Abstract

Indonesia has a wide variety of cultures, and one of them is traditional snacks. This culture can be a unique tourist attraction asset, so it must be maintained and preserved. Kampung Kue is one of the villages that produces the best quality and complete variety of traditional snacks in Surabaya. Along with the increasing needs of traditional snacks, the production of Kampung Kue‘s traditional snack is also increasingly diversified. All of the traditional snack produced by Kampung Kue are competing and trying to win the market, where consumers are faced with the many choices available on the market, so that the treatment of traditional snacks products must be increased, and such effort can be obtained through a unique traditional snacks packaging design. The main problem of Kampung Kue traditional snacks is that they are only wrapped individually using transparent resealable plastic wrap. The traditional snacks bought were only wrapped in as plastic bag, unless the customer buy them in very large quantity. They are also lacking in the knowledge about how the snack characteristics can affect the choice of the packaging. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct training to create a new packaging design that fits with the standard of good packaging.

Abstract

Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur (University of National Development “Veteran” of East Java, subsequently referred to as UPN “Veteran” of East Java in this paper) has several signature objects within the perimeter of the university’s environment, such as physical objects (tools, things, places) and non-physical objects (action, activity, information). Those signature objects can be visualized into symbol or pictogram that signify the ideas and simplify the physical shape of the real object. Pictograms can serves as a visual language to communicate a message or information that will be easily understood by the audience. One optimization form for the use of pictogram is as the signage in the implementation of visual communication media in the UPN "Veteran" environment of East Java. The method used in this design is a qualitative method by finding relevant literature, collecting primary and secondary data, analyzing the data using the TOWS Matrix table to determine the Unique Selling Proposition, and analyzing the insight of the target audience to develop creative solutions. From the results of the TOWS Matrix analysis, a Unique Selling Proposition was obtained in the form of grouping pictograms into several groups of objects, namely Vision and Mission of UPN "Veterans" of East Java, UPN "Veterans" of East Java’s Objectives and Strategies, State Defense Values, Faculties and Study Programs in the UPN "Veteran" of East Java, Student Activity Unit in the UPN" Veteran "East Java environment, and Facilities in the UPN "Veteran" of East Java’s environment. While from the results of the target audience's insights analysis, the creative solutions was found through the usage of graphic elements in pictogram designs, namely elements of color and color taken from the distinctive characteristics of UPN "Veteran" East Java.

Abstract

Genteng-Candirejo Herbal Village Surabaya, is a center for Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) producing national class herbal drinks with a total of 12 Trade Businesses (UD) operating under the auspices of the Mandiri Gencar (Genteng-Candirejo) UKM. The problem that arises from the results of observations and interviews of researchers with UMKM activists in Genteng-Candirejo Herbal Village is that the product packaging is still very simple and has not been designed attractively. The majority of UMKMs in Genteng-Candirejo Herbal Village do not have the knowledge and understanding related to product packaging so that it makes it difficult for them to market their products to a larger market the packaging of the product that is not ideal also gives the impression that herbal drinks are outdated products, and cannot communicate the image of Kampung Jamu Genteng-Candirejo Surabaya well. The solution to this problem is by providing training and counseling to members of the Genteng-Candirejo Herbal Village UMKM regarding the design of herbal drink packaging. The methods used in this activity are, first, the presentation method to convey several things related to knowledge of herbal beverage packaging. Second, the demonstration method to show how to make herbal beverage product packaging for the UKM Kampung Herbal Genteng-Candirejo. Third, practical methods to train the Genteng-Candirejo Herbal Village UKM group in making herbal drink packaging designs

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of tax justice, money ethics, understanding of taxation, tax rates and tax sanctions on tax evasion. Tax evasion in Indonesia is an important problem that is being faced by the tax apparatus. Even though there are laws and regulations, there are still taxpayers who commit tax evasion. This research can help the government, so that they know the factors that can significantly influence tax evasion. This research method is measured using the SmartPLS version 3 data processing program which refers to the value generated by Cronbach's alpha and composite reliability, with 75 respondents as research subjects from UMKM taxpayers . The results of this study indicate that the variables of tax justice, money ethics, tax rates have a significant positive effect on tax evasion. While the understanding of taxation does not have a significant negative effect, and tax sanctions have a significant negative effect. The implication of this research is that the hypothesis of tax justice and understanding of taxation is rejected, and the hypothesis of money ethics, tax rates, and tax sanctions are accepted.

Abstract

̶Mayoritas penduduk Indonesia adalah memeluk agama Islam, sehingga kehalalan suatu produk pangan sangat diperhatikan. Kehalalan produk pangan dan izin edar Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) merupakan bentuk perlindungan konsumen, karena dengan adanya izin edar BPOM membuat masyarakat menjadi lebih tenang dan merasa aman ketika akan mengkonsumsi suatu produk pangan. Sertifikasi Halal dan izin edar BPOM merupakan bentuk perlindungan konsumen yang ditetapkan oleh Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH) dan BPOM. Permasalahan yang dialami oleh CV Milkinesia Nusantara adalah belum adanya sertifikasi Halal dan Izin edar BPOM. Tidak adanya sertifikasi Halal dan izin edar BPOM, produk CV Milkinesia Nusantara tidak dapat dipasarkan kedalam mini market, supermarket, dan luar daerah. Produk CV Milkinesia Nusantara juga kalah bersaing dengan produk lain yang telah memiliki sertifikasi Halal dan izin edar BPOM karena lebih dapat dipercaya oleh masyarakat. Permasalahan selanjutnya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman karyawan CV Milkinesia Nusantara tentang pentingnya sertifikasi Halal dan izin edar BPOM. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah membantu karyawan CV Milkinesia Nusantara untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya sertifikasi Halal dan izin edar BPOM. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah karyawan CV Milkinesia Nusantara mendapatkan peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya sertifikasi Halal dan izin edar BPOM yang akhirnya dalam waktu dekat CV Milkinesia Nusantara akan berusaha mendapatkan sertifikasi Halal dan izin edar BPOM.

Abstract

CV Milkinesia Nusantara merupakan usaha pengolahan susu sapi berskala kecil menengah di Kabupaten Ponorogo. CV Milkinesia Nusantara akan melakukan pengembangan pengolahan susu pasteurisasi dengan teknologi Pulsed Electric Field dan membangun tempat produksi baru sehingga dokumen yang harus dipersiapkan adalah dokumen Standar Operasional Prosedur produksi untuk mendukung kelancaran aktivitas produksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dalam menyusun dokumen. Selain itu, juga dilakukan pengujian angka lempeng total sampel susu di laboratorium sebagai data verifikasi kecukupan pasteurisasi. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu rancangan SOP Produksi yang disusun terdiri dari pendahuluan, gambaran umum pengolahan susu pasteurisasi, dan tahapan setiap proses. Kombinasi pre-heating (70oC; 20 menit) dan Pulsed Electric Field (18 kV; 4 menit; frekuensi 8,197 kHz; lebar pulsa 66 μs) pada susu sapi murni sebagai data kecukupan pasteurisasi mampu menurunkan jumlah total mikorba dari sebesar 99% (2 siklus log) yang mana data tersebut telah sesuai dengan SNI susu pasteurisasi, tetapi penurunannya belum sesuai dengan batas minimum pada konsep 5D. Evaluasi rancangan SOP produksi di CV Milkinesia Nusantara secara garis besar berupa tanggapan, masukan, dan saran terkait rancangan SOP yang disusun.
