Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of developing teaching materials in the form of electronic modules based on Betawi culture both in material content and in presentation. The method of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the type of research is the 4-D (Four-D)  The results showed that the e-module developed met the appropriate criteria based on the assessment of 6 validators on aspects including aspects of the content of the material, presentation, conformity of e-modules with the concept of Ethnomatematics, effectiveness of media on learning strategies, physical appearance, and language. Then the students' responses to the e-module showed a positive response with very good criteria based on sample assessment on the aspects of e-module display, presentation and interest

Abstract

The study aimed to describe the state of early poblem solving, the effectiveness of learning, and discription the application of the learning to had work character and problem solving mathematics students. The research is the kind of research concurerent embedded. Technic the data with using interviews, observation, and tests. Technic data analysis using analysis discriptif and statistical tests influence regression, the appeal, and test an increase in the gain. The results of the study showed that the initial conditions problem solving students average be low; effectiveness of indicated by the average capability problem solving mathematical students experiment has reached KKM that is above 74,5%, the ability problem solving mathematical class experiment better than class control, hard work and skill problem solving mathematical students have had a positive impact of the ability of mathematical problem soling students, with big the influence of 88,7%, increased capacity problem solving mathematical class experiment higher than class control; the results of a description of this research is improving hard work students; skills literacy mathematics; and ability problem solving mathematical stdents with a score of the gain 0,59; 0,66; 0,70.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the improvement mastery of concept, scientific attitude, and science process skill in the learning of structured and guided inquiry learning and analyzed the difference. This research was conducted in SDN Purwoyoso 02 and 03 with quasy-experiment method, experiment class 1 using structured inquiry and exeperiment class 2 using guided inquiry learning model. Data collection techniques used 20 multiple choice tests, 5 indicators of scientific attitude observation and 5 indicators observation of science process skills. Data analysis techniques use N-gain and independent samples t-test. The study showed the following results: (1) there is an increased of mastery of concepts, scientific attitudes and scientific process skills students in structured inquiry class with medium category gain. (2) there is an increase of mastery of concepts, scientific attitudes with and science process skills students in guided inquiry class with medium category gain. (3) there is a difference of mastery of concept, scientific attitude and science process skill between structured and guided inquiry class students. The result of mastery of scientific concepts, scientific attitudes, and inquiry skills of inquiry classes is higher than the structured inquiry class. The results of this study can be concluded that inquiry learning is better guided than structured inquiry.
