Abstract

Wind turbines are windmills that are used to generate electricity. The basic principle works, namely converting the mechanical energy from the wind into rotational energy, then the rotation of the mill is used to rotate the generator, which in turn will generate electricity. Over time, many turbine innovations have been used. Innovation can be done by fixing existing deficiencies or adding new things so that these products have additional functions. In this research, innovations were carried out in wind turbines. That is, two different types of turbines are combined into one, namely a combination of a conventional turbine (propeller) and a wind ball energy (venturi) turbine. This innovation is made so that the hybrid turbine can work and function at low wind speeds. This research is intended to determine the performance of this hybrid turbine by placing the propeller blade in the middle of the venturi turbine blade and varying the ratio of the length of the turbine propeller blade to the diameter of the venturi turbine. So that the right size and maximum results are obtained in the manufacture of this hybrid turbine. Key words: Hybrid Turbine, Propeller Turbine, Venturi Turbine.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to experimental study of the Darrieus type H turbine, using NACA 0018standard hydrofoil blade, which variations of 3 blades and 6 blades of turbine diameter of 0.44 m x 0.15 m on theouter turbine and 0.18 x 0.14 m on turbine section with additional of 0.10 m chord length and 0º to 360º attack anglevariations. The variations of velocity flow in water (V) of 0.3 m/s and 0.65 m/s in the water tunnel dimensions of 6 mx 0.6 m x 1 m. The two types of torques were obtained at rest (static torque) for each angle of the azimuth and movingconditions (dynamic torque) from no load and until it stops spinning by utilizing the braking force on the pulley withvariations in loading. In the first test with a variation of 3 blades and the water velocity of 0.3 m/s for the static torquewas obtained 0.288 Nm and a variation of 6 blades of 0.336 Nm. Whilst, a speed of 0.65 m/s static torque generatedat a variation of 3 blades that was 0.36 Nm and a variation of 6 blades of 0.384 Nm for dynamic torque produced 13RPM, which a variation of 3 blades speed of 0.3 m/s and a speed of 0.65 m/ s resulted 23 RPM. The experimentrevealed a variation of 6 blades with a speed of 0.3 m/s at 16 RPM and a speed of 0.65 m/s of 26 RPM. Based on theresults of the study, it can be concluded that the Darrieus hydrokinetic of turbine variation of 6 blades produced moredynamic torque that was compared to the 3 blades variation. It was due to the number of blades greatly influence ofthe kinetic energy absorption of the water to be converted into dynamic and static torques.Keywords: Darrieus turbine, static torque, dynamic torque,NACA 0018

Abstract

In this research carried out innovation in wind turbine that generate power using wind energy. Where two different wind turbines are combined into a hybrid wind turbine. There are conventional wind turbine (propeller) and wind ball energy (venturi). Both types of wind turbines are still in the same axis of the shaft. This research is done with the intention that this hybrid wind turbine can work well at low wind speeds. This study was conducted to determine the addition of wind turbine propeller performance after the merger with wind ball energy. The hybrid wind turbine performance is measured on each diameter variation of propeller wind turbine’s blade. So we get the right ratio between the diameter of the propeller wind turbine and wind ball energy in this hybrid. In this study using three variations of wind turbine propeller diameter, there are 160 cm, 200 cm and 240 cm with 3 pieces of blade on each variation. Propeller’s blade profile using NREL S833. Wind ball energy were later added in front of propeller turbine. Number of wind ball energy’s blade is 5 pieces with a diameter of 0.5 meters. From the test results known that with the addition of a wind ball energy on a propeller wind turbine with smallest diameter has the greatest percentage increase in performance among the three variations of wind turbine propeller diameter. Abstract

Solar chimney power plant (SCPP) is an efficient and environmentally friendly renewable energy by utilizing solar energy as its main source. Based on the obtained hypothesis, the use of concentrating lenses can increase the temperature inside the solar collector. With increasing temperature, the speed of air to rotate the turbine blades will increase, so that the power obtained will increase maximally. This tool consists of 4 parts, namely: a buffer made of circular steel reinforcement, a heat sink made of concrete and painted black to absorb more heat and formed in a circle, a transparent cover or collector of clear plastic material, and a concentrating lens with variations of 36 and 21 concentrating lenses. This study aims to determine the temperature increase that occurs in the solar collector using a concentrating lens, to determine the wind power potential and efficiency of the solar collector using 36 concentrating lenses, 21 concentrating lenses and without using concentrating lenses. The results of this research are, by the using of concentrating lens that totalling of 36 and 21, it produces maximum wind power of 3.006 W and 2.478 W with an average of 0.929 W and 0.761 W per day, while without the using of concentrating lens, it produces 1.483 W with an average of 0.486 W per day, and it obtained the collector efficiency by the using of 36 and 21 concentrating lens of 1.122% and 1.016%, and without using a concentrating lens the collector efficiency is obtained 0.775%. Abstract

