Abstract

The objective of this research is to measure the significant of Municipal Enterprises (BUMD) performance. This research is very important for BUMDmanagement and executive committe of Purbalingga Regency for self-evaluation. Higher performance beside will give the more original income (PAD), it will fullfill theaccountability and transparency of public sector. Population of the research is whole of the BUMD in Purbalingga Regency. Wenuse the judgement method to obtain sampel. Base on that method, we took 3 BUMD, they are PDAM, Apotik Purbahusada and Purbalingga Ventura. The unaudited financial statement as data for measure the performance ratios are Return On Equity (ROE), Return on Investment (ROI), Profitabilty Ratios, and Likuidity Ratios. Result of the research show that the performance of BUMD based on the four indicators ratios have increased.

Abstract

This research is intended to evaluate the performance of public service from external perspective. Accordingly, the study approach employed is to get feedback from both individuals and business sector as consumers of the public service rendered by the local government. The aims of the study are to get data and information on the degree of the usage of public service, to identify factors influencing public dissatisfaction after consuming service, and to identify the causes of not consuming service. The study employs survey method and the sample size are 505 and 150 for non-business individuals and business sector, respectively. The sample saize of non-business individuals is assumed to be enough compared with that recommended by the Depdagri guidance. The conclusion drawn from the findings is the Local Government of Brebes needs to formulate several steps to improve all public service sectors. Generally, however, the proportion of the respondents’ satisfaction is higher than that of dissatisfied respondent. Many reasons that cause the respondent not using the service indicate the inefficiency of Brebes Government in providing the public services. The Local Government of Brebes also needs to show his commitment and real effort to handle a lot of real issues as stated in the general questions, so that the people’s attitude and trust to the Local Government of Brebes will increase.

Abstract

Sedimentasi pada Saluran Utama Bendung Jangkok merupakan permasalahan yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian, karena besar kecilnya muatan sedimen yang berpengaruh terhadap bangunan irigasi yang ada pada bendung tersebut.Seperti yang terjadi saat ini, saluran utama Bendung Jangkok mengalami pendangkalan akibat tingginya sedimen yang terangkut dari Bendung Jangkok.Material angkutan sedimen yang terbawa oleh aliran sungai dan material tersebut dapat terangkut kembali apabila kecepatan aliran cukup tinggi.Oleh karena itu perlu diadakan penelitian mengenai “Analisis Sedimentasi pada Saluran Utama Bendung Jangkok. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Saluran Utama Bendung Jangkok dengan metode pengukuran langsung di lapangan dan analisis laboratorium serta perhitunganangkutan sedimen dengan menggunakan metode M.P.M dan Einstein.Pengukuran langsung dilakukan di sepanjang Saluran UtamaBendung Jangkok.Pengujian laboratorium yang dilakukan meliputi pengujian gradasi butiran untuk memperoleh distribusi ukuran butiran, pengujian berat jenis material sedimen bed load, dan pengujian kosentrasi kandungan sedimen suspended load. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan metode M.P.M, angkutan sedimen pada Saluran UtamaBendung Jangkok yang terjadi sebesar 5,984 x10-3 m3/hari. Sedangkan dengan hasil analisis metode Einstein, angkutan sedimen sebesar 6,843 x10-2 m3/hari. Dari kedua metode tersebut, hasil analisis angkutan sedimen dengan metode Einstein lebih besar dibandingkan dengan metode M.P.M.

Abstract

We investigated the chameleon screening mechanism in Brans-Dicke scalar-tensor theory. We preserved the fundamental premise of the typical chameleon mechanism, which is that the field is huge in high-density environments but essentially free in low-density environments like the solar system. We discovered thin-shell solutions for a static and spherical symmetric body and demonstrated the model’s applicability to local data.

Abstract

In general relativity, a gravitational wave propagates with the speed of light, but inthe alternative theories of gravity, propagation speed could deviate from the speed of lightdue to the modification of gravity. Gravitational waves are influenced by modified gravityduring propagation at the cosmological distance. In this paper, we investigate thepropagation of a gravitational wave of the generalized Proca theories by consideringgravitational wave as the gravitational field propagates in spacetime as a wave perturbing flatspacetime. We show that the arbitrary functions G3, G4, and G5 can be the sources ofdeviation of the speed of the gravitational wave.

Abstract

Teknologi Building Information Modelling (BIM) saat ini telah menjadi salah satu teknologi terbaru dalam dunia konstruksi. Melalui SE Bina Marga nomor 11/SE/Db/2021 Pemerintah telah mewajibkan menerapkan BIM di sektor infrastruktur diantaranya proyek infrastruktur Jalan Tol. Berdasarkan hasil mapping yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti dari sumber data BPJT Kementerian PUPR, proyek Jalan Tol yang telah memulai untuk menerapkan Building Information Modelling pada tahap perencanaan masih sangatlah sedikit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variabel variabel yang menjadi penghambat proses penerapan BIM pada tahap perencanaan proyek Jalan Tol yang dilakukan oleh Konsultan Perencana. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda, didapatkan hasil penelitian bahwa salah satu faktor penghambat utama dalam penggunaan BIM pada tahap perencanaan antara lain faktor budaya Perusahaan dengan indikator permasalahan kurangnya dorongan dari atasan untuk melakukan penerapan BIM, kurangnya apresiasi dari Perusahaan atas pencapaian kinerja karyawan yang telah memberikan kontribusi dalam penerapan BIM, arah tujuan Perusahaan yang belum jelas dalam penerapan BIM, dan keengganan Perusahaan untuk melakukan transisi budaya kerja dari metode konvensional ke metode BIM

Abstract

The specific objectives and targets of this PkM activity are; Improving quality control of raw materials and production processes; Product quality improvement; Provision of production equipment facilities in the form of drying ovens to improve production quality and Assistance and improvement of partner business management. The approach used to overcome the problems faced by partners is the method of training, introduction, and application of appropriate technology, counseling and mentoring. The activity plan in the proposed PkM program includes; 1) Training on the technique of making ant sugar, 2) Technical training on using a drying oven, 3) Introduction and transfer of technology in the form of ant sugar drying oven, 4) Assistance in efforts to increase HR competency in terms of financial administration and quality management. The targeted outputs of this PkM activity are 1) The group has machine-based production equipment, 2) The group has better product packaging, 3) The group has more structured quality management capabilities, an established marketing strategy, and more organized financial administration.
