<![CDATA[Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangani oleh permasalahan kinerja yang terjadi di Institusi Polri khususnya di Satuan Lalu-lintas. Reseacrh dari WHO menunjukkan bahwa Kinerja Institusi Polri khususnya Satuan Lalu-lintas belum optimal. Kompetensi dan Integritas digunakan sebagai variabel bebas, sedangkan kinerja sebagai variabel terikat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh kompetensi dan integritas terhadap tingkat kinerja personel Satuan Lalu-lintas Polres Cilacap. Beberapa peneliti terdahulu Rizal, dkk. (2013) dan Zaim, Fatif, dan Faruk (2013) menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif kompetensi terhadap kinerja. Disisi lain, Lotuni, dkk (2014) dan Erkutlu dan Chafra (2015) menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif integritas terhadap kinerja. Sebelum dilakukan penelitian, dilaksanakan Pilot Project terhadap 30 personel Satuan Sabhara Polres Cilacap. Penelitian ini melakukan survei pada seluruh personel Satuan Lalu-lintas Polres Cilacap yang berjumlah 104 orang. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian terapan pada permasalahan kinerja di Polres Cilacap dengan cross-sectional. Analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan menggunakan program AMOS. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kompetensi dan integritas sama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja Satuan Lalu-lintas Polres Cilacap. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut terhadap sampel yang lebih besar dengan melibatkan seluruh fungsi kepolisian sehingga model SEM yang didapat akan lebih baik. This research is motivated by performance issues that occur at the National Police Institution, especially at the Traffic Unit. Reseacrh from WHO shows that the performance of Polri Institutions especially the Traffic Unit is not optimal. Competence and Integrity are used as independent variables, while performance is the dependent variable. This study aims to examine the effect of competence and integrity on the performance level of the Cilacap Police Traffic Unit personnel. Previous researchers Rizal et al. (2013) and Zaim, Fatif, and Faruk (2013) showed the positive influence of competence on performance. On the other hand, Lotuni, et al (2014) and Erkutlu and Chafra (2015) showed a positive effect of integrity on performance. Prior to the research, a Pilot Project was carried out on 30 personnel from the Cilacap Regional Police Station. This study conducted a survey of all 104 Cilacap Police Traffic Unit personnel. The design of this study is applied research on performance problems in the Cilacap District Police with cross-sectional design. The analysis in this study uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using the AMOS program. The results of this study are that competence and integrity have a positive effect on the performance of the Cilacap Regional Police Traffic Unit. The recommendation of this research is to conduct further research on a larger sample involving all police functions so that the SEM model obtained will be better.]]>
