Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the accounting creative thinking test on the learning outcomes of SMA Darussalam, to determine the sensitivity of the accounting creative thinking test to the learning outcomes of SMA Darussalam and to determine the students' responses to the accounting creative thinking test on the learning outcomes of SMA Darussalam. This research is a research on the development of Sugiono's modification through four stages, namely, test design, validation, limited trials and extensive trials. The instruments used in this study were creative thinking tests, validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The instrument was declared to have met the quality of the test. Testing the quality of the test for creative thinking in accounting by looking at the results of the validity, the distinguishing power of the questions, the difficulty level of the questions and the reliability of the questions. Based on the results of the calculation, it was found that the developed creative thinking test was less effective, because the average value of students' creative thinking skills had not yet reached a value of 60. The sensitivity of the creative thinking test was sensitive to student accounting learning outcomes with an average of 0.434. Student response to the creative thinking test developed was negative which was below 80%, which was 71.85%. So it can be concluded that the sensitivity of the accounting creative thinking test and the time it takes to complete the creative thinking test is effective and usable. However, in the creative thinking test category this is not effective because to answer the test requires a sufficiently deep skill, and this has not been mastered by the students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan bertujuan membuat inovasi taman baca dan taman bermain sebagai upaya peningkatan wawasan, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan anak di kelurahan Nelayan Indah. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan berkerjasama antara mahasiswa Dharmawangsa dan karang taruna. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah anak berusia 5-15 tahun di kelurahan Nelayan Indah sebanyak 2 lingkungan. Agar tujuan tercapai program dan metode pelaksanaanya yaitu: (1) memperbanyak buku bacaan, (2) mensosialisasikan pentingnya membaca kepada anak, orang tua dan masyarakat, (3) mendesain taman baca dan berfungsi sebagai taman bermain yang inovatif, (4) melatih dan membiasakan anak membaca buku bacaan dan (5) membuat modul matematika, modul Bahasa Inggris dan pelatihan keterampilan (6) Evaluasi. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan datang langsung kelapangan (offline) dan online. Kegiatan menunjukkan keberhasilan 80% hal ini dapat dilihat dari terbangunnya taman baca sekaligus taman bermain, terselesaikannnya modul matematika dan modul Bahasa Inggris, terlaksanakannnya pembelajaran keterampilan, terjalinnya kerjasama antara mahasiswa dan karang taruna dan respon positif orang tua dan masyarakat terhadap kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa dan karang taruna. Abstract: The activity aims to innovate reading parks and playgrounds as an effort to increase the insight, knowledge, and skills of children in the Nelayan Indah village. This activity is carried out in collaboration between Dharmawangsa students and youth organizations. The target of this activity is children aged 5 - 15 years in the village of Nelayan Indah as many as 2 neighborhoods. In order to achieve the objectives of the program and its implementation methods, namely: (1) multiply reading books, (2) socialize the importance of reading to children, parents and the community, (3) design a reading park and function as an innovative playground, (4) train and familiarize children read reading books and (5) make math modules, English modules and skills training (6) Evaluation. Activities are carried out by coming directly to the field (offline) and online. The activity shows 80% success, this can be seen from the construction of a reading park as well as a playground, the completion of the mathematics module and the English module, the implementation of skills learning, the establishment of collaboration between students and youth organizations and the positive response of parents and the community to the activities carried out by students and youth organization.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of critical thinking accounting tests developed on accounting learning outcomes for students at Dharmawangsa University. The problem is focused on the critical thinking skills of 6th semester students in answering the test questions for management accounting courses. In order to approach this problem, Sugiyono's modified theoretical reference is used. The data were collected through four stages, namely design test, validation, limited trial and broad trial. The data were analyzed quantitatively using SPSS version 23 application tools. The data obtained were in the form of answers to the test questions given, containing critical thinking components, namely reason, inference, situation and clarity. This study concludes that the critical thinking skills of undergraduate accounting students at Dharmawangsa University are still not good. This is indicated by the average value of student respondents' results on the readability of critical thinking tests in the limited and broad trials obtained by 48.47% and 60.66%, respectively.

Abstract

Pelajar merupakan penerus bangsa di masa depan, yang sangat diharapkan memiliki kualitas yang baik sehingga dapat membawa kemajuan bagi bangsa di waktu mendatang. Internet dibutuhkan oleh pelajar untuk mendapatkan atau memberikan informasi. Sehingga mempermudah pembelajaran selain mereka dapatkan dari sekolah maka pelajar juga dapat menambah pengetahuan dengan cara mencari dari internet (media sosial). Namun media sosial memiliki dampak positif dan negatif bagi pelajar. Dampak positif mereka mendapatkan informasi yang luas dan cepat untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran. Sedangkan dampak negatif mereka akan menyalahgunakan sosial media, tidak mengingat waktu karena kecanduan menggunakan jejaring sosial itu. Permasalahannya adalah bahwa banyak siswa/siswi SMK Negeri 5 Medan yang tidak mengetahui atau kurang mengetahui Undang-undang ITE (Undang Undang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik) dan banyak siswa/siswi SMK Negeri 5 Medan yang tidak mengetahui atau kurang mengetahui sanksi bagi yang melanggar Undang-undang ITE.Luaran yang akan dihasilkan adalah berupa penyuluhan, guna memberikan perlindungan, pencegahan dan penanggulangan penyalahgunaan media social bagi siswa/siswi SMK Negeri 5 Medan. Selain itu pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini hasilnya akan dimasukkan ke dalam jurnal ilmiah. Khalayak sasaran program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah 40 orang siswa/siswi SMK Negeri 5 Medan yang terdiri atas siswa/siswi kelas X, XI, XII. Kegiatan ini diisi dengan pemberian materi tentang pemanfataan media sosial dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu juga memberikan dampak positif dan negatif dari media sosial dalam pembelajaran. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pemberian materi mengenai akibat hukum penyalahgunaan media sosial.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze: (1) find out how the influence of the principal's leadership on the performance of vocational level teachers. (2) knowing how the influence of the work environment on the performance of teachers at the SMK level. (3) To find out how the influence of school principal leadership and work environment on the performance of vocational school teachers. This research is a quantitative study according to Sujawerni. Randomly, five schools were selected as research subjects, namely Medan Darussalam Vocational School, Setiabudi Vocational School, Galang Insan Mandiri Vocational School, Medan 3 Vocational School and Medan 5 Vocational School. The analysis test results show that: (1) the performance of SMK Darussalam teachers is influenced by the leadership of the school principal and work environment by 0.157 (15.7%) while 84.3% is influenced by other variables. (2) The performance of SMK Setiabudi teachers is influenced by the leadership of the school principal and work environment by 0.536 (53.6%) while 46.4% is influenced by other variables. (3) The performance of Galang Insan Mandiri SMKS teachers was influenced by the leadership of the school principal and work environment by 0.376 (37.6%) while 62.4% was influenced by other variables. (4) The performance of SMK Negeri 3 Medan teachers is influenced by the leadership of the school principal and work environment by 0.555 (55.5%) while 44.5% is influenced by other variables. (5) The performance of SMK Negeri 5 Medan teachers is influenced by the leadership of the school principal and work environment by 0.138 (13.8%) while 86.2% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

