Abstract

This study aims to describe the characteristics of students in an educational institution. This study uses literature studies. The data obtained from various references such as books and scientific articles are collected and analyzed related to students. The study of Hadiths is also done as an effort to sharpen discussions related to learners. A qualitative approach is done by descriptive and argumentative analysis. The results of the study that students as one of the main components in education must be known the level of competence, characteristic differences, and rights and obligations. Educational activities conducted through the learning process must lead them to achieve a life goal that has been outlined in Islamic teachings

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi metode sorogan dan bandungan di Pesantren Nurul Hidayah; mengetahui hubungan metode sorogan dengan kemampuan membaca kitab kuning; mengetahui hubungan metode bandungan dengan kemampuan membaca kitab kuning; dan mengetahui hubungan metode sorogan dan bandungan secara bersama-sama dengan kemampuan membaca kitab kuning. Metode yang digunakan yaitu survei dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh santri di Pesantren Nurul Hidayah Kecamatan Kasemen, Kota Serang, Provinsi Banten yang berjumlah 60 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran angket, wawancara, dan tes. Data diolah dengan menggunakan Program SPSS versi 16.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi metode sorogan dan bandungan di Pesantren Nurul Hidayah dilaksanakan setiap hari yaitu setiap selesai salat wajib setiap harinya. Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara metode sorogan dengan kemampuan membaca kitab kuning yaitu sebesar 0,433; terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara metode bandungan dengan kemampuan membaca kitab kuning yaitu sebesar 0,442; serta terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara metode sorogan dan bandungan secara bersama-sama dengan kemampuan membaca kitab kuning di Pesantren Nurul Hidayah Kasemen, Kota Serang yaitu sebesar 0,576. This study aimed to determine the implementation of the sorogan and bandungan methods in the Nurul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School; to determine the relationship between a sorogan method and the ability to read the yellow book; to determine the relationship between a bandungan method and the ability to read the yellow book; and to determine the relationship sorogan and bandungan methods together with the reading skills to the yellow book. The method used was a survey with a correlation approach. The population and samples in this study were all students of the Nurul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School in Kasemen Distric, Serang City, Banten Province, which numbered 60 students. The data were collected through questionnaires, interview, and test. The data were processed by used SPPS Program version 16.0. The results showed that the implementation of the sorogan dan bandungan methods in the Nurul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School was carried out every time, i.e. every day after the obligatory prayer. There was a positive and significant relationship between a sorogan method and the ability to read the yellow book at 0.433; there was a positive and significant relationship between a bandungan method and the ability to read the yellow book at 0.442; and there was a positive and significant relationship between the sorogan and bandungan methods together with the ability to read the yellow book in the Nurul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School at 0.576. Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola asuh yang ditinjau dari sudut pandang Islami sebagai sebuah upaya transformasi nilai-nilai theologis dan internalisasi karakter mahmudah. Dalam studi ini menggunakan kajian kepustakaan. Data-data diperoleh dari berbagai referensi seperti buku dan artikel ilmiah dikumpulkan dan dilakukan analisis terkait dengan pola asuh islami. Telaah terhadap hadits-hadits dan ayat al qur’an juga dilakukan sebagai upaya mempertajam pembahasan pola asuh Islami. Pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan dengan cara analisis deskriptif dan argumentatif. Hasil studi bahwa Islam mengatur bagaimana pola pengasuhan terhadap anak, seperti apa kita memperlakukan anak, dan bagaimana membimbing dan mengarahkan, islam sudah mengaturnya didalam al-qur’an dan al-hadits. Pola asuh dalam perspektif islam adalah suatu kesatuan yang utuh dari sikap dan perlakuan orangtua kepada anak sejak masih kecil baik dalam mendidik, membina, membiasakan dan membimbing anak secara optimal berdasarkan al-qur’an dan al-Hadits

Abstract

Abstrak. Dalam percakapan sehari-hari, sering terdengar istilah profesi atau profesional, perlu diketahui bahwa profesi keguruan merupakan profesi yang sedang berkembang saat ini. Pemikiran tentang hakikat profesi keguruan kerap kali diperbincangkan. Bagi calon guru, pengetahuan tentang profesi keguruan harus benar-benar dimiliki untuk dapat mengembangkan cara berpikir kritis peserta didik di era globalisasi. Dengan demikian, mutu pendidikan harus sangat diperhatikan bagi para guru untuk menyelamatkan profesinya. Menanggapi persoalan tersebut, dalam mengembangkan berpikir kritis peserta didik di era globalisasi, guru harus bisa mengembangkan intelegensi dasar peserta didik. Unsur tersebut harus ditanamkan dalam diri peserta didik sekuat-kuatnya agar terpatri di dalam dirinya. Keterampilan berpikir kritis sangat penting bagi peserta didik karena dengan keterampilan tersebut, peserta didik mampu bersikap rasional dan memilih alternatif terbaik bagi dirinya agar bisa menghadapi era globalisasi dan tidak ketinggalan zaman apalagi sampai terbawa arus globalisasi. Di samping itu, untuk mempertahankan profesinya, guru juga harus memiliki kualifikasi pendidikan profesi yang memadai yang sesuai dengan bidang yang ditekuninya, mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik kepada anak didiknya, serta mempunyai jiwa kreatif dan komitmen tinggi terhadap profesinya. Dengan demikian, tantangan guru dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik di era globalisasi tidak akan menggusurnya pada posisi yang tidak baik.berpikir

