Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design the monitoring system to observe the growth of Chili plant that is integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT) with the power source coming from solar panels. Important variables to support plant growth are soil moisture, ambient temperature as well as the right time and duration of watering. Measurement of light intensity is carried out by the BH1750 sensor. The measurement results of the sensor will be displayed on the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) and can be accessed via an Android-based application. The result of testing the light intensity monitoring tools on chili plants showed good accuracy. The monitoring system that has been designed is equipped LCD that show variable result.

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). Coronavirus is a dangerous pathogen that affects both humans and animals. Symptoms and indicators of COVID-19 infection include fever, cough, and shortness of breath, which are common in respiratory illnesses. COVID-19 has spread globally with high mortality and morbidity rates. Prothrombin Time (PT), Activated Prothrombin Thromboplastin (APTT), and D-Dimer parameters are blood tests to evaluate the coagulation status of COVID-19 patients, all these parameters increased in COVID-19 patients. This study aims at determininig the levels of D-Dimer, PT, and APTT in COVID-19 patients. Clinical and laboratory records were retrospectively reviewed from 100 cases of COVID-19 admitted to hospitals. This study used a a cross-sectional, descriptive, secondary data analysis design. The sample included patients from the Bhayangkara TK. I R.Said Sukanto Hospital between April-July 2021. The sample is a COVID-19 patient who was treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), worsened, and given heparin. An independent variable is the administration of intravenous heparin at prophylactic doses. Dependent variables are D-Dimer, PT, and APTT values. The collected data is processed using Microsoft Office Excel and then being analyzed. D-Dimer, PT, and APTT levels in COVID-19 patients were initially high or increased after heparin administration decreased or became normal. In conclusion, there was a decrease in D-dimer levels, PT values, and APTT after administration of intravenous heparin at prophylactic doses.

Abstract

Garbage is a problem that must be handled properly. Currently, technology and information are also used to assist waste management, namely the Smart Trash Bin. In this research, the design and construction of the Mobile Smart Trash Bin is carried out. The design of this smart trash bin not only has an automatic function to open and close the trash can, but also has a mobile function that allows the trash can to move closer to the person who is going to throw garbage. A smart trash bin mobile robot system is designed using a photodiode sensor as a line reader (track robot) and a servo motor is used to open and close the trash can. In addition, Bluetooth HC05 is used to activate the robot via voice commands from an android smartphone. The mobile robot smart trash bin runs according to the system designed.  Sampah merupakan permasalahan yang harus mendapatkan penangan yang tepat. Saat ini, teknologi dan informasi juga digunakan untuk membantu pengelolaan sampah yaitu dengan adanya tempat sampah pintar (Smart Trash Bin). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan dan pembuatan Mobile Smart Trash Bin. Rancangan smart trash bin ini tidak hanya memiliki fungsi otomastiasi buka tutup tempat sampah tetapi juga dilengkapi fungsi mobile yng memungkinkan tempat sampah untuk bergerak mendekati orang yang akan membuang sampah. Dirancang suatu sistem mobile robot smart trash bin dengan menggunakan sensor fotodioda sebagai pembaca garis (track robot), motor dc sebagai penggerak mundur maju robot dan motor servo digunakan untuk membuka dan menutup tempat sampah. Selain itu, Bluetooth HC05 digunakan untuk mengaktifkan robot melalui perintah suara dari smartphone android. Mobile robot smart trash bin berjalan sesuai dengan sistem yang dirancang.

