Abstract

Bidikmisi scholarship is a government program to help prospective new students who are academically capable and economically incapable. The Bidikmisi scholarship is a form of tuition assistance and living expenses. Starting in 2018 Budi Darma University began accepting new students through the bidikmisi scholarship path, admission of new students through the bidikmisi path must meet the requirements set by the government. Determination of whether or not a prospective new student is a recipient of bidikmisi based on report cards, school performance, results of selection tests and interviews. During this time the organizers and managers of bidikmisi at Budi Darma University have had difficulty determining prospective students who are truly eligible to receive bidikmisi scholarships in addition to the very limited quota and the large number of prospective students receiving bidikmisi scholarships as well as the value of each criteria for prospective students receiving bidikmisi which is almost the same or similar to one another. To make it easier to determine prospective students receiving the Bidikmisi scholarship, the K-Medoids algorithm is used. K-Medoids algorithm is one of the algorithms in data mining to group data based on the closest criteria value

Abstract

The photo is made into a visual recording that has historical value or a memento. However, many memorable photos no longer look good and have noise due to the effectiveness of nature such as the evaporation of liquid that is around the image, it can also be dust or water on the surface of the image, besides that the noise can also be caused by plastic and paper materials that contained in the place where the image is stored as a photo album. For noise caused when taking digital images from camera devices can be in the form of a smoke or light coil that causes the image display is not clear. When the process of capturing RGB images often encountered noise such as black spots. Noise can be improved with several image enhancement techniques such as smoothing, leveling, and convolution. One of the improvements in noise in digital images can be done with Homomorphic filtering Method. Image improvement using the Homomorphic filtering method followed by Butterworth Filtering is part of the discrete fourier transform algorithm which confirms a concept that is rarely used to improve RGB images. However, this can be proven in the form of testing to eliminate noise in improving the quality of RGB images..Keywords: image, homomorphic, butterworth, filtering, RGB, noise

Abstract

Dampak dari pandemic Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) salah satunya adalah kegiatan proses belajar dan mengajar yang dilakukan dengan secara Online. Pembelajaran secara daring bisa dilakukan dengan menggunakan piranti lunak masing masing. Smartphone, laptop, dan koneksi internet yang stabil menjadi hal yang sangat genting saat ini. Pembelajaran secara daring juga mengakibatkan proses belajar yang dialami mahasiswa menjadi kurang efektif dan efisien dikarenakan berbagai hal seperti perangkat yang kurang mendukung, koneksi internet yang kurang memadai khususnya di daerah perkampungan serta proses mengajar memaksa dosen dan mahasiswa harus belajar serba terdigitalisai. Hal ini juga tentu dirasakan mahasiswa pada Universitas Budi Darma. Naïve Bayes merupakan teknik prediksi berbasis probabilistik sederhana yang berdasar pada aturan bayes dengan asumsi independensi yang kuat. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah studi literatur yaitu mengumpulkan sampel data berupa keluhan atau aduan mahasiswa dalam bentuk kuesioner. Berdasarkan Hasil dari pengujian dengan menggunakan 97 responden training serta 12 responden testing menampilkan akurasi sebesar 83,33%. prediksi puas dan kenyataannya benar puas adalah 8 responden. Jumlah prediksi Tidak Puas dan kenyataannya benar puas adalah 0 responden. Jumlah prediksi Puas dan kenyataannya benar tidak puas adalah 2 responden. Jumlah prediksi puas dan kenyataannya benar tidak puas adalah 2 responden. Pada prediksi tidak puas class precision mempunyai nilai 50% sebaliknya prediksi puas mempunyai 100% serta class recall pada true tidak puas mempunyai nilai 50% sebaliknya class recall pada true puas mempunyai 100%.

Abstract

Persaingan dunia kerja saat ini memaksa para pencari kerja untuk lebih memiliki modal dalam keahlian yang dimiliki. Hal ini tentu saja menjadi perhatian setiap sekolah untuk memberi bekal bagi setiap siswa yang akan lulus. Salah satu keahlian yang dibutuhkan adalah mampu mengolah data seperti surat menyurat menggunakan komputer, dan menggunakan Mail Merge. Madrasah Aliyah Swasta (MAS) Amaliyah menaruh perhatian terhadap keahlian apa yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa yang akan lulus. Pelatihan penggunaan Mail Merge dibutuhkan sehingga siswa yang akan lulus memiliki bekal keahlian yang dapat membantu mereka bersaing di dunia kerja nantinya.

