Abstract

The plan to develop a cable car/gondola on Tambak Wedi Road in Surabaya has triggered trip generationand attractions, which can eventually decrease the performance of this road. Therefore, an analysis of the road performance due to the development of the cable car/gondola is necessary to minimize the impact of its performance and to provide solutions to traffic problems when the analysis indicates bad results. This research employed the method of the Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI 1997), or Indonesian Highway Capacity manual, and other related regulations. The analysis of road performance began with a traffic survey and was followed by predicting trip generation and attraction. After analyzing the existing conditions of road performance, the researcher analyzed the traffic predictions during construction and operation as well as proposed recommendations for alternative management to overcome the traffic impacts caused by the planned development. The research results demonstrated that the existing condition on Tambak Wedi Road obtained the highest result in the morning by V/C Ratio 0.16 and LOS A, whereas during the construction, the highest result occurred in the morning by V/C Ratio 0.2 and LOS A. Finally, during the operation, the highest result also occurred in the morning by V/C Ratio of 0.57 and LOS A.

Abstract

KAI DAOP VIII Ltd operates the commuter train for Surabaya-Bangil route to overcome the needs of people that use train to work. This train is expected to reduce the congestion in Surabaya since there are also citizen outside the city that use it for work. Thus, the performance of train operation must be evaluated such as; travel, stopping, and delay time, convenience of sitting and standing sites, and loading factor. Field survey data were collected and processed by hypothetical test 1- Sample t test. The travel time for Surabaya-Bangil was changed from 66 to 63 minutes based on the schedule while the viceversa route changed from 66 to 55 minutes. The stopping time for Surabaya-Bangil was changed from 43 to 47 minutes based on the schedule while the viceversa route changed from 43 to 50 minutes. The delay time for Surabaya-Bangil had 6 minutes and departure 4 minutes, while for Bangil-Surabaya had the arrival 7 minutes and departure 9 minutes. Those results were under the process of acceptance after the hypothetical test 1-Sample t test is done. The convenience of seat gained 0.3 m2/space in the normal condition and 0.167-0.169 m2/space during COVID-19. Meanwhile, the convenience of standing site obtained 0.25-0.29 m2/space. The loading factor got 36% for Surabaya-Bangil and 29% for Bangil-Surabaya. These results categorized as ineligible for loading factor 70% since this survey was conducted during COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Adanya rencana pengembangan fasilitas di tersus PT. Pupuk Kaltim yaitu dengan membangun dermaga khusus pupuk NPK. Pengembangan ini diharapkan dapat membantu proses distribusi pupuk NPK dengan efektif, efisien, dan cepat. Dermaga yang direncanakan adalah dermaga jenis quadrant shiploader untuk kapasitas kapal 10.000 DWT. Perencanaan dermaga ini telah diwujudkan dalam bentuk rencana pengembangan dermaga. Namun untuk mewujudkan pembangunan tersebut diperlukan detail engineering desain yang meliputi sistem fender dan boulder, perencanaan trestle, pivot, loading platform, mooring dolphin, breasting dolphin, catwalk, pemancangan, dan detail penulangan. Selain detail engineering desain, perlu ditinjau juga terhadap kedalaman air pada alur masuk tersus PT. Pupuk Kaltim. Untuk pengerjaan pembetonan pada tugas akhir ini direncanakan menggunakan beton konvensional atau cor in situ, namun dalam metode pelaksanaannya, pihak kontraktor dapat mengupayakan menggunakan sistem pracetak namun tetap mengacu pada desain yang telah direncanakan pada tugas akhir ini. Perencanaan dermaga tidak hanya mencakup perencanaan fasilitas laut serta perencanaan struktur dermaga saja. Selain itu perlu juga direncanakan terkait metode pelaksanaan pembangunan dana dalam perencanaan dermaga juga harus ditinjau terkait rencana anggaran biaya dari dermaga tersebut. Dari hasil analisis perhitungan didapatkan kebutuhan dermaga dengan dimensi trestle sebesar 4 x 50 m2, pivot 8 x 14 m2, loading platform 3 x 82 m2, mooring dolphin 3,8 x 3,8 m2, breasting dolphin sebesar 4,8 x 4,8 m2.

Abstract

Juanda Airport as one of airports in Indonesia has served domestic and international flight. Airports are usually located in outlying areas accessible via direct access freeways or transit lines rather than at the center of metropolitan areas restricted by local grid networks, so their market area can be measured. The modes used at Juanda airport are dominated by private vehicles and cab. And it caused a lot of queue in the drop zone area at the peak hour and also needed some additional parking area which has overloaded in capacity. Information on the use of transportation modes is very important to know. This needs sould important in order to maximize the need for facilities related to the use of access modes to the airport. The method used is to identify the use of vehicles that access the airport, evaluate the performance of parking lots, evaluate of pick up and drop off area, evaluate the number of queues at the drop off and pick up area and when if mass transportation is held to provide access modes to the airport. The result shows that private vehicles dominate as vehicles accessing the airport by 87,78% and public vehicles by 12,23%. Peak hours of vehicles arrival at 9 AM. The analysis of the use of the drop off area a queue of vehicles by 87,57% and demand in the parking lots of 60,37%. From the proposal of using mass transportation to reduce queue in the drop zone area by 12,42% and reduction in parking lots demand by 39,62%.

