Abstract

Natural dyes is a coloring technique using raw materials from nature, the absorbed color will blend with the fibers in the fabric. Every plant has the potential to be fabric dyes. The ecoprint and ecodyeing technique is defined as the process of transferring colors and shapes to fabric through direct contact. The purpose of this study was to compare the results of the natural coloring technique of sweet potato leaf ecoprint with the use of chalk, alum and tunjung fixators. The natural coloration of ecoprint sweet potato leaves with chalk, alum and tunjung fixators, has several different results. From the results of the study concluded that the manufacture of ecoprint fabric with sweet potato leaves must use a fixing agent as a color locking agent and chalk fixator is superior to be used in the fixation process because if the fabric is washed it does not fade easily . Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan warna alam yang lebih beragam dari tanaman mangrove sebagai upaya menghasilkan batik warna alam yang lebih beragam. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan bahan zat warna alam (kulit batang, daun, akar, dan buah) mangrove. Alat, cara, dan waktu perlakuan sama. Perbedaanya terletak pada fiksator yang digunakan yaitu tawas, kapur dan tunjung. Proses pewarnaan kulit batang, daun, akar dan buah mangrove (Rhizopora Stylosa) tanpa mordanting dengan fiksator tunjung, kapur dan tawas. Hasil warna yang ditimbulkan menggunakan bagian kulit batang mangrove dengan fiksator tunjung cenderung berwarna abu-abu tua, dengan fiksator kapur cenderung berwarna coklat susu, sedangkan fiksator tawas cenderung berwarna coklat muda. Hasil warna yang ditimbulkan menggunakan bagian akar mangrove dengan fiksator tunjung cenderung berwarna abu-abu kehijauan, dengan fiksator kapur cenderung berwarna coklat kemerahan, sedangkan fiksator tawas cenderung berwarna coklat muda. Hasil warna yang ditimbulkan menggunakan bagian daun mangrove dengan fiksator tunjung cenderung berwarna abu-abu kehijauan, dengan fiksator kapur cenderung berwarna pink, sedangkan fiksator tawas cenderung berwarna coklat muda. Hasil warna yang ditimbulkan menggunakan bagian buah mangrove dengan fiksator tunjung cenderung berwarna abu-abu kehijauan, dengan fiksator kapur cenderung berwarna coklat muda, sedangkan fiksator tawas cenderung berwarna coklat muda.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce a calculation of the cost of batik production based on activity based costing. The object of research is the cost of production cost in making batik in Tobal Batik in Pekalongan. For the subject of this study were written batik products from Batik Tobal Pekalongan business which is located at Jl. Teratai No. 24, Klego, Pekalongan Timur, Pekalongan City, Central Java. This type of research is qualitative by studying more in calculations with the activity based costing system in determining the cost of production in the business of Tobal batik. Data collection method uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis method uses descriptive analysis by using the two-stage activity based costing system based on this research. It can be concluded that the determination of the cost of batik production in Batik Tobal by calculating the activity based costing system is Rp. 25,695,667, for the number of units produced 100 meters so the cost of producing batik per meter is IDR 256,957.

Abstract

Simbut fabric is part of history in the color barrier process that exists in Indonesia. Initially the sticking process of simbut porridge used glutinous rice porridge which was still warmly smeared with crushed bamboo stems. Dry glutinous rice porridge is easily cracked. The tool for applying it to cloth is still very simple. Because of that the decoration of simbut fabrics is also simple, not complicated. Therefore it is necessary to make research and innovation so that glutinous rice porridge (porridge simbut) is not easily cracked and can be applied with various tools. The purpose of this study was to apply simbut porridge, as a color barrier to the fabric using a wooden stamp canting. The method used is an experimental method. The experimental method is a study that seeks to find the effect of primary data applied to secondary data obtained under controlled conditions. The object of this research is glutinous rice porridge (simbut), where the attachment process uses wooden canting cap. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the simbut porridge could be used as a color barrier on the fabric by tasting technique. Keywords: Porridge simbut, Resist technique, Canting cap
