<![CDATA[Abstrak Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah berdasarkan kondisi dilapangan yang mana sekolah yang seharusnya tempat bertemunya guru dengan siswa untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran tatap muka sehingga pembelajaran akan lebih baik dan efektif, namun semenjak mewabahnya virus corona atau covid-19 yang melanda di dunia dan juga termasuk di Indonesia yang menyerang berbagai sektor yang ada.  pendidikan juga menjadi salah satu yang berdampak dari adanya covid-19 ini. Sekolah menjadi sunyi, sepi, tidak ada riuh suara anak-anak dan guru yang ada disekolah. Metode penelitian dalam hal ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, 1) Observasi, 2) wawancara. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan mendapatkan keseimpulan bahwa media pembelajaran yang berupa aplikasi Google Classroom masih sangat efektif digunakan pada saat masa pandemi covid-19 saat ini terlebih karena proses pembelajaran jarak jauh. aplikasi goggle classroom bisa membantu dalam memantau keaktifan siswa, memberikan materi baik berupa teks, gambar serta video pembelajaran penilaian, pemberian skor, serta tidak membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Kata kunci: google classroom, media pembelajaran, guru Abstract the background of this research is based on conditions in the field where schools are supposed to be places where teachers meet with students to carry out face-to-face learning so that learning will be better and more effective, but since the outbreak of the corona virus or covid-19 that hit the world and is also included in Indonesia which attacks various existing sectors. education is also one of the impacts of this covid-19.