Abstract

Marka yellow box junction (YBJ) adalah marka kotak kuning dengan dua garis diagonal berpotongan yang berfungsi untuk melarang kendaraan berhenti di area persimpangan agar tidak terjadi kemacetan. Namun dalam penerapannya, masih banyak pengendara melakukan pelanggaran marka YBJ sehingga gridlock sering terjadi di persimpangan, khususnya di kota besar seperti Surabaya. Untuk itu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui keefektivitasan marka YBJ terhadap kinerja simpang, hubungan keberadaan marka YBJ terhadap keefektivitasan kinerja simpang, kesesuaian standar YBJ, dan pengetahuan pengendara terhadap marka YBJ di Surabaya. Simpang Jl. Margomulyo - Jl. Tandes Lor dianggap dapat menjadi parameter untuk kinerja simpang, dan tingkat pelanggaran marka YBJ. Dilakukan juga pengecekan kesesuaian standar pembagian kuisioner tingkat pengetahuan pengendara di Surabaya terhadap YBJ, dengan menggunakan metode analisis koefisien korelasi dengan bantuan software SPSS 26. Dari hasil keefektivitasanYBJ terhadap kinerja simpang, diperoleh hasil tidak efektif dengan angka tundaan sebesar 45.72 det/skr, dan tingkat pelayanan simpang E. Dari analisa hubungan, diperoleh hubungan yang erat antara keberadaan YBJ dengan kinerja simpang. Dari hasil survei kesesuaianYBJ dengan peraturan, diperoleh adanya ketidak sesuaian dimensi dengan peraturan yang berlaku, sehingga kesesuaian YBJ adalah tidak efektf. Dari hasil survei tingkat pengetahuan YBJ diperoleh tingkat pengetahuan pengendara terhadap definisi, dan fungsi YBJ adalah cukup baik, akan tetapi banyak pengendara masih belum mengetahui sanksi pelanggaran YBJ karena sangat kurangnya sosialisasi dari Pemerintah Surabaya.

Abstract

Sepanjang ruas jalan Raya Tanjungsari - jalan Raya Tambak Mayor, Kota Surabaya terdapat kerusakan yang dapat mengganggu aktifitas pengguna jalan sehingga mempengaruhi waktu tempuh kendaraan menjadi lambat dan penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan. Pada penelitian ini, mengggunakan metode seperti identifikasi kerusakan menggunakan metode Dirgolaksono dan Indrasurya B. Mochtar 1990, metode kecepatan setempat, dan metode regresi untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kondisi kerusakan jalan dengan kecepatan kendaraan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecepatan kendaraan terhadap tingkat kerusakan perkerasan jalan Raya Tanjungsari – Raya Tambak Mayor sepanjang 2000-meter untuk panjang setiap segmen 100 meter. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dilapangan secara visual seperti geometrik jalan, kerusakan jalan, dan kecepatan kendaraan. Hasil analisis dapat dilihat pada segmen 13 dengan nilai TDP = 45 menunjukkan bahwa jalan tersebut dalam kondisi kerusakan rusak dengan kecepatan perjalanan mencapai 18,650 Km/Jam. Sedangkan untuk segmen 15 dengan nilai TDP = 6,25 menunjukkan jalan tersebut dalam kondisi baik dengan kecepatan perjalanan 44,291 Km/Jam. Persamaan regresi adalah Y = 0,8209x + 48,273. R2 (R Square) R2 yang didapat 0,704. Artinya hubungan kerusakan jalan terhadap kecepatan perjalanan sebesar sebesar 70,4%.

Abstract

In Surabaya, one of the busiest junctions is a signalized junction connecting Kapasan - Kenjeran Street and Kapasari - Simokerto Street. This study's analysis followed the technical requirements for signalized junctions according to the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual 1997 and used modeling with Vissim software. The result showed that the writer could find the queue length and delay for the north, west, and east arms. In that arm, the vissim result was more significant than Indonesian Road Capacity Manual. On the south peninsula, the queue length and delay value for Indonesian Road Capacity Manual were more outstanding than for vissim. The result of the Special Break Room design for the east approach had an area of 91.2 m2 with details of 2 lanes with a width of 2 x 3.8 meters, and the main length of the Special Break Room section was 12 meters with a capacity for 61 motorbikes. Vissim analysis result after the researcher implemented Special Break Room markings was the queue length was reduced from 329 meters to 83 meters, and the delay, which was previously 190 seconds, became 41.78 seconds. The planning result of Yellow Box Junction markings obtained a vertical line from north to south with a length of 22 meters and a horizontal line from west to east was 18 meters. The width of the straight and diagonal lines was between 10 – 18 cm, and the thickness was between 2-30 mm above road level.
