Abstract

Jemaat Ahmadiyah Indonesia (JAI) yang berada di Kota Tangerang Selatan merupakan kelompok minoritas yang  sering mengalami praktek diskriminasi. Praktek diskriminasi yang dialami komunitas ini  bersifat verbal melalui penyebutan ‘sesat’ dan ‘diluar Islam’. Serta non-verbal yang berujung pada pelarangan pembangunan tempat ibadah, dan penolakan keberadaan Ahmadiyah. Perilaku diskriminasi ini timbul dari perilaku sosial yang tercipta oleh aktor dan budaya yang ada. Sehingga muncul rumusan masalah bagaimana relasi agen dan struktur masyarakat dalam perilaku diskriminasi terhadap komunitas JAI di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Analisis dalam penelitian ini dibedah menggunakan teori Strukturasi Anthony Giddens yang menjelaskan konsep hubungan dualitas struktur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan terdapatnya pola praktik sosial yang diciptakan oleh kelompok anti-Ahamdiyah serta pengusaanya dalam gugus struktur yakni dominasi, signifikasi, dan legitimasi. Praktik sosial ini menyebabkan terbentuknya rutinitas yang tidak mampu di de-rutinitaskan oleh kelompok Ahmadiyah, sehingga mereka berada dalam lingkaran yang membuatnya terdiskriminasi. The Indonesian Ahmadiyya Community (JAI) located in the city of South Tangerang is a minority group that often experiences discrimination. The practice of discrimination experienced by this community from being verbal through the mention of "pervert" and "outside Islam". And non-verbal actions which led to the prohibition on the construction of places of worship, and the rejection of the existence of Ahmadiyya. This behavior of discrimination arises from social behavior created by actors and the culture that exists. So that the problem appears formulation, How the relationship of agents and community structure in the behavior of discrimination against the JAI community in South Tangerang City. The analysis in this study was dissected using Structuration Theory Anthony Giddens which explained the concept of structural duality relations. This type of research is qualitative with phenomenological methods. The results of this study showed that there is a pattern of social practice created by the anti-Ahamdiyah group as well as its exhortion in structural groups namely domination, signification, and legitimacy. This social practice has led to the formation of routines that the Ahmadiyya group cannot de-routine, so they are in a circle that makes them discriminated against.

Abstract

One of the problems that become a threat to food security in Indonesia is agricultural degeneration. Recently, to perceive the food security issues is how collaborative governance works and how many actors engage to create food security. the problematic issue is the function of agricultural land occurs in the form of changes in the use of agricultural land into commercial lands such as housing, industrial areas, business, and trade centers. This research tries to elaborate on farming in Banten-Indonesia. Jawara Farm is one of the agriculture business models in Banten who drove by young people of Banten. This model business very interesting for alternatives in regeneration and business model in farming especially in Banten. Using qualitative methods and Collaborative governance approach, this research looking forward to the model of young farmers in Banten as a model in collaborative governance. This research found several challenges about the collaboration model between the young farmers, the government, and the private sector.

Abstract

Abstract:Bye Bye Plastic Bags is an environmental movement that emerged due to the unrest of two young people named Isabel Wijsen and Melati Wijsen regarding the problem of using plastic on the island of Bali because plastic waste on the island of Bali turned out to be found in rice fields and beaches which caused clogged gutters and filled the river. This is a problem in the reality of the environment in Bali should be a concern for local governments and communities. Therefore in this study an analysis will be made on the role of Bye Bye Plastic Bags in realizing the policy of the Provincial Government of Bali in limiting plastic bags in 2013-2018. Theories used in this study are environmental political actors, new social movements and environmental movements and non-government organizations. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach to explain the journey of Bye Bye Plastic Bags in carrying out its programs and activities so as to realize the policies of the Bali government. The results of the analysis show that the successful activities carried out by Bye Bye Plastic Bags in 2013-2018 in realizing the policy of the Provincial Government of Bali regarding the limitation of plastic bags, namely Spreading Awareness and Education, Creating Policy and Regulation with Government, Showing Solution, and Growing the Movement.Keywords: new social movement, environmental movement, environmental politics.  AbstrakBye Bye Plastic Bags merupakan gerakan lingkungan yang muncul akibat keresahan dua anak muda bernama Isabel Wijsen dan Melati Wijsen terkait masalah penggunaan plastik di pulau Bali karena sampah plastik di pulau Bali ternyata terdapat pada beras. sawah dan pantai yang menyebabkan selokan tersumbat dan memenuhi sungai. Hal ini menjadi masalah dalam realitas lingkungan hidup di Bali yang harus menjadi perhatian pemerintah daerah dan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan analisis tentang peran Kantong Plastik Bye Bye dalam mewujudkan kebijakan Pemerintah Provinsi Bali dalam pembatasan kantong plastik tahun 2013-2018. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah para aktor politik lingkungan, gerakan sosial baru dan gerakan lingkungan serta lembaga swadaya masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk menjelaskan perjalanan Kantong Plastik Bye Bye dalam menjalankan program dan kegiatannya guna mewujudkan kebijakan Pemerintah Bali. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan kegiatan yang dilakukan Kantong Plastik Bye Bye tahun 2013-2018 dalam mewujudkan kebijakan Pemerintah Provinsi Bali mengenai pembatasan kantong plastik yaitu Penyebaran Kesadaran dan Edukasi, Membuat Kebijakan dan Regulasi dengan Pemerintah, Menunjukkan Solusi, dan Menumbuhkan Gerakan.Keywords: gerakan sosial baru, gerakan lingkungan, politik lingkungan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tulisan ini mengkaji praktik De-politisasi isu publik yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah. De-politisasi isu dan kepentingan publik memicu terjadinya deficit demokrasi suatu negara. De-politisasi melalui negasi atas akses dan pembatasan atas ruang publik dalam membahas kebijakan yang berkaitan langsung dengan kepentingan Negara. Atas dasar hal tersebut, kebijakan reklamasi Pulau Benoa di Bali-Indonesia dijadikan sebagai objek analisa jurnal ini. Reklamasi Pulau Benoa disinyalir sebagai praktek de-politisasi isu publik yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Daerah Bali.Kata Kunci: Depolitisasi, Pemerintah, Elit, Publik dan Demokrasi.

