Abstract

The difficulties encountered by the students to understand the material using Tools-Measuring Instrument (Measuring Tools) learning model Conventional can be seen on the learning outcomes of students who reach a level of mastery learning by 52% and 48% of student learning outcomes are not reached KKM that existed at the school is 70. This study aims to determine the effect of the learning model TPS student learning outcomes on the material using Tools - Measuring Tools (Measuring Tools) in class X SMK Karsa MulyaPalangkaraya Academic Year 2015/2016. This study uses pretest and posttest control group design. The study population was a class X Lightweight Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Motorcycle A. This study sampled by simple random sampling classes and class X results obtained as a class Light Vehicle Engineering Experiment with the number of 40 students, and the class X Motorcycle Engineering A as a control class with the number of 38 students. Data is collected using the test, which consisted of pretest and posttest. The collected data were analyzed statistically using the average - average pretest, posttest and the difference in the two - average. Based on the results of data analysis of pretest value, there was an average class experiment (53.36) and the control class (51.76). It can be categorized not good, because it has not reached the KKM. Posttest data value - average class experiment (81.30) and the control class (71.34) were meaning that the class has reached KKM with a considerable level difference between before and after the treatment given deberikan Treatment (treatment). From the results of the analysis showed that the results of class X student of SMK Karsa Mulya Palangkaraya Normal distribution. Based on statistical analysis we concluded that "There Influence Learning Model TPS (Think Pair and Share) on the material using Tools Measure (Measuring Tools) in class X SMK TKR Karsa Mulya Palangkaraya". Based on these results it shows that the effect of student learning outcomes that occur in class experiments with learning model TPS is better than than the control class with conventional learning models on the material using Tools Measure.

Abstract

The Drill (Exercise), Results Learning, Image Technique are the topic of study aiming to determine how the learning outcomes of students after doing the learning method Drill (Exercise) in class X Light Vehicle Engineering SMK 1 of Palangkaraya in Academic Year 2016/2017. The population for this study is the class X Light Vehicle Engineering SMK Negeri 1 Palangkaraya totaling 42 students. The collection of data is done using the test, which is in the form of the posttest and observation sheet consisting of student activity sheet, and the student’s questionnaire responses. Date were collected and then analyzed by using the average value of the posttest. Based on the results of data analysis posttest average value of 81.71, all and KKM students exceeds the value set by the school. From this research we can conclude student learning outcomes can be better if you use the learning method Drill (Exercise).

Abstract

In the material to carry out overhoul cylinder head course subject, students tend to practice their own and the role of a teacher which is considered as less optimal because the average grade of students of class XI TSM SMK-Negeri 1 Buntok at under KKM 65.00. In the Demonstration Method, the presentation of class is done in a logical order by implementing step by step before the students learn the information and advanced skills. The students first get the basic information and skills exhibited by the teacher or in other words a new skil. It can be delivered if the teacher has demonstrate how the information and skills are. This study aims to determine: (1) Student learning outcomes after applying the method of demonstration, (2) Student response to the method of demonstration learning. This Research Method is Quantitative Descriptive. The population of this research is Xgrade students of Automotive Mechanics of SMK Negeri 1 Buntok with 1 class (34 students). This study took a sample of 34 students Motorcycle Engineering SMK-Negeri 1 Buntok selected as a sample of research. The instrument used is the test of Coqnitif and Psychomotoric Learning, and Student Response, and analyzed using descriptive technique. The results of data analysis showed that the average value of students of class XI Motorcycles Engineering SMK-Negeri 1 Buntok after implementing the learning with the method of demonstration is 79.47. Based on the completeness of the test results that involve 34 students of class XI Motorcycles SMK-Negeri 1 Buntok classically this teaching is said to be thorough because of the percentage obtained 97% (33 people). It shows that learning by application of Demonstration Method reaches the completeness criteria. The required grade is ?85%. Based on the level of Achievement analysis in the learning process that is 91.66%, then this learning process is achieved in accordance with the criteria of the level of achievement of a learning process that is 80% -100%. The result of student response analysis shows that the method of demonstration is the right method used to carry out the learning to implement the cylinder head overhoul. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that the Demonstration Method as one of the alternative learning methods that can be used to convey the material to carry out overhoul cylinder head.