Abstract

Psoriasis dan vitiligo merupakan kelainan pada kulit yang ditandai dengan berkembangnya plak pada kulit untuk psoriasis dan dipigmentasi kulit untuk vitiligo. Fototerapi NB-UVB dianggap sebagai metode pengobatan psoriasis dan vitiligo yang lebih efektif dan lebih aman dibanding metode yang lain. Penggunaan alat fototerapi konvensional yang ada di rumah sakit atau pusat dermatologi memiliki banyak kelemahan di nataranya biaya yang mahal dan tidak efisien. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dibutuhkan sebuat alat fototerapi NB-UVB portable sehingga terapi menjadi lebih efisien dan murah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang alat fototerapi NB-UVB 311 nm yang dilengkapi kontrol jarak dan waktu agar terapi menjadi lebih efektif. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui beberpa tahap yaitu pembuatan blok diagram, perancangan rangkaian perangkat keras (pengaturan waktu, catu daya, driver relay, display), perencanaan program arduino dan pengujian sistem. Alat fototerapi NB-UVB portable untuk penyakit psoriasis dan vitiligo yang sudah dibuat dapat bekerja dengan baik dan sesuai dengan perencanaan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem monitoring untuk mengamati pertumbuhan tanaman cabai yang terintegrasi Internet of Things (IoT) dengan sumber daya listrik berasal dari panel surya. Variable penting untuk menunjang pertumbuhan tanaman adalah kelembaban tanah dan suhu lingkungan serta waktu dan lama penyiraman yang tepat. Pengukuran suhu dan kelembaban lingkungan dilakukan dengan menggunakan sensor DHT11. Sedangkan untuk pengukuran kelembaban tanah menggunakan sensor YL-69. Hasil pengukuran dari kedua sensor tersebut kemudian akan di tampilkan pada LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) dan dapat di akses melalui aplikasiberbasis android. Hasil pengujian alat monitoring suhu dan kelembaban tanah pada tanaman cabai menunjukkan hasil pengukuran dengan akurasi yang baik. Sistem monitoting pertumbuhan tanaman  cabai yang dibuat dilengkapi dengan LCD yang menampilakn hasil pengukuran terhadap variable yang diamati.

Abstract

Pendahuluan : Penyakit Virus Corona atau Corona Virus Diseases 19 yang disebabkan oleh virus SARS-CoV2 awalnya hanya dinyatakan sebagai penyakit yang menyerang sistem pernapasan, namun diketahui dampak dari infeksi Virus Corona dapat menyebabkan kerusakan multi organ karena timbulnya fenomena badai sitokin yang menyebabkan inflamasi masif termasuk pada aliran darah yang menuju ke berbagai organ penting didalam tubuh. Maka dari itu, setiap pasien yang diisolasi di Rumah Sakit, dokter selalu memantau perkembangan penyakit dan keberhasilan terapi melalui hasil tes laboratorium. Laju endap darah adalah jenis tes darah yang mengukur seberapa cepat sel darah mengendap. Dalam keadaan normal, sel eritrosit tidak mudah mengendap dalam waktu cepat. Hal ini bisa reaksi terhadap infeksi virus atau mikroorganisme lain yang masuk ke dalam tubuh. Metode : Jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel adalah pasien positif COVID-19 dan pasien yang telah sembuh dari COVID-19 berjumlah 96 data pasien terdiri dari 30 pasien berjenis kelamin perempuan dan 66 pasien berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Hasil : Berdasarkan uji univariat, didapatkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pasien yang sedang terinfeksi COVID-19 sebanyak 80,1% diantaranya adalah 53,1% berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan 27,1% berjenis kelamin perempuan memiliki nilai laju endap darah yang meningkat. Kesimpulan : Adanya hubungan antara nilai laju endap darah pada pasien yang sedang terinfeksi COVID-19 di RS Bhayangkara Tk.I R Said Sukanto. Kata Kunci: Laju Endap Darah, COVID-19

Abstract

One of the industrial sectors that continues to increase is the food and beverage industry. The big challenge facing the food and beverage industry is short product shelf life due to degradation by microorganisms. UVC light can be used to sterilize food from microorganisms to extend the shelf life of food products. UVC light have long been used to sterilize drinking water and food products, however in Indonseia, it is rarely used to sterilize food products. In this study, a portable sterilizer was designed and made to kill microorganisms in food products so that their shelf life would be longer. This research was conducted in several step : system design, instrument making, subsystem testing and whole systems testing. Portable sterilizer is equipped with light intensity settings, exposure time, ultrasonic sensor and mass sensor that is displayed on the Touchscreen LCD. Light intensity and exposure time setting is needed to determine the optimal sterilization process. The measurement results shows good accuracy.