Abstract

Merchandise Display (MD) is part of the team whose job is to display products and ensure products are kept clean and pleasing to the eye of consumers on shelf displays. MD also acts as a promotional worker for the company's goods. It is inseparable for PT. Maju Supermarkets together that rely on MD as a promotional team to meet the needs of goods according to consumer demand. Due to this, the existence of MD is very important for PT. Maju Bersama Supermarkets. So it is necessary that an appreciation be given to the results made by MD in the form of rewards. The reward given to the best MD based on the resulting performance is expected to improve performance for that MD or other MDs. The procedure carried out in the MD selection stage is not easy, it must be based on the criteria set by PT. Maju Bersama Supermarkets. The obstacle currently being experienced is that the election process does not yet have a strong reference, so it is possible to produce less objective results. So we need a system as a reference for the process of selecting the best MD. The decision support system is the solution needed to resolve these problems. By using the SMARTER method in the selection process. The SMARTER method is an improvement from the SMART METHOD where in determining the SMARTER Method the weighting process of criteria and sub criteria uses the ROC method. The result of the SMARTER method is the utility value of each criterion for later ranking of alternatives. From several criteria used for the selection process using the alternative SMARTER method with the name Fitri was chosen as the best MD with a final utility value of 0.76 or 76%Keywords: Decision Support System, MD, Best, SMARTER Method

Abstract

The process of selecting the North Sumatra Ambassador Language Finalists at the North Sumatra Language Hall is still subjective in that the assessment may not be based on established criteria or without looking objectively so that the selection process is carried out less precisely and the resulting decision is less satisfactory for the participants of the Ambassador Finalists North Sumatra Language. In this study, the authors used a decision support system with the Promethee II method to find the value of weights and criteria, and to find the final score or to find the finalist ranking of the North Sumatra Language Ambassador. Thus the Decision Support System is needed in order to help the North Sumatra Language Office in determining the Finalists of the North Sumatra Language Ambassador. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to build a decision support system application for the selection of North Sumatra Language Ambassador Finalists using the Promethee II method so that it can help and facilitate the North Sumatra Language Hall in making a decision to choose the North Sumatra Language Ambassador and the resulting decision is satisfactory.Keywords: Decision Support System, Language Ambassadors, Promethee Method ii

Abstract

Data stored in the database affects how much storage memory is used. The more data stored, the more memory will be used. To reduce memory usage it is necessary to reduce the data to be stored. The technique that can be used is data compression. Levenstein algorithm is a data compression technique that replaces the initial bits of the string, resulting in smaller compression. Levenstein algorithm is suitable for compressing data that has many repetitions.

Abstract

Text compression is used to reduce the repetition of letters so that the storage space used becomes smaller and transmission becomes faster. Techniques in text compression that can be used are using lossless compression. Lossless compression is a type of compression where when the decompression process occurs no data is lost. Abstract

Instruktur merupakan unsur terpenting yang harus ada pada sebuah kegiatan belajar dalam pelatihan kerja. Seorang instruktur di dalam suatu program pelatihan kerja haruslah benar-benar professional dan berkualitas. Kunci utama yang harus dipunyai oleh setiap instruktur ialah kompetensi. Perlu dilakukan pemeringkatan kompetensi instruktur dalam sebuah pelatihan kerja pada BBPVP Medan. Pemeringkatan kompetensi instruktur ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan semangat kerja dari masing-masing instruktur tersebut. Beberapa kriteria yang disarankan oleh penulis yaitu keterampilan mengajar, kemampuan berkomunikasi, keterampilan sosial, lama bekerja, stabilitas emosi dan sertifikat yang pernah diperoleh. Dari permasalahan sangat tepat bila menerapkan SPK. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode EDAS. Metode EDAS digunakan sebagai bahan perhitungan dalam penelitian. Hasil pemeringkatan kompetensi instruktur yaitu untuk kompetensi sangat baik alternatif A14, A6, A13 dan A3, untuk kompetensi baik alternatif A8, A10, A7 dan A9, untuk kompetensi cukup baik alternatif A5, A12, A16 dan A2, untuk alternatif kurang baik alternatif A15, A11, A4 dan A1. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa instruktur yang memiliki kompetensi sangat baik dan baik merupakan instruktur yang memiliki kompetensi yang paling baik dibandingkan instruktur yang memiliki kompetensi yang cukup baik dan kurang baik.

Abstract

In file compression, especially image files, it is expected that the results obtained using a compression method will be smaller than before, because usually storage for image files uses a lot of memory capacity. To get better results, a combination of compression methods is used, namely BWT with RLE. To produce a better compression ratio, 2 scenarios are used, the first using the results from the second and third stages of the BWT algorithm. From the RLE algorithm, it was found that the size increased by 10%, with the results of the second stage of the BWT algorithm, the size ratio decreased by 58.33% and with the results of the third stage of the BWT algorithm, the size ratio increased by 44.44%.
