Abstract

Patient safety is a vital matter of a hospital. Reports related to Patient Safety Incident (IKP) continue to increase from 2018 to 2019 in two hospitals namely Abdul Manap Hospital and Raden Mattaher Hospital Jambi. The research aims to analyse the impact of the 4S-based clinical supervision clinic on patient safety implementation of nurse’s practiceat the Jambi Municipal public hospital in 2019. This type of research is quasy experiment with a pre-post approach test design with control group. A sample of implementing nurses amounted to 66 people. Sampling with proportional random sampling. There is a significant influence on the clinical 4S-based clinica lsupervision on the implementation of patient safety by the implementing nurses in the intervention group in the hospital of Raden Mattaher Jambi (0.012) and there is no influence on the application of safety of patients conducted by the implementing nurses in hospital Abdul Manap Jambi City (0.083). Hopefully, the hospital can make the 4S-based clinical supervision to be a routine activity that by making careful planning about the supervision activities performed so that supervision can work to objectives that have been determined.

Abstract

The vulnerability of COVID-19 transmission for Caregiver Professionals (PPA) who work in hospitals requires efforts to prevent it. One of the efforts implemented is the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). However, the comfort of wearing PPE has an influence on the performance of PPA in the hospital, especially the performance of PPA who works in the operating room. This influence starts from the dimensions of work quality performance, work quantity, work timeliness, effectiveness, work independence and work interpersonal relationships. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of the convenience of using personal protective equipment (PPE) on the performance of the surgical care provider (PPA) in the Padang City Hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a quantitative research with Cross Sectional method. The population in this study is PPA who work in operating rooms and provide services to COVID-19 surgical patients, totaling 252 people and the research sample as many as 155 people. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire on Convenience of Using Personal Protective Equipment Covid-19, Factors that Affect the Comfort of PPE and Performance During Use of Personal Protective Equipment. Test method Data collection with frequency distribution analysis using SPSS and SEM analysis PLS 3.0. The results showed that there were 5 factors that were significantly related to the use of PPE, namely effectiveness, interpersonal, independence, quantity and working time with p-values of each (sig value) < 0.05, namely 0.001, 0.000, 0.000,0.000, 0.012 and One factor that is not significantly related is the quality of work with a p-value (sig value 0.066 > 0.05.

Abstract

Sleep is a basic human need. Poor sleep quality can have an impact on students' health and academic performance. Nursing students at the end of the level transfer program have the risk of poor sleep quality due to the high academic task load coupled with other assignments besides lectures that can take up student break time. One of the factors that affect the quality of sleep is stress, and among students it is called academic stress. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between academic stress and sleep quality in the final year students of a level transfer program. The study was conducted at one of the campuses in the city of Padang using a correlation analytic research design with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study amounted to 64 students at the end of the level transfer program with the total sampling technique. This research was conducted from October to November 2019. Data was collected using the Pittsburh Sleep Quality Index and Student Academic Stress Scale research instruments. The results of this study indicate that nursing students at the end of the level transfer program experience poor sleep quality with high academic stress. Correlation analysis provides a linear and positive pattern of relationship between academic stress and sleep quality of nursing students at the end of a level tansfer program, with a very strong correlation strength level, which means that the higher the student's academic stress, the worse the quality of sleep.. It is expected that students can manage academic stress with stress management and time management, so as not to have an impact on the quality of student sleep.

Abstract

During the pandemic Covid-19, hospital must give the care more. It makes the medical staff condition changes, especially nurse. It makes the nurse got fatigue more, stressing of high-risk disease transmission, unwell work environment, lack of facilities and infrastructure and lack of communication among the medical staff. These condition influences the nursing work life quality such as: Work Life / Home Life, Work Design, Work Context, Work World. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between nursing work life quality and nursing life quality during Covid-19 pandemic at RSUD M. Natsir. The research design is quantitative descriptive by using cross sectional survey online. The population is all executive nurses who involve directly in Covid-19 patient care, namely 65 persons. The research instrument used questionnaire of quality of Nursing Work Life dan WHOQOL-BREFF. The data collection used frequency distributed analysis and SEM PLS 3.0. It’s gotten three dimension of nursing work life quality which is related with life quality significantly namely Work Design, Work Context and Work World with the value for each dimension 0,000, 0,025 and 0,019 means (significant value) < 0,05 while Work Life /Home Life dimension (significant value) s 0,497 > 0,05 with T statistic value 0,007 < T table 1,645 so this dimension does not have significant correlation with nursing work life. It is hoped the hospital management give more attention for work satisfaction, work burden, work communication, work image, salary, and safety during the duty in caring the patient of Covid-19.

Abstract

The implementation of e-Puskesmas can produce accurate and standardized report data so that health services can be effective and efficient so that the incidence of disease outbreaks in the community can be immediately addressed and addressed by health workers at the Sungai Penuh City Health Care. To analyze the description of supporting devices efficiency in the implementation of the e-Puskesmas information system. Descriptive quantitative, a sample of 55 units supporting the implementation of e-Puskesmas was taken using total sampling. The average hardware score of good e-Puskesmas was 74.5% and the average hardware score of e-Puskesmas was 25.5%. The average score of good e-Puskesmas software was 36.4% and the average score of e-Puskesmas software was not good at 63.6%. The average score of the complete e-Puskesmas data is 45.5% and the average score of incomplete e-Puskesmas data is 54.5%. The average score of the good e-Puskesmas network was 27.3% and the average score of the e-Puskesmas network was not good at 72.7%. It was found that the supporting devices for the implementation of e-Puskesmas had not been optimally updated at Sungai Penuh city health care. Evaluate and supervise the supporting devices for implementing the e-Puskesmas information system so that health services are effective and efficient.

