Abstract

Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan penyakit metabolik yang ditandai dengan hiperglikemia dan sering dijumpai dengan kelainan metabolisme lipid. Metabolisme lipid ditandai dengan peningkatan maupun penurunan fraksi lipid dalam plasma. Kelainan fraksi lipid yang utama adalah kenaikan kadar kolesterol total, kolesterol LDL, kadar Trigliserida serta penurunan kadar kolesterol HDL. Ada banyak tanaman herba di Indonesia yang bersifat antioksidan yang dapat menjadi obat antidiabetes. Herba ciplukan adalah salah satu tanaman obat di Indonesia yang telah terbukti secara empiris sebagai antidiabetes. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak ciplukan (Physalis angulata L.) terhadap profil lipid tikus jantan galur Sprague dawley diberi suntikan streptozotocin dan lipopolysaccharide. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen murni (true experiments design) dengan rancangan penelitian Posttest Only Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 ekor tikus jantan Sprague dawley diberi suntikan streptozotocin dan lipopolysaccharide. Pemberian herba Ciplukan dengan berbagai variasi dosis (5, 10, 20 mg/kg BB) selama 21 hari. Pada hari ke-22 pengambilan sampel darah untuk pengujian kadar profil lipid. Data dianalisis dengan uji Anova dan Bonferroni. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa kadar profil lipid pada kelompok perlakuan lebih baik dari kontrol. Kadar trigliserida pada kelompok perlakuan lebih rendah dari kontrol. Kadar LDL pada kelompok perlakuan lebih rendah dari kelompok kontrol. Kadar HDL pada kelompok perlakuan lebih tinggi dari kontrol. Kadar kolesterol pada kelompok perlakuan lebih rendah dari kontrol. Ada pengaruh pemberian ekstrak Ciplukan terhadap profil lipid.Kata Kunci :  Diabetes mellitus, herba ciplukan, profil lipid, Sprague dawley, streptozotocin, lipopolysaccharide.

Abstract

The main problem of the population in Indonesia is the large population with a fairly high population growth rate of 1.49% per year, so it is necessary to increase the Family Planning program. This research is expected to be useful as a learning material in adding knowledge about postpartum Family Planning and the factors that influence it, so that postpartum mothers get consideration for participating in using postpartum contraceptives. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence mothers in using postpartum contraceptives. This research method was quantitative with case control design. The study population was all puerperal mothers in 2021 with quota sampling techniques in the work area of Kokap I Public Health Center, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. The subjects of this study were 33 mothers who used postpartum contraceptives and 33 mothers who didn’t use postpartum contraceptives. The results showed p<0.05 are parity, motivation and husband support had an influence on postpartum contraceptives use. Multivariate analysis of logistic regression showed motivation (OR=4,825), parity (OR=3,638) and husband support (OR=2,407). The motivation variable is the variable that most affects the use of postpartum contraceptives. Factors that influence mothers in using postpartum contraceptives are motivation, parity, and husband support. The biggest influence factor is motivation.