Abstract

This article studies the political struggles of local society in South Lebak who want to split from Lebak District. The reasons are ineffective and inefficient public services, abundant natural resource potential, and political dynasty saturation. Therefore, they continue to negotiate their territorial areas. This article attempts to answer how territorial politics works in the process of territorial splits. The results reveal: first, the political elite used the issue of territorial splits for electoral matters. Second, territorial splits are motivated not only by a group of elites in South Lebak or local politicians, but also by the local people's desire for long-term prosperity and exceptionally effective and efficient public services. However, the interests of the local elite groups are more dominant. This study found that there is a link between the interests of society and the local elites.Keywords: decentralization; election; elites; politics of territorial splits; South Lebak.

Abstract

In defining citizenship, we need an pre-position that places everything in an equal position. This means that politics must be able to bridge the citizen's equal behavior. Under these circumstances, the possibility of political life becomes the key for understanding everyday political events. This paper discussing how citizens should struggle in politics in Indonesia to achieve equality for these citizenship. Modern democracy which requires general rationality becomes the problem that arises when the general rationality is transformed into a hegemonic that injures the rights of other citizens. The unique political life of the citizens is reduced by the common sense of rationality, At least this paper cultivates the exclusion behavior of citizens in daily life.

Abstract

COVID-19 is a concern in today's world, the large number of infected victims followed by a high death rate has made the country take large-scale social restrictions (PSBB). During the pressure of health and economic problems, there is a sense of solidarity among the nation's youth to share and support each other to face the impacts caused by this pandemic. This research focuses on to see how social solidarity is built by many Indonesians, both through social media and on a community basis. Phenomenology is used as the approach used in this study to comprehend a phenomenon comprehensively to know and interpret a phenomenon in-depth, not only as a visible surface. From what we can summarize, strengthening social solidarity appears in various domains and actors, including netizen activism through social media and other channels; the action of the conventional community (Non-Government Organization, Civil Society,) and the role of a traditional and Indigenous Peoples.

Abstract

Kebijakan yang diterapkan oleh Pemerintah Kota Cilegon terhadap Plastik berbayar dengan UU Pemda No. 18 Tahun 2008 yang berkaitan dengan Pengelolaan Sampah pada pasal 5 Pemerintah dan Pemerintah Daerah berwenang dalam menjaga, mengontrol sampah dengan tindakan dan wawasan lingkungan agar sesuai dengan maksud dan tujuan undang-undang tersebut. Sampah yang menumpuk dan hanya dibiarkan di tanah lapang dekat pekarangan rumah warga yang hanya diselesaikan dengan pembakaran sampahnya, atau dengan cara dekomposi. Penelitian ini akan melihat bagaimana efektifitas dan efesiensi suatu kebijakan yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah Kota Cilegon dalam meminalisir menumpuknya sampah plastik di Kota Cilegon dengan di terapkan sampah berbayar. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Kebijakan plastik berbayar memiliki dampak baik bagi pengelolaan sampah dan berdampak positif bagi lingkungan. Kata Kunci: Sampah Plastik, Kebijakan Plastik Berbayar, Kota Cilegon. ABSTRACT The policy implemented by the City Government of Cilegon on Plastic is paid by the Regional Government Law No. 18 of 2008 relating to Waste Management in article 5, the Government and Regional Governments have the authority to maintain, control waste with environmental actions and insights to be in accordance with the aims and objectives of the law. The rubbish that has accumulated and is only left in the field near the yard of the residents' houses is only resolved by burning the trash, or by decomposition. This research will look at how the effectiveness and efficiency of a policy implemented by the City Government of Cilegon in finalizing the accumulation of plastic waste in the City of Cilegon by applying paid waste. By using descriptive qualitative methods, this study found that the pay plastic policy has a good impact on waste management and a positive impact on the environment.
