Abstract

This article aims to discuss drug abuse in the perspective of Christian religious education. Narcotics are basically good drugs when used according to the dosage or doctor's recommendations for health. However, if someone uses it without medical indication or without a doctor's instructions because of the disease or other things recommended by the doctor, it will cause addiction / addiction and dependence popularly known as narcotics. In this case, without the indication (use) recommended by a doctor or an improper dose it will be dangerous to human health and can even cause sudden death. Bible neither directly addresses the topic of drug abuse nor mentions literal prohibition on narcotics and their use. However, it does not mean drug abuse is allowed. In Christian faith, believers must abstain from drugs because drugs can damage both physically and spiritually. In Corinthians 7: 1, it explains "purify yourselves from all things that can defile body and spirit, so that your position may be perfect in the fear of God". This means that as a Christian, he must protect and purify his body so that he does not sin. Thus, drugs can damage the body, both soul and mind, so drug use is not allowed. In this article, the author uses literature review and literature research methods, utilizing written ideas as a source of emphasis on the interpretation and analysis of the meaning of the.

Abstract

Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a condition of brain damage or disorder that causes a person to have impaired movement. Under certain conditions, the situation can also interfere with the ability to hear, see, taste and speak, even mentally. It generally occurs in children or is a condition that is present at birth. From 1000 births, there is a 1-5 chance of a child being born with CP. With this fact, parents need to be made aware, nurtured and assisted in dealing with, especially if they have children with such conditions. For this reason, this socialization activity aims to raise awareness and provide knowledge about what CP is and how to deal with it, including giving spiritual advice to the parents. The activity was given to Christian families in the Special Children's Service Association (Persekutuan Anak Istimewa-PAKIS) of Batam, all of whom are parents with children with disabilities. The result of this community service is the delivery of material about CP and its handlers in the form of physical therapy including spiritual advice. The results of this socialization are useful so that parents in the PAKIS fellowship can increase their knowledge, insight, experience and motivation in dealing with such conditions.AbstrakCerebral Palsy (CP) merupakan kondisi gangguan otak yang menyebabkan seseorang terganggu gerakannya. Dalam kondisi tertentu, keadaan ini bisa juga mengganggu kemampuan mendengar, melihat, mengecap dan berbicara, bahkan juga mengganggu mental. Hal ini umumnya terjadi pada anak-anak atau merupakan kondisi yang dibawa sejak lahir. Dari 1000 kelahiran, ada 1-5 kemungkinan anak terlahir dengan CP. Dengan fakta tersebut, para orang tua perlu disadarkan, dibina dan dibantu dalam menghadapi dan menangani, jika memiliki anak dengan kondisi demikian. Atas hal tersebut, kegiatan sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk menyadarkan dan memberikan pengetahuan tentang apa itu CP dan bagaimana penanganannya, termasuk juga memberi siraman rohani terhadap para orang tua tersebut. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini diberikan kepada keluarga-keluarga Kristen dalam Persekutuan Pelayanan Anak Istimewa (PAKIS) yang ada di pulau Batam yang kesemuanya merupakan orang tua dengan anak disabilitas. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adaah penyampaian materi tentang CP dan penangannya dalam bentuk terapi fisik termasuk siraman rohani. Hasil dari sosialisasi ini bermanfaat sehingga para orangtua dalam persekutuan PAKIS bisa meningkat pengetahuan, wawasan, pengalaman dan motivasi dalam menghadapi kondisi-kondisi demikian.

Abstract

This paper is a theological affirmation of the concept of Christ's redemption in Pentecostal theology. This article aims to answer misconceptions about the concept and results of Christ's atoning work on the cross for believers. The method that the authors use to achieve the objectives in this study is to use a descriptive qualitative approach. Through the process of study and analysis, the writer concludes the following points: First, the redemptive work of Christ is a manifestation of God's grace to sinful humans. Second, Christ's death was the act of paying the penalty for human sin. Third, the terms used in redemption affirm that everyone is free from all the wrath of God. Fourth, Christ's redemptive work reconciles man to God, so that every believer has the assurance of eternal life.