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to investigate the improvement of students’ science process after implementing guided inquiry approach. This research was conducted at the sixth grade of elementary school of SD Islam Al Ikhlas Cipete in 2008/2009 academic year. This research used classroom action research. Moreover, the research instruments consist of lesson planning, students’sheet, and observation sheet. This research measures some skills such as observing, predicting, measuring, using devices, doing exercises, interpreting data, communicating, and summarizing. Meanwhile, data were obtained through test and observation sheet. Furthermore, from this research, there was only one aspect skill which has achieved the indicator of success. Three skills such as observing, measuring and doing exercises had achieved > 70% since the first cycle. Meanwhile, four skills such as predicting, interpreting data, communicating, and summarizing did not improve significantly. It caused by those skills were hard to be mastered by the sixth grade students due to those skills demand students’ high level thinking. Therefore, to improve those skill aspects, the teacher should be more intensive in guiding students in order to students be able to learn general concepts, scientific principles, and developing creativity in solving science problems individually. The average percentage for process skills improve 10.55% from 62.89% to 73.44% with category was good. Thus, students’ science process skills of the sixth grade of SD Islam Al Ikhlas Cipete could be improved by using guided inquiry approach.  Keywords: science process skill, guided inquiry Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa setelah diterapkan pendekatan inkuiri  terbimbing. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas VIB SD Islam Al-Ikhlas Cipete tahun pelajaran 2008/2009.Metode penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas.Instrumen penelitian menggunakan RPP, tes, lembar kerja siswa, dan lembar observasi.Keterampilan yang diukur meliputi mengamati, memprediksi, mengukur, menggunakan alat, melakukan pekerjaan, menginterpretasi data, mengkomunikasikan, dan menyimpulkan.Data diperoleh melalui tes dan lembar observasi.Dari hasil penelitian hanya ada satu aspek keterampilan yang mencapai indikator keberhasilan.Tiga keterampilan yakni mengamati, mengukur, dan melakukan pekerjaan sejak siklus 1 sudah mencapai > 70%, sementara empat keterampilan lainnya yakni memprediksi, menginterpretasi data, mengkomunikasikan, dan menyimpulkan tidak mengalami peningkatan.Hal ini disebabkan aspek keterampilan tersebut sulit dilakukan siswa kelas VI karena merupakan aspek yang menuntut siswa untuk berpikir tingkat tinggi.Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan aspek keterampilan tersebut hendaknya guru lebih intensif membimbing agar siswa lebih terbiasa belajar sendiri menemukan konsep-konsep, prinsip-prinsip ilmiah, serta mengembangkan kreativitas dalam pemecahan masalah-masalah sains. Rata-rata persentase keterampilan proses mengalami peningkatan sebesar 10.55% dari 62.89% menjadi 73.44% dengan kategori baik. Dengan demikian, keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas VIB SD Islam Al-Ikhlas Cipete dapat ditingkatkan melalui pendekatan inkuiri terbimbing. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Proses Sains, Inkuiri Terbimbing