The savonius turbine is a vertical axis wind turbine that can be used in low speed waters. The compounding is to make a six-blade savonius type bach with three large blades plus three small blades where the small blade is 2/3 of the length of the large blade with hydrokinetic driving force. Variation of the water velocity is 0.34 m / s and 0.59 m / s. This study the shape and dimensions of the turbines used are the height of the 300 mm turbine, the diameter of the turbine is 330 mm, the length of the blade is 150 mm and the length of the blade is 100 mm. In this study the data collection process using pulley as a conductor of power which is given a load to calculate the load that can be taken by the turbine and above the pulley is given as a pointer to measure static load. The purpose of this study was to determine how much the static and dynamic torque of a six-blade bach type savonius turbine with three large blades and three small blades.Keywords: Turbine savonius, large blade, small blade, hydrokinetic

Abstract

Turbin Uap (steam turbine) merupakan suatu penggerak mula yang mengubah energi potensial uap menjadi energi kinetik dan selanjutnya diubah menjadi energi mekanis dalam bentuk putaran poros turbin. Poros turbin, lansung atau dengan bantuan roda gigi reduksi, dihubungkan dengan mekanisme yang akan digerakkan.Hasil rata – rata dari turbin yang dihasilkan selama satu tahun adalah 214,46 MW pada unit 1 dan rata – rata efisiensi turbin yang dihasilkan yaitu sebesar 34,72% pada unit 1 selama satu tahun. Untuk unit 2 didapatkan hasil rata – rata dari turbin yang dihasilkan selama satu tahun adalah 174.06 MW dan rata – rata efisiensi turbin yang dihasilkan yaitu sebesar 27.81% pada unit 1 selama satu tahun. Perbandingan naik turunnya daya turbin dan efisiensi turbin tidak mengalami perubahan yang siknifikan yaitu sebesar 40MW untuk daya turbin dan 6% untuk efisiensi turbin antara unit 1 dengan unit 2.Dari hasil perhitungan yang sesuai dengan data selama satu tahun dimana daya turbin dan efisiensi turbin mengalami kenaikan dan penurunan yang disebabkan oleh naik turunnya hasil dari Turbine Heat Rate, pembakaran batu bara yang tidak maksimal, karakteristik dari batu bara, penurunan beban yang dihasilkan, faktor lamanya pemeliharaan, kesalahan dalam pengoperasian dan perawatan serta faktor-faktor lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Direktorat Pengadaan dan Kepangkatan Badan Kepegawaian Negara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja pegawai, 2) menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan spiritual terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan 3) menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja pegawai. Sebanyak 143 kuesioner diberikan kepada pegawai di lingkungan Direktorat Pengadaan dan Kepangkatan, dan kuesioner yang valid untuk diteliti lebih lanjut sebanyak 136 kuesioner. Metode statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa : 1) kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai, 2) kecerdasan spiritual berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai , dan 3) kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

An experimental review of the H-type Darrieus water turbine has been carried out using a standard NACA 2415 hydrofoil blade to determine the static and dynamic torque values produced by the 3-blade and 6 blade Darrieus hydro-turbine turbines. mx 0.6 m x 1 m. This test uses a variation of three blades and six blades, with turbine diameter 0.44 m x 0.15 m on the outer turbine and 0.18 x 0.14 m on the inner turbine and 0.10 m chord length with variations of the angle of attack from 0º to 360º, using variations in the speed of the first water flow 0.3 m / s and the variation of the second water flow velocity is 0.65 m / s. At a water speed of 0.3 m / s six blades, the static torque value generated is 0.3 Nm, the dynamic torque value is 0.384 Nm, at a water speed of 0.65 m / s the dynamic torque value is 0.432 Nm and the static torque value is 0.384 Nm, for Darrieus turbine testing three blades with a water flow velocity of 0.3 m / s dynamic torque value is 0.336 and with the same speed its static torque is 0.264 Nm. At the water velocity of 0.65 m / s, the dynamic torque value is 0.384 Nm, and the static torque value is 0.336 Nm. From the measurement data it can be concluded that the variation of the six blade turbine has a value of static torque and dynamic torque higher than the three blade turbine, the number of blades greatly influences the kinetic energy absorption of water to be converted into static and dynamic torque.Keywords: Turbine Darrieus, static torque, dynamic torque

Abstract

The objective of this research is to understand the implementation of partial delegation of Regency Head's authority to.Sub-District Head in providing license on Health Affairs in the Margahayu Sub-District, Regency of Bandung, particularlyfor licensing on depot for mineral water replenishment. Based on the research result, it is known that the licensing service on.the depot for mineral water replenishment has not been able to be implemented yet, therefore it has no impact on goal.attainment of authority delegation which is to bring nearer the service access and to improve the quality of service and.working performance marked by the absence of capacity enhancement of the sub-district personnel. Meanwhile, the existing problems can be categorized as follow: 1) Lack of technical support; 2) The unavailability of financial resources and 3) Limitation on Administrative Capacity.