The background of this activity is the lack of reading books for children in Nelayan Indah Village and the inaccessibility of reading activities throughout the community in Nelayan Indah Village. The Read Cart program aims to facilitate reading activities to increase children's reading interest in Nelayan Indah Village by bringing useful reading books to various areas in Nelayan Indah Village.               The cart program is carried out with students in collaboration with the Youth Organization in Nelayan Indah Village with the target audience being children in Nelayan Indah Village. The method of implementation in this program starts with the initial survey and identification of problems in Nelayan Indah Village, then needs analysis and solutions are carried out to the existing conditions, then the program is compiled and implemented, namely (1) Socialization of the Making of Reading Carts and Social Media Accounts for Reading Carts; (2) Designing Carts by Youth and Student Organizations; (3) Making a reading cart which is carried out offline; (4) Socialization of the Making of Carts Read Social Media Accounts; (5) Reading Cart Activities in the Field and Procurement of Competitions, as well as evaluation.               The results achieved were the creation of 2 reading carts with the same model and variation, there were more than 300 reading books consisting of fairy tale books, novels, story books, and general knowledge books, the creation of reading cart social media accounts, there were a module on how to create a social media account for Karang Taruna, and the implementation of competitions for children in Kelurahan Nelayan Indah.

Abstract

Since the government ratified the Indonesian batik day, efforts to develop the business of batik craftsmen in Solo Raya have generally increased, however, the craftsmen have experienced difficulties in loan business. Creditors need financial statements which are the only reliable information in consideration for lending. Not infrequently because batik craftsmen throughout Solo Raya do not have financial reports, the craftsmen have not been able to get business capital from loans. The approach used in this Abdimas activity: 1). Lecture method. 2) Training Methods. Meanwhile, the data collection method used by the Abdimas Team on Financial Management is in the form of questions and answers and discussions with participants. Overall, counseling on the preparation of financial reports and financial management of MSMEs received a good response from various parties, both the perpetrators of MSMEs in Wijaya Kusuma batik, batik craftsmen and officials in Solo Raya.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) Kevalidan bahan ajar matematika yang dikembangkan dengan pendekatan kontekstual, (2) Kepraktisan bahan ajar matematika yang dikembangkan dengan pendekatan kontekstual dan (3) Keefektifan bahan ajar matematika yang dikembangkan dengan pendekatan kontekstual. Bahan ajar matematika yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah buku guru dan LKS (Lembar Kegiatan Siswa). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 5 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Thiagarajan, Semmel dan Semmel, yaitu model 4D yang telah dimodifikasi. Proses pengembangan tersebut terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: define, design, develop dan disseminate. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahan ajar matematika yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Hasil validasi ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar matematika yang dikembangkan layak digunakan. Kepraktisan dilihat dari hasil lembar observasi keterlaksanaan bahan ajar matematika, respon siswa terhadap bahan ajar matematika berada di atas 80%. Keefektifan dilihat dari uji coba lapangan dengan nilai ketuntasan hasil belajar sudah memenuhi kriteria keefektifan yaitu ketuntasan belajar klasikal ≥ 85%, kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran dalam kategori baik dan aktivitas siswa berada pada kriteria batasan keefektifan pembelajaran

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of the internet and its obstacles as a medium of learning communication in the implementation of learning activities by lecturers to students at Dharmawangsa University. This study uses a qualitative approach, with descriptive methods. The research was conducted at the Dharmawangsa University. The research informants consisted of 6 permanent lecturers and 6 students from 6 faculties. Data collection using interview techniques. The results showed that during the covid 19 period, with online lectures, lecturers and students used learning media provided by Dharmawangsa University in the form of a google classroom with limited facilities that could only convey written materials. To be able to interact directly in the form of oral and video lecturers using Whatsapp media. The obstacles faced by lecturers were problems with the internet network which was sometimes unstable and internet quota, which was also experienced by students. The conclusion of the research on the lecture process using internet media as a medium of learning communication has been able to fulfill online lectures according to the set schedule, it's just that there are still many weaknesses faced in terms of providing internet media facilities so that the lecture process does not run optimally.