Abstract

Stunting disebabkan multi faktor baik faktor internal (genetik, infeksi dll) maupun eksternal (sosio ekonomi, asupan makan, pengasuhan maupun budaya). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan sosio ekonomi dan keragaman makanan terhadap stunting pada balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sungai Puar Kabupaten Batang Hari provinsi Jambi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan cross sectional. Instrument sosioekonomi dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan skor keragaman makanan dengan food recall 24 jam dan Diet Diversity Score (DDS). Analisis data menggunakan chi-square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa angka kejadian stunting sebanyak 30,9%. Hasil analisis sosio ekonomi didapatkan sebagian besar pendidikan ibu yang ayah rendah dengan pendapatan terbanyak dibawah UMR. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara sosioekonomi (pendidikan orang tua dan pendapatan yang rendah) dengan kejadian stunting dan juga terdapat hubungan signifikan skore keragaman makanan dengan kejadian stunting.  Saran untuk meningkatkan program pencegahan stunting terutama mengenai peningkatan pengetahuan dan pendapatan serta pemberian berbagai jenis makanan kepada balita.

Abstract

AbstractNursing care documentation is a record and report in nursing setting that is useful for patients, nurse and medical team in providing services on communication accurately and completely in writing as nurse’s responsibility. An effective documentation could ensure the continuity of service, saving time and minimizing the risk of error. The implementation of nursing documentation is one way to measure , determine, monitor and conclude a nursing care service in a hospital. The implementation of nursing documentation in Pariaman Public Hospital shows are still low (49.5%) than their own limit 65%, while, according to the Ministry of Health, 80% as the limit. Nurse’s performance in the nursing care implementation was influenced by organizational factors (Leadership of head nurse, remuneration, supervision and coaching). The purpose of this study was to find out whether organizational factors related to nurses' performance in the implementation of nursing care in hospitals Pariaman. This study used cross sectional design. Population and sample in this study were 89 nurses in hospitals Pariaman, with simple random sampling. Instrument used questionnaire. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between leadership (p = 0.000), rewards (p = 0.005), supervision (p = 0.000) and coaching (p = 0.003). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat factor organisasi yang berhubungan dengan kinerja perawat dalam pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan di RSUD Pariaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah perawat pelaksana di RSUD Pariaman dengan jumlah sampel 89 orang, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel Simpel random sampling. Instrument yang digunakan angket. Hasil uji statistik bivariat chi-square menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna antara kepemimpinan (p = 0,000), imbalan (p = 0,005), supervisi (p = 0,000) dan pembinaan (p = 0,003). Rekomendasi bagi Direktur RSUD Pariaman untuk meningkatkan supervisi di setiap ruangan, kepemimpinan, imbalan dan pembinaan terhadap pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan kepada perawat pelaksana.Kata kunci : Kinerja, dokumentasi, asuhan keperawatan

Abstract

Dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan merupakan bukti pencatatan dan pelaporan yang dimiliki perawat dalam asuhan keperawatan yang berguna bagi pasien, perawat dan tim serta tanggung jawab perawat. Dokumentasi yang efektif menjamin kesinambungan pelayanan, menghemat waktu, dan meminimalisasi resiko kesalahan. Pelaksanaan dokumentasi keperawatan sebagai salah satu alat ukur untuk mengetahui, memantau dan menyimpulkan suatu pelayanan asuhan keperawatan yang diselenggarakan oleh Rumah Sakit. Data menunjukkan pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan masih rendah (49,5%), dengan ketentuan RSUD Pariaman mengunakan asuhan keperawatan adalah 65% sedangkan, menurut Depkes 80%. Abstract

Job satisfaction is an individual’s general attitude towards the work he does. Nurses’ job satisfaction will reflect the level where a nurse has responsibility and likes work. Selecting the work given or assigned will positively impact both the nurse herself and the patient. Job satisfaction is (job satisfaction) an affective or emotional response to various aspects of one's work. The factors that influence the job satisfaction of nurses are motivation, environment, and the role of the manager. This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional model approach. The population of this study was all nurses who served in the inpatient room of RSI Siti Rahmah Padang, with a total sample of 50 nurses. The sampling technique used is proportional stratified random sampling, which meets the sample criteria. Data was taken using a questionnaire containing the item, job satisfaction of nurses. The motivation variable is the dominant factor that affects the job satisfaction of nurses, with a value of = 0.007. It is hoped that the hospital will review the motivations that can increase the job satisfaction of nurses and the policies taken and make decisions.Keywords: Nurse Job Satisfaction, Motivation, Environment, Manager's Role

Abstract

The problem of families of traditional fishermen in Ulak Karang Selatan district is the highnumber of child victims of violence (98%) and 80% of perpetrators of violence are family. Thecause is the wrong perception of how to educate children. The goal is to form family andconscious counselors. Activities carried out from 5 September to 18 October 2017 include:screening families at risk of violence, education and the formation of child aware families andtraining of child conscious child counselors. The result is 76 families that become consciousfamily of 49 families in Ulak Karang Selatan subdistrict and 27 families in Ulak Karang Utarasubdistrict of North Padang subdistrict which has been dsikrining as family at risk of violence.The 76 families showed an increase in cognition and affection about parenting, how to detectchildren as victims of violence, how to prevent violence and how to handle child victims ofviolence with a low average of 40.5 to 80.83, while the average affection score increased fromthe average lowest 37.00 to 64.00. Based on the result of cognitive and affective improvement,10 counselors of Conscious Children's Family are 6 counselors in Ulak Karang Selatan and 4counselors in Ulak Karang Utara village. Recommendation of the need for further training ofchild conscious child counselors in the context of establishing kelurahan child affection so thatthe target of health promotion achievement can be improved.
