Abstract

ABSTRAK Pembuatan soal yang baik dan benar menjadi sayarat utama dalam menunjang kompetensi profesional pedagogik seorang dosen. Pembuatan soal merupakan bagian dari penilaian yang bertujuan untuk mengukur kompetensi minimal capaian yang diperoleh peserta didik setelah melaksanakan pembelajaran. Penerapan penilaian High Order Thinking Skills (HOTs) menjadi landasan pada sebuah penilaian dengan kemampuan pada ranah kognitif menganalisis, mensintesis dan mengevaluasi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah melakukan  pembinaan dosen melalui bimbingan teknis ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional Dosen Poltekkes Negeri Tanjung Karang mengenai bentuk penilaian konvensional dan otentik berbasis High Order Thingking Skills. Metode pembinaan bimtek yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah menerapkan strategi kontekstual, yaitu mengaitkan antara teori dengan praktik yang disampaikan  dengan metode praktik terbimbing yaitu sistim pengajaran yang berorientasi pada pemecahan masalah yang dihadapi dosen program studi Teknologi Laboratorium Medis, Program Sarjana Terapan sebanyak 20 orang. Kegiatan bimtek memberikan wawasan dan peningkatan pemaham dosen mengenai Penyusunan kisi-kisi dan analisis soal HOTs. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman peserta bernilai positif mengalami peningkatan dengan rataan skor N-gain sebesar 79 (dalang katagori tinggi). Kajian utama materi pembinaan yang memiliki tingkat pemahaman paling rendah adalah membuatan kisi soal dengan tingkatan kognitif C4, C5 dan C6. Dengan demikian, kegiatan bimbingan teknis dikatagorikan baik dengan berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman peserta secara menyeluruh baik secara teori maupun praktik kerja.Kata Kunci: HOTs; kompetensi pedagogik; pengembangan soal; penilaian.Increasing Pedagogic Competence through Question Forming Activities based on High Order Thingking Skills and Their Analysis for Lecturers of the State Polytechnic of Tanjung Karang ABSTRACTMaking good and correct from a questions becomes the main consideration in supporting the pedagogical professional competence of a lecturer. The making of questions is part of the assessment which aims to measure the minimum competency of the achievements obtained by students after accomplishing the learning. The application of High Order Thinking Skills (HOTs) assessments forms the basis of an assessment with the ability in the cognitive domain to analyze, synthesize and evaluate. The purpose of this activity was to provide guidance to lecturers through technical guidance is to improve the professional competence of Tanjung Karang State Polytechnic Lecturers regarding conventional and authentic assessment forms based on High Order Thingking Skills. The technical guidance method used in this activity are applying contextual strategies, namely linking theory with practice delivered with guided practice methods, namely teaching systems oriented to solving problems faced by lecturers of Medical Laboratory Technology Study Program, Applied Bachelor Program as many as 20 people. The bimtek activity provided insight and increased understanding of lecturers regarding the compilation of the grid and analysis of HOTs questions.The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in the understanding of positive-valued participants that had increased with an average N-gain score of 79 (high category). The main study of coaching material that has the lowest level of understanding is to make a grid of questions with cognitive levels C4, C5 and C6. Therefore, the technical guidance activities are categorized as good by successfully increasing participants' overall understanding both in theory and work practice.Keywords: HOTs; pedagogical competence; problem development; assessment.

Abstract

Oral communication skills and cognitive learning outcomes are indicators of learning achievement. This research aimed to analyze students' oral communication skills and cognitive learning outcomes through the implementation of practicum-based TSTS. This research employed the quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The samples were determined using the purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the practicum-based TSTS learning model contributed to students' oral communication skills with excellent categories. Teaching and learning activities using the practicum-based TSTS affected students' cognitive learning outcomes (Sig. 0.838 0.05). Thus, this research showed that the implementation of the practicum-based TSTS learning model on the Plantae topic can train students’ oral communication skills and affect their cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Spodoptera litura is folifagus agricultural pest with a tendency of resistance towards chemistry compound. This becomes a reason in the efforts to overcome it. The use of botanical material becomes one of the alternatives in controlling its population. The plant of Mirabilis jalapa has the active biopesticide compound that becomes its alternative prevention. This plant has the potential chemistry compound as biopesticide which works toward weakening immunity that is ended by the death of S. litura.  This research aims to analyze the existence of lectin protein as an indicator of immunity reaction’s activation Spodoptera litura after exposing biopesticide M. jalapa. Lectin test was conducted by using spot-test hemagglutination assay (HA) then was seen its speed forming of titer. The result of research shows that lectin was on the part of hemolimf S. litura supernatant. The result test shows that on the concentration 0.2% binding of lectin, carbohydrate and erythrocyte cells of vertebrate formed faster. The speed of titer forming was influenced by the number of hemosit. This is caused by immulectin receptors were on the cell’s surface. Therefore, exposing M. jalapa can induce lectin activation which functioned as the recognizing receptor of strange object which directly bound with carbohydrate related to the reaction of body immunity.Key words: biopesticide Mirabilis jalapa, lectin, immunity system, Spodoptera litura.

