Abstract

This research was aimed to determine the effect of fortifying snakefish (Channa striata) protein concentrate in baked brownies on nutritional value and consumer acceptance with different concentrations. The research was conducted in two stages: 1) ​​the production of snakefish protein concentrate, 2) the production of baked brownies with addition of snakefish protein concentrate. The method used in this research was an experimental method, using a completely randomized design (CRD) non factorial. Based on consumer acceptance the results showed that the baked brownies fortified 25% of snakefish protein concentrate (B3 treatment) was the best treatment. Based on proximate analysis that the lowest water content (14.14%) also in the baked brownies fortified 25% of snakefish protein concentrate, while the highest water content (23.54%) was without addition of snakefish protein concentrate (B0 treatment); the highest protein content (22.46%) was in B3 treatment and the lowet protein content (7.22%) in B0 treatment; the highest fat content (17.11%) was in baked brownies fortified 20% of snakefish protein concentrate (B2 treatment), while the lowest (15.67%) was in B0 treatment.    Keywords: Consumer acceptance, baked brownies, protein concentrate, Channa striata.

Abstract

The increase in unemployment in Mandailing Natal Regency is caused by a mismatch between the qualifications of the workforce requested by the com- pany, the type of position and placement location that is less attractive to job seekers, and less competency of workers according to available positions. The Work Training Office (KLK) of Mandailing Natal Regency as one of the agen- cies that provide public services in the field of employment is expected to pro- vide easy information services, provision of facilities, and implement programs that support their careers in the future. The low quality of labor in Mandailing Natal District is a barrier to economic development. This is due to the low level of education and the level of knowledge of the workforce, making it difficult to find work that demands the quality of reliable human resources. Especially in the era of globalization, workers who do not have quality will have difficulty competing with those who already have quality. In this competition, it is certain that workers who do not have quality will be excluded. To improve the quality of the workforce, the City Government of Mandailing Natal District through the Mandailing Natal District Work Training Office (KLK) organized a job training program. The work training program at the Mandailing Natal District Training Office (KLK) involves the community as the main target that must be maximally empowered. This Papaer examines the effectiveness of work train- ing programs that have been implemented in improving human resources and especially in reducing unemployment in Mandailing Natal District.

Abstract

The main principle of islamic life is monotheism of Allah, namely an awareness that human life is a mandate from Allah. The word muamalat is the only word that literally means "doing each other" or reciprocity. Muamalah is etymologically the same and meaningful with almufa'alah, namely doing each other. The research objective is to analyze motorcycle financing transactions at PT Bank Sumut Syariah Panyabungan Sub-Branch as islamic law perspective. This research includes field research. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Sources of data in this study are primary and secondary data. The writing method uses the inductive method. The results showed that motorcycle financing transactions at PT Bank Sumut Syariah Panyabungan Sub-Branch based on a murabahah contract, the profit is immediately known. The benefits of murabaha are immediately known at the beginning when the murabaha transaction is agreed upon. Customers are given convenience in paying off motorcycle financing, so that customers feel lucky. Motorcycle financing transactions at PT Bank Sumut Syariah Panyabungan Sub-Branch is in accordance with islamic law, because this murabahah contract is a sale and purchase agreement of sharia goods, meaning that it is in accordance with islamic law. The profits obtained are not based on usury, but a profit-sharing system between the customer and the bank.

Abstract

APAR (Alat Pemadam Api Ringan) adalah alat yang digunakan untuk memadamkan api atau mengendalikan kebakaran. Ketersediaan APAR sangat diperlukan untuk mencegah kebakaran karena tidak semua tempat dapat menjangkau air dengan mudah dan memiliki air dalam jumlah yang cukup untuk memadamkan api. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Dalam penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa tingkat kesesuaian prosedur kebakaran sebesar 80%, dimana terdapat Standar Prosedur Operasional (SPO) yang belum terpenuhi yaitu seperti pemberitahuan awal saat terjadi kebakaran.  Selain itu, peletakan APAR yang dibuat di kantor BPBD Provinsi Sumatera Utara belum sesuai standar yang berlaku. Berdasarkan observasi, pengamatan di kantor BPBD Provinsi Sumatera Utara saat melakukam evaluasi terdapat penempatan APAR tidak sesuai dengan prosedur atau standar yang berlaku, karena peletakan APAR pada gedung I dan II tidak sesuai standar. Untuk itu di perlukan evaluasi pemasangan APAR di Kantor BPBD PROV SU Untuk memudahkan penanganan jika terjadi kebakaran di area kantor.

Abstract

Higher education must have a strategy to be able to compete with other universities. The good method had to be needed to find out the alternative strategies used to improve the competitiveness among higher education. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was the decision-making method to obtain alternative strategies that were suitable to the needs of the higher education according to the new paradigm of higher education management. The criteria used in this study were based on RAISE++. There were relevance, academic atmosphere, internal management, sustainability, efficiency and productivity, leadership, access and equity. The relevance had five sub-criteria; the academic atmosphere had four sub-criteria; the internal management had five sub-criteria; the sustainability had four sub criteria; the efficiency and productivity had six sub-criteria; the leadership had five sub-criteria; and, the access and equity had five sub-criteria. The alternative strategy for developing the competitiveness of higher education was through the questionnaires and contained 18 strategies alternative. These alternatives were classified through AHP method. The result of this study was that there were certain alternatives that must be considered for the higher education competitiveness e.g., the management quality, leadership, human resource quality, quality control and evaluation, and good Human Resources investment. These alternatives were regarded as a recommendation for higher education to determine strategies in developing higher education competitiveness.Keywords: Analytic Hierarchy Process, Higher Education Competitiveness, RAISE++

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss effect of inflation, exchange rate, and interest rate on the composite stock price index. The type of research used in this research is casual research. This study uses quantitative data with the type of time series data. Samples taken from 2018 to the end of 2021, in the form of monthly data, the data is secondary data that has been validated and issued directly from the official website. The method of analysis used multiple regression analysis. The results show that inflation has a positive and significant effect on the composite stock price index. Exchange rate has a positive and insignificant effect on the composite stock price index. Interest rate has a positive and significant effect on the composite stock price index.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat perlu diimbangi dengan peningkatan keterampilan sumber daya manusia, sehingga dapat memanfaatkan teknologi secara maksimal dalam berbagai kepentingan termasuk bagi warga atau aparatur desa dalam melakukan tugas pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Namun aparatur desa Labuhan Ratu Baru belum memiliki ketrampilan tersebut. Oleh karena itu dalam pengabdian ini kami melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada aparatur desa Labuhan Ratu Baru untuk meningkatkan keterampilan teknik praktis desain grafis. Saat ini belum banyak warga/aparatur desa Labuhan Ratu Baru yang memiliki keterampilan komputer, khususnya bidang desain grafis, sehingga proses pelatihan terkadang mengalami hambatan, namun hal ini tidak membuat patah semangat untuk terus belajar dengan menyimak penyampaian materi oleh narasumber. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan keterampilan, apartur desa Labuhan Ratu menghasilkan beberapa karya yang bagus dan kreatif.

Abstract

The facts show that the market share for Sharia financial industry products is still relatively small when compared to conventional financial products. The development of Sharia banking products and services that are competitive and based on the needs of the Indonesian people is a causality (cause and effect) that cannot be separated from reality. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to collect, evaluate, and compile research results that are relevant to innovation in Sharia financial products and services. The results of this research show several developments, including increasing institutional capacity and the availability of Sharia financial industry products that are more competitive and efficient, with one program increasing the availability and diversity of Sharia financial products, both in Sharia banking institutions, Sharia capital markets, and the Sharia non-bank financial industry.