Abstract

Demam tifoid adalah penyakit sistem pencernaan yang berada di usus halus dan disebabkan oleh bakteri Salmonella typhi. Gejala penyakit ini yaitu demam berkepanjangan, bakteriemia, dan invasi bakteri serta multiplikasi ke dalam sel-sel fagosit mononuklear dari hati, limpa, kelenjar getah bening, usus, dan peyer’s patch. Diagnosa demam tifoid melalui pemeriksaan utama seperti pemeriksaan TUBEX dan pemeriksaan follow up seperti pemeriksaan SGPT dan SGOT. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kadar Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transaminase (SGPT) dan Serum Glutamic Oxaloacetic Transaminase (SGOT) pada penderita demam tifoid berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan usia. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif dengan desain cross-sectional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan memperoleh 82 sampel. Pengolahan data menggunakan software IBM SPSS Statistics 25 dengan uji univariat. Hasil penelitian dari 82 orang terdiri dari 41 laki-laki (50%) dan 41 perempuan (50%). Usia anak (5-11 tahun) sebanyak 3 orang (3,7%), remaja (12-25 tahun) sebanyak 32 orang (46,3%), dan dewasa (26-45 tahun) sebanyak 47 orang (57,3%). Kadar SGPT tinggi sebanyak 44 orang (53,7%) dan normal sebanyak 38 orang (46,3%). Kadar SGOT tinggi sebanyak 46 orang (56,1%) dan normal sebanyak 36 orang (43,9%). DOI : 10.35990/mk.v5n3.p275-285

Abstract

Background: Diabetes mellitus is caused by the pancreas not being able to produce the insulin hormone that regulates glucose in the body, resulting in hyperglycemia which is associated with long-term damage, dysfunction, failure of various organs (eyes, kidneys, nerves, heart, and blood vessels). Diabetes is included as a non-communicable disease but has a priority for follow-up because the number of cases and its prevalence has continued to increase over the last few decades. Examination of diabetes mellitus can be done with blood samples and urine samples. Examination of diabetes mellitus with urine samples was carried out using the dipstick method to determine the parameters of urine glucose and urine specific gravity. Objective: To determine the correlation of urine glucose and urine specific gravity in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods: Correlative analytic study with a cross-sectional approach. This study was conducted in January-September 2021 with samples of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients who examined urine glucose and urine specific gravity with the dipstick method. Results: The results of the correlation test of urine glucose and urine specific gravity in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus are 0.065 (> 0.05) which means that there is no correlation between urine glucose and urine specific gravity in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The results of the correlation coefficient of urine glucose and specific gravity urine in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus is 0.189 which is included in the range of weak correlation coefficients. Conclusion: Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is no significant correlation between urine glucose and urine specific gravity in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

A greenhouse is one form of optimal environmental controlled monitoring for plant growth. Light intensity, air temperature, humidity, wind speed, and heat transfer, and mass transfer are microclimate parameters that are generally observed. Greenhouses can be integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT) to facilitate monitoring called smart greenhouses in real-time. Previously, a solar-powered IoT integrated plant monitoring system has been designed but its effectiveness is not yet known. The purpose of this study was to test the smart greenhouse system for plant cultivation including watering and providing light by utilizing solar panels as a source of electrical energy for the system. The research was carried out in several stages, namely system design, timer testing, pump testing, and watering and lighting. The effectiveness of the greenhouse system has been successfully tested. The test results show good accuracy. There is a slight difference between the test results and the comparison. However, the difference is still tolerable. The smart greenhouse systems can be used for plant cultivation.Â
