Abstract

Eco-enzyme is a natural liquid made from waste in the form of fruit peels. The manufacturing process is very easy, it only requires water, brown sugar, cane sugar and molasses as well as fruit peels that have become waste for the community. The purpose of this service activity is to provide training in processing waste into products that can be used for the community. The method of service activities is in the form of a demonstration training method. The training participants consisted of 20 people who joined the group of Mrs. PKK Gampong Kuala Langsa, West Langsa District, Langsa City. The results of this activity at the survey stage carried out by the service team obtained permission from Mr. Geuchik to carry out service activities in Kuala Langsa Village. The socialization stage is to determine the schedule of activities and the number of participants who are given the training. The implementation phase of the activity is that the team conducts training to make eco-enzyme products for PKK. The evaluation phase of the team monitors the extent to which the product has been produced from the eco-enzyme manufacturing process. The conclusion of the service activities from distributing community satisfaction questionnaires, especially mothers who joined the PKK group were stated to be satisfied with a score of 41%, so this activity had a positive and useful impact.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility and practicality test of the science literacy-based practicum module for science learning at SMA Muhammadiyah Kota Langsa. The research method used is education development (Education Research and Development) to determine the quality or feasibility of the module as a practical guide. This practicum module is analyzed the feasibility test by material and media experts consisting of biology and physics education lecturers, while the practicality test uses a questionnaire distributed by science subject teachers. The results showed that the IPA practicum module products analyzed consisted of four categories with a percentage value of 54.99% content feasibility, 60.00% language value, 48.33% presentation value and 66.66% graphics value. Furthermore, a practicality test was carried out which consisted of three aspects, namely the content aspect of 82.85%, the process of the value of 77.14% and the context of the value of 54.28. Based on the values obtained, the science practicum module is feasible and practical to use as a practicum guide.

Abstract

The development of augmented reality technology applications using gadget media can be used as a source of learning that occurs in cyberspace to become real. As for the purpose of the study is to determine the feasibility test and student response to the development of gadget-based augmented reality technology applications. The method in this research is a development approach or Research and Development (R&D). The subject of product validation was carried out by several experts, namely media experts, material experts and practitioners (science teachers). Furthermore, the subject of product testing was carried out by students of SMA Muhammadiyah Kota Langsa consisting of 20 science class students.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a valid practicum instruction module; the result of student assessments regarding the practicum instruction module; there are good results of students’ scientific process skills; there is an increase in students' scientific literacy; and student responses to the practicum instruction module. This type of research refers to the 4-D model. The research subjects are Even Semester students for the 2020-2021 academic year. The research was carried out at the Biology Education Study Program, Universitas Samudra. The research instrument consisted of validation sheets, observation sheets, test questions, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study consisted of validation data presented in the form of a percentage; student assessment of the practicum instruction module using percentages process skills data analyzed by N-gain score; learning outcomes were analyzed by N-gain score, and; student responses are presented in the form of a percentage. The results of the practicum module validation are categorized as good with a score of 87.5%; The results of student assessment of the practicum instruction module on product trials are categorized as good in terms of indicators of content feasibility, presentation feasibility, and language; The scientific process skills of students before and after conducting product trials of 0.63% are categorized as high; The scientific literacy ability of students is 0.56%, means it has increased; Student response to the practicum Instruction module is positive

Abstract

Etnobotani adalah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang pemanfaatan tumbuhan yang digunakan oleh masyarakat suku bangsa. Tumbuhan berkhasiat obat telah lama digunakan masyarakat tradisional, salah satunya masyarakat Suku Jawa di Desa Sukarejo Kecamatan Langsa Timur dalam penyembuhan berbagai penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada etnobotani tumbuhan berkhasiat obat berdasarkan pengetahuan lokal pada Suku Jawa dan mengetahui jenis tumbuhan berkhasiat obat yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Suku Jawa di Desa Sukarejo Kecamatan Langsa Timur Tahun 2016. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh KK Suku Jawa yaitu 225 KK (Kepala Keluarga) dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Purposive sampling, sehingga didapatkan sebanyak 15 responden sebagai sampel. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk mengetahui penggunaan tumbuhan berkhasiat obat yang digunakan Suku Jawa di Desa Sukarejo dengan wawancara, sedangkan metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis tumbuhan berkhasiat obat dari hasil wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat 20 jenis tumbuhan berkhasiat obat yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Suku Jawa di Desa Sukarejo, Kec.Langsa Timur yaitu kunyet, jae, kencor, temu lawak, pacar kuku, kemangi, jeruk nipes, kates, kelopo, jambu klutok, pisang monyet, lidah buaya, kapok, katuk, bluntas, sirih, beras, laos, bamban dan pace. Bagian tumbuhan yang digunakan sebagai obat terdiri dari Akar (8,33%), rimpang (20,83%), daun (45,83%), buah (20,83%) dan biji (4,17%). Jenis penyakit yang dapat diobati dengan tumbuhan berkhasiat obat tersebut yaitu penyakit kronik (15%), penyakit menular (25%), penyakit tidak menular (25%) dan perawatan kesehatan (35%). Berdasarkan analisis persentase jenis tumbuhan obat, maka tumbuhan obat yang memiliki nilai persentase tertinggi adalah kunyet dan kencor, masing-masing sebesar 93,33%, sedangkan analisis persentase bagian tumbuhan berkhasiat obat tertinggi yang digunakan adalah Daun sebesar 45,83% dan analisis penyakit yang diobati dengan tumbuhan berkhasiat obat yang tertinggi adalah perawatan kesehatan sebesar 35%.