Abstract

The study aims to describe an implementation study of outdoor learning based science process skills based on a bio-literacy perspective. The method used is quantitative analysis to see the influence of implementation of science process skills, while to reveal the effect of each indicator of each predictor used qualitative descriptive analysis. The samples in this study were two groups of biology teacher candidates taken by cluster random sampling techniques. The research instrument is a science process skills test with data analysis techniques using Anacova. The results concluded simultaneously there was an influence on the implementation of the science process-based outdoor learning skills from the perspective of bio-literacy at a level of significance 0.05. To measure the ability of bio-literation, it is not only needed instruments at the level of conceptual understanding but instruments that can assess learning with scientific methods and practices. Practically science process skills can be an effort in mapping the domain of biological literacy.

Abstract

Kelurahan Madyopuro merupakan salah satu kelurahan di Kecamatan Kedungkandang Kota Malang letaknya sangat strategis dengan sumber potensi yang dimiliki yaitu: Central Business (Pusat Perdagangan), sebagai kota mahasiswa, produksi dari hasil kreatifitas home industri berupa kue basah dan makanan ringan lainnya dan usia produktif mendominasi populasi, ketersediaan tenaga kerja yang besar. Salah satu wilayah yang berdekatan dengan pusat kegiatan masyarakat adalah wilayah Rukun Warga (RW) 15. Berdasarkan observasi dan analisis situasi dapat disampaikan bahwa rata-rata per KK di RW 15 di Kelurahan Madyopuro ini setiap hari menghasilkan tidak kurang dari 1kg sampah organik dan lebih dari 1kg sampah anorganik. Dengan demikian, dari RW 15 ini per hari tidak kurang dari 125kg sampah organik dan 185kg sampah anorganik per hari. Dengan demikian perlu ada usaha untuk mengelola sampah ini agar lebih berguna terutama untuk menjadikan kampong sehat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran yang tinggi dari peserta selama kegiatan berlangsung dan tingkat pemahaman yang tinggi pula selama proses pelatihan dan pendampingan mengacu pada survey yang dilakukan setelah kegiatan berlangsung. Saran untuk lanjutan kegiatan pelatihan PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH DOMESTIK MENUJU KAMPUNG SEHAT Di RW 15 KELURAHAN MADYOPURO KOTA MALANG sebagai upaya untuk menuju kampung sehat adalah penambahan jumlah komposter di setiap RT (minimal setiap RT ada 10 – 15 komposter sehingga mampu mengolah kompos secara menyeluruh produk rumah tangga (per RT rata-rata memiliki jumlah KK 20 hingga 30 KK), pendampingan composting hingga produktif bahkan sampai strategi pengemasan dan pemasaran dan inisiasi Bank Sampah sebagai dampak dari pemilahan limbah domestic yang sudah diolah dengan composting ini

Abstract

This study aims to find out the level of the materials breadth and depth, and misconceptions in the human circulatory system material in science textbooks for SMP class VIII with basic competencies in the 2013 curriculum. This reseacrh use 4 textbooks as a sample that selected by purposive sampling technique. This research is a simple descriptive research. Data collection is done by documentation technique. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical techniques using the percentage formula and described by category level. The results showed that the level of materials breadth in the four textbooks was classified as "very appropriate". The level of misconceptions in the four textbooks is classified as "very low". In book A, 2 misconceptions were found, in book B, C and D, there were no misconceptions. The conclusion of this research, in the four textbooks the level of material breadth is "very appropriate", the level of depth of material is "diverse", and the level of misconception of material is "very low".Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat keluasan, kedalaman, dan miskonsepsi materi sistem peredaran darah manusia pada buku teks IPA SMP kelas VIII dengan kompetensi dasar kurikulum 2013. Sampel penelitian adalah 4 buku teks yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif sederhana. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik statistik deskriptif menggunakan rumus persentase dan dideskripsikan berdasarkan tingkat kategori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat keluasan materi sistem peredaran darah manusia pada keempat buku teks tergolong “sangat sesuai”. Tingkat miskonsepsi materi sistem peredaran darah manusia keempat buku teks tergolong “sangat rendah”. Pada buku A ditemukan 2 miskonsepsi, buku B, C dan D tidak ditemukan miskonsepsi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini, pada keempat buku teks tingkat keluasan materi “sangat sesuai”, tingkat kedalaman materi “beragam”, dan tingkat miskonsepsi materi “sangat rendah”.Kata kunci: buku teks, keluasan materi, kedalaman materi, miskonsepsi DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jbt.v10i1.23869

