Abstract

Rokan Hulu merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang ada di provinsi Riau, Rokan Hulu juga dijuluki sebagai Negeri Seribu Suluk. Jumlah penduduk nya sebanyak 666.410 jiwa ditahun 2018 dan luas wilayah 7.588,13 ha. Lembaga Keuangan Bank sudah ada sejak lama di kabupaten Rokan Hulu, namun beberapa tahun belakangan ini muncul beberapa bank syariah yang juga beroperasi di Rokan Hulu, sebagai contoh ada Bank Syariah Mandiri, BNI Syariah, BRI Syariah dan lainnya. Keberadaan Bank Syariah ini tentunya diharapkan bisa membantu perekonomian masyarakat di Rokan Hulu. Baik dalam segi pembiayaan maupun jasa lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor pelayanan terhadap keputusan masyarakat dalam memilih jasa bank syariah di kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 220 orang dengan domisili di empat kecamatan yaitu kecamatan kunto darussalam, ujungbatu, tandun dan pagaran tapah. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa pelayanan mempengaruhi masyarakat dalam memilih jasa bank syariah.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah University of Riau is one of universities in Riau and every college must do catur dharma which is the vision of all universities in Indonesia. One of the forms of catur dharma college is to carry out community service. Community service is an activity of academic community that utilizes science and technology to advance people's prosperity and educate the life of the nation. The form of community service undertaken by Sharia Banking Lecturers is holding a seminar with the theme “Education and Literation Of Sharia Bank Product For Student of Pondok Pesantren Al-Kautsar Pekanbaru". After the holding of this seminar is expected students understand Islamic bank products and can utilize Islamic bank products well. Keywords: Education, Literacy, Product, Islamic Bank.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to describe effectiveness of empirical inductive learning cycle model in improving of critical thinking skills of students in sub skills of analyzing arguments.  Indicators of critical thinking skills studied were identifying conclusions and seeing similarities and differences. Population was all 170 students of Grade XI State Senior High School 3 in Kotabumi. Samples were 34 students in XI Sains 2 class and 34 students in XI Sains 3 class that have equal academic abilities. This was a quasi experiment research using non equivalent control group design. Effectiveness of learning with empirical inductive learning cycle model was measured based on significant gain improvements of skill in analyzing arguments. The results showed that average value of n-Gain of skill in analyzing arguments in experiment and control classes were 0.62 and 0.42 respectively. The hypothesis result test showed that class which used empirical inductive learning cycle model had higher skill in analyzing arguments than class with conventional learning model. This indicated empirical inductive learning cycle model was effective to improve critical thinking of students in the acid base matery in state senior high school 3 in Kotabumi.Keywords: empirical inductive learning cycle, critical thinking skills of students