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the ability of Technological and Pedagogical Content Knowledge of prospective teachers of primary school at science subject. Respondents of this study were prospective teachers of the primary school in UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten in the academic year 2018/2019 which took the Practice Program Course of Employment in the semester VII. The method used in this study is a type of survey cross-sectional design. The research instruments include a closed questionnaire, analysis of lesson plans, and observation sheet. The data obtained in this study is the description of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge at Science Subject. The results showed that the mean skill score technological knowledge prospective teachers primary school of 2.94 (good category), average skill score pedagogical knowledge for prospective teachers primary school is 2.86 (good category), average skill score content knowledge for prospective teachers of primary school is 2.66 (good category), average skill score pedagogical content knowledge prospective teachers of primary school are 3.02 (good category), average skill score technological content knowledge prospective teachers of primary school of 2.41 (a quite good category), average skill score of technological pedagogical knowledge prospective teachers of primary school is 2.65 (good category), average skill score of TPCK prospective teachers of primary school is 2.38 (category pretty good). Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by learning barriers and low understanding of the mathematical students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah on the concept of decimal fraction. The purpose of this research is to determine the effective learning technique for decimal fraction by using storybook. This type of research uses didactical design research which includes the stages of prospective analysis, metapedia didactic analysis, and re-prospective analysis. The draft of the design applied to twenty-eight students' sixth grade of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Hidayah Kadupandak Serang City. Observation sheets, interviews, and test comprehension were used as a data collection instrument for implementation execution. Didactic design using literature based math was made through one revision and it consist of eight steps. The results showed that the implementation of didactical design using literature based math can help students build their mathematical understanding of the decimal concept. It can be seen from the reduced percentage of students' errors in solving comprehension test questions from 71.6% to 11.6%. Therefore, for elementary teacher who has storybooks related to mathematical concepts are advised to try the eight learning steps developed in this study.Keywords: literature-based math, didactic designs, students' mathematical understanding.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hambatan belajar dan pemahaman matematis siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah yang masih rendah pada konsep pecahan desimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas teknik pembelajaran pecahan desimal dengan menggunakan buku cerita. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian desain didaktis yang meliputi tahapan analisis prospektif, analisis metapeda didaktik, dan analisis re-prospektif. Rancangan desain didaktis diterapkan pada 28 (dua puluh delapan) siswa kelas VI (enam) Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Hidayah Kadupandak Kota Serang. Lembar observasi, wawancara, dan tes pemahaman digunakan sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian. Desain didaktis dengan menggunakan matematika berbasis literatur dibuat melalui satu kali revisi dan terdiri dari delapan langkah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan desain didaktis dengan menggunakan matematika berbasis literatur dapat membantu siswa dalam membangun pemahaman matematika tentang konsep desimal. Hal tersebut terlihat dari berkurangnya persentase kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal tes pemahaman dari 71,6% menjadi 11,6%. Oleh karena itu, bagi guru sekolah dasar yang memiliki buku cerita yang berkaitan dengan konsep matematika disarankan untuk mencoba delapan langkah pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini.Kata kunci: matematika berbasis literatur, desain didaktis, pemahaman matematika siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe students' knowledge and understanding of life skills education; describe the readiness of students to enter the MEA; knowing the relevance of life skills education with the MEA pillars; and knowing the model of life skills education that can be applied to develop the competence of student graduates in entering the MEA. The research subjects were taken purposively as many as 30 students, representing each class. The results of the study show that students' knowledge and understanding of life skills and about the enactment of MEA are still very minimal. The level of sensitivity to the emergence of the dynamics of life skills education to prepare themselves to face the MEA is also still relatively low and the readiness of students to face the MEA also has relevance to the level of knowledge and understanding. For this reason, the strategies that need to be developed are: planning and development of relevant curricula, quality of learning by integrating life skills in all subjects, supporting facilities, foreign language skills, strengthening language laboratories and information and technology that facilitate student access to actual information , and expertise is needed from lecturers to students and apprenticeship programs. Abstract

THE EFFECT OF SCIENTIFIC LITERACY AND CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS ON MASTERING BASIC BIOLOGICAL CONCEPTS AbstractThe efforts to develop scientific literacy and critical thinking skills are indispensable in addressing technological advances in the 4.0 era, even though the effort is still low. This research aims to determine the effect of scientific literacy on mastering basic concepts of biology, determine the effect of critical thinking skills on mastering basic concepts of biology, and determine the effect of scientific literacy and critical thinking skills together on mastering basic concepts of biology. The ex post facto method was used as a research method with a sample number of 182 students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education of UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. Multiple regression techniques are used as data analysis.  The results showed a significant effect between scientific literacy on mastering basic concepts of biology, critical thinking skills on mastering basic concepts of biology, as well as scientific literacy and critical thinking skills together on mastering basic concepts of biology.  AbstrakUpaya pengembangan literasi sains dan keterampilan berpikir kritis sangat diperlukan dalam menyongsong kemajuan teknologi di era 4.0 meskipun upaya tersebut masih rendah. Tujuan riset ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi sains terhadap penguasaan konsep dasar biologi, mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan berpikir kritis terhadap penguasaan konsep dasar biologi, dan mengetahui pengaruh literasi sains dan keterampilan berpikir kritis secara bersama-sama terhadap penguasaan konsep dasar biologi. Metode ex post facto dijadikan sebagai metode penelitian dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 182 mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. Analisa data menggunakan teknik regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara literasi sains dengan penguasaan konsep dasar biologi, keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan penguasaan konsep dasar biologi, serta literasi sains dan keterampilan berpikir kritis secara bersama-sama dengan penguasaan konsep dasar biologi.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the influence of online media and the number of lecture assignments on the learning satisfaction of Islamic Education students. The research method uses ex-post facto, conducted on 138 Islamic Religious Education students in the academic year 2019/2020. The data is retrieved through a Google Form that is distributed to all students. Validity and reliability tests are carried out on research instruments. Normality and Homogeneity testing is performed as a prerequisite for further tests. The data is analyzed through the help of SPSS 16.0. The results showed that the number of assignments and online media simultaneously proved not to affect student learning satisfaction. Other factors affect student learning satisfaction. This research recommends that further research be conducted related to student learning satisfaction.