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of discovery learning models on collaboration skills. Samples consisting of two classes, class VII A as the experimental class and VII C as the control class selected by purposive sampling technique. Data on student collaboration skills were obtained from the observation sheets on student collaboration skills assessment which were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the indicator of collaboration skills that had the highest percentage were collaboration skills with very good criteria (81.25 ± 0.61) while the lowest percentage of indicators of collaboration skills among students was communication (62.5 ± 1.45) with criteria good. The average value of students' collaboration skills in the experimental class (72.64 ± 5.31) is higher than in the control class (62.71 ± 4.96). So, it can be concluded that the discovery learning model assisted by drawing worksheets influences the students' collaboration skills.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi. Sampel penelitian yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 32 peserta didik danVII C sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 32 peserta didik yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik diambil dengan menggunakan lembar observasi penilaian keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indikator keterampilan kolaborasi yang memiliki presentase tertinggi yaitu keterampilan kemampuan kerjasama dengan kriteria sangat baik (81,25  ± 0,61) sedangkan presentase indikator keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik yang terendah adalah komunikasi (62,5 ± 1,45) dengan kriteria baik.  Nilai rata-rata keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik kelasekperimen (72,64 ± 5,31) lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol (62,71 ± 4,96). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik. Kata kunci: discovery learning, keterampilan kolaborasi, lingkungan

Abstract

Zerumbone is an ingredient from Zingiber zerumbet which was found in previous studies to have activity as an anti-bacterial one. This docking molecular simulation uses the TDP test ligand as the target protein. The molecular purpose of this docking is to find out how the interactions between compounds and target proteins. All ligands obtained by using the softwind used are pubchem, pharmapper, swiss target prediction, superpred, uniprot, discovery, pyMOL and pyRx. The results obtained are the distance of interactions between protein ligands in 2D structures and 3D structures for interactions between protein ligands. Zerumbone  merupakan  suatu  kandungan  dari  Zingiber  zerumbet  yang ditemukan  pada penelitian sebelumnya memiliki aktivitas sebagai salah satu anti-bakteri. Simulasi molekular docking ini menggunakan ligan uji TDP sebagai protein target. Tujuan molekular docking ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana interaksi antara senyawa dan protein targetnya. Semua ligan didapat dengan menggunakan softwer yang digunakan adalah pubchem, pharmapper, swiss target prediction, superpred, uniprot, discovery, pyMOL dan pyRx. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah jarak interaksi antara ligan-protein dalam struktur 2D dan struktur 3D untuk interaksi antara ligan-protein. Kata kunci: anti bakteri, docking, protein TDP, Zerumbone

Abstract

Pertanyaan merupakan hasil kegiatan berpikir yang perlu dibudayakan pada proses pembelajaran, karena pertanyaan dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa.Selain itu pertanyaan dapat membantu guru menemukan konsep-konsep penting yang perlu dipelajari oleh siswa. Kegiatan membuat pertanyaan membutuhkan keterampilan karena tidak semua siswa mampu membuat pertanyaan dengan mudah. Kegiatan membuat pertanyaan dapat diajarkan oleh guru kepada siswa menggunakan matriks pertanyaan. Tujuan kegiatan adalah memberikan pengalaman kepada guru IPA Biologi dalam membuat pertanyaan menggunakan matriks pertanyaan, sehingga guru dapat membelajarkan membuat pertanyaan menggunakan matriks pertanyaan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan membuat pertanyaan pembelajaran bagi guru IPA Biologi se-Lampung Timur. Kelompok mitra yaitu MGMP IPA Biologi se_Lampung Timur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara pretes dan postes. Data diolah menggunakan program excel. Hasil pengabdian sebagai berikut: nilai pretes 42,78, postes 55,42 dengan nilai N-Gain 22 berkategori tidak efektif. Kata Kunci: biologi; matriks; MGMP; pelatihan guru; pertanyaan

Abstract

This article was written as the stage of designing a blended learning assessment instrument model in elementary schools. This study aims to identify an assessment model that accommodates the realm of cognitive learning. The design phase of this research is based on the ADDIE model framework. The research population is all students of class V SDN 1,2, and 3 Karanganyar, the research sample is class V students at SDN 2 Karanganyar who have implemented blended learning. The data analysis technique used in this research is the descriptive data analysis technique. Based on the author's hypothesis, the stages of the development model that can be used based on the results of the analysis of assessment instruments for blended learning, there are three types of assessment, namely self-assessment, peer assessment, and teacher assessment. This triangle model is expected to accommodate the realm of learning in the implementation of blended learning assessment.