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to provide appropriate technological tools to the home industry group in processing sugar cane water into ant sugar and provide knowledge to the community in processing sugar cane water into ant sugar. This service activity will later be given to the people of Sriwijaya Village, Kuala Simpang District, Aceh Tamiang Regency. So far, the home industry group uses manual tools so that it produces low quality ant sugar. The existence of appropriate technology machines will provide changes in processing in producing quality and clean ant sugar to be marketed. Appropriate technology machines are expected to produce more granulated sugar than before than using manual machines. This service activity has a positive impact on the home industry and the community in processing and producing ant sugar by using appropriate technological tools.

Abstract

The role of biotechnology is very rapid and broad in the aspect of fulfilling human needs, one of which is in the food industry. Biotechnology processes, both conventional and modern, cannot be separated from the role of microorganisms. Certain microorganisms are used in traditional food preparation through fermentation such as in the manufacture of yogurt, tape, cheese, soy sauce, yeast. Foods resulting from biotechnology that take advantage of the role of microorganisms and must pay attention to the critical point of halal. This needs to be considered so that each production process can be ensured to avoid contamination of non-halal materials. This product will later be used for Ms. PKK Bina Mufakat both for her own use and also as an entrepreneurial opportunity for the home industry. The problem of community service activities is that there is no group development in making biotechnology products, and there is no entrepreneurship development for PKK Bina Mufakat Gampong Bayeun. The method in service activities is a type of training method. The results of community service are the creation of a product that is useful and can be used as a home industry business opportunity.

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan  dilakukannya  penelitian  tentang  Pemanfaatan  Media Pembelajaran ICT sebagai Kegiatan Pembelajaran Siswa di SMP Negeri Aceh Tamiang adalah Untuk  mengetahui  perbedaan dalam pemanfaatan Media Pembelajaran ICT. Metode  yang  digunakan dalam  penelitian  ini  adalah  metode eksperimen  yaitu  True  Experimental Design Sampel penelitian berjumlah siswa sebanyak 44 orang siswa. Instrumen  yang  digunakan  yaitu instrumen tes. Instrumen  tes berupa tes kemampuan kognitif siswa (hasil belajar ) mata pelajaran  IPA.  Adapun teknik  analisis  data  yaitu  dilakukan  uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji beda, uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini adalah nilai 72,60 yang dimanfaatkan pada SMP Negeri 1 Manyak Panyed sedangkan nilai 66,92 yang dimanfaatkan pada SMP Negeri 2 Karang Baru. Adapun kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan media pembelajaran ICT, sering dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Manyak Panyed dari pada SMP Negeri 2 Karang Baru.Kata Kunci: Pemanfaatan, Media ICT, Pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga, lokasi dan pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada Rumah Makan Ayam Bakar Wong Solo Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif karena data penelitiannya berupa angka-angka dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik serta telah memenuhi kaidah-kaidah ilmiah yaitu kongkrit, obyektif, terukur, rasional, dan sistematis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pelanggan pada Rumah Makan Ayam Bakar Wong Solo Kediri. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 50 responden. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni dengan metode Purposive Sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner (angket), observasi dan wawancara. Metode analisis data dengan uji instrumen penelitian, uji asumsi klasik, regresi linier berganda, dan koefisien determinasi (R2). Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Pada variabel harga dapat ditarik kesimpulan apabila t hitung > t tabel atau 2,342 > 1,677 maka variabel harga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. (2) Pada variabel lokasi dapat ditarik kesimpulan apabila t hitung > t tabel atau 3,380 > 1,677 maka variabel lokasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. (3) Pada variabel kualiats layanan dapat ditarik kesimpulan apabila t hitung > t tabel atau 4,072 > 1,677 maka variabel pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. (4) Berdasarkan uji secara bersama-sama (simultan), dapat disimpulkan dari f hitung > f tabel atau 26,840 > 2,58 bahwa variabel harga, lokasi dan pelayanan secara bersamaan (simultan) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, yang berarti antara uji F hitung dan F tabel berpengaruh kuat dan saling keterkaitan antara variabel independen dan dependen, maksudnya harga yang ditawarkan murah, lokasinya strategis dan pelayanan mempengruhi kepuasan palanggan
