; KBM.Abstract: The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has shifted community activities from activities outside the home and face-to-face to home-based activities and carried out online. One of the shifts in activities referred to is the teaching and learning activities in schools. The purpose of this service is so that the teachers at SIT Mushab bin Umair have additional abilities in online teaching and learning activities, namely being able to make videos using the screen capture method. The method of implementing this activity starts from the socialization of the activities, the second is the implementation of training in schools and online, the third is the activity evaluation stage. The use of instructional video media is one of the efforts to support this online teaching and learning activities. In this activity, it was introduced how to make learning videos for the screen capture method, where the teacher could record explanations of teaching materials that had been stored on the PC. From the student's point of view, videos made by the teacher themselves will feel more comfortable watching, because students already know the figure who provides explanations on the video, compared to watching learning videos made by other people. The training for making learning videos was held at SIT Mushab bin Umair. It is hoped that with this training activity teachers will be better prepared to face online teaching and learning activities during the COVID-19 pandemic and post-pandemic

Abstract

The application of Solar Power Plant (PLTS) technology to utilize the available solar energy potential is the right solution in reducing dependence on PLN energy providers. However, some PLTS are not equipped with current and voltage monitoring tools, including the PLTS at the LKC Dompet Duaffa clinic in Palembang which is not equipped with current and voltage monitoring tools. When the inverter works, the battery should be separated from the inverter, this is intended to prevent the battery from over-discharge because the output power of the inverter when on grid will work at its maximum Therefore, developing a current and voltage monitoring system using the Internet of Things (IoT) so that it can be monitored remotely and will regulate the charging and discharging mechanism of the battery in the PLTS configuration, so that the continuity of inverter operation can be maintained in supplying loads.