Abstract

Fulfilment of children's rights needs to be improved so that national development can run smoothly, for that the Regional Child Supervision and Protection Commission (hereinafter abbreviated as KPPAD) carries out its function in supervising children's problems, especially issues of sexual abuse. It is clear that supervision will determine the function of the KPPAD in achieving the goals and plans that must be realized as well as making policies that must be socialized to the public. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The purpose of the study was to determine the benefits and the inhibiting factors for implementing the benefits of the KPPAD Commission on Victims of Child Sexual Harassment in the Anambas Islands Regency. The final result of the study stated that the function of the KPPAD was still not optimal, namely the lack of socialization and the slow process of resolving cases.AbstrakPemenuhan hak-hak anak perlu ditingkatkan agar pembangunan nasional dapat berjalan dengan lancar, untuk itu Komisi Pengawasan dan Perlindungan Anak Daerah (untuk selanjutnya disingkat KPPAD) melaksanakan fungsi nya dalam mengawasi permasalahan anak terutama permasalahan pelecehan seksual. Hal ini Jelas bahwa pengawasan sangat menentukan fungsi KPPAD dalam usaha pencapaian tujuan dan rencana yang harus direalisasikan serta pembuatan kebijaksanaan yang harus disosialisasikan kepada publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui manfaat dan faktor-faktor penghambat pelaksanaan manfaat Komisi KPPAD Terhadap Korban Pelecehan Seksual Anak Di Kabupaten Kepulauan Anambas. Hasil akhir penelitian menyatakan bahwa fungsi KPPAD masih belum maksimal, yaitu masih kurang sosialisasi serta lambannya proses penyelesaian kasus.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see the extent to which the role of Christian religious teachers through constructivism theory in the contextual teaching-learning model. One of the main problems found in this paper by the author is the undeveloped proper contextual teaching-learning model. This paper used a qualitative research method to examine the teacher's role as a facilitator and catalyst through constructivism theory in the contextual teaching-learning models of Christian religious education. The analysis process used in this paper is using various source literature, both journal articles, books, and other trusted reference material to support the author’s analysis. The results found in the study indicate that the theory of constructivism in the contextual learning model can be applied by understanding the nature of the contextual learning model, the theory of constructivism, the basic concepts of contextual learning for Christian religious education, and the role of Christian religious education teachers as facilitators and catalysts. Thus, the development of constructivism theory in the contextual learning model of Christian religious education can provide new insights to teachers in carrying out their duties as professional educators. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat sejauh mana peran guru agama Kristen melalui teori kostruktivisme dalam model pembelajaran kontekstual (Contextual Teaching Learning). Salah pokok permasalah yang ditemukan oleh penulis dalam tulisan ini adalah pengembangan model pembelajaran yang bersifat kontekstual (Contextual Teaching Learning) belum dikembangkan dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan mengkaji bagaimana peran guru sebagai fasilitator dan katalisator melalui teori konstruktivisme dalam model pembelajaran kontekstual pendidikan agama Kristen. Proses analisis yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah menggunakan berbagai sumber literatur baik artikel jurnal, buku dan bahan referensi lainnya yang terpercaya untuk mendukung analisis penulis. Hasil yang ditemukan dalam kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa teori konstruktivisme dalam model pembelajaran kontekstual dapat diterapkan dengan memahami hakikat model pembelajaran kontekstual, teori konstruktivisme, konsep dasar pembelajaran kontekstual pendidikan agama Kristen dan peran guru pendidikan agama Kristen sebagai fasilitator dan katalisator.Dengan demikian, pengembangan teori konstruktivismedalam model pembelajaran kontekstual pendidikan agama Kristen dapat memberi wawasan baru kepada guru dalam melaksanakan tugas sebagai pendidik yang profesional.

Abstract

This article discusses the model of Christian religious education with a compound insight in fostering religious tolerance in Indonesia. In the context of nationhood, society and religion in Indonesia according to the basis of Pancasila, there are six recognized religions, namely Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Confucianism. Religious differences are supposed to acknowledge each other, respect each other, and cooperate in virtue. But in fact differences in religious beliefs become a driving factor to bring down, demean each other, or mix between religions with each other. Therefore, there needs to be a diverse religious insight in fostering religious tolerance in Indonesia. Therefore, the model of Christian religious education is inclusive, multicultural, dialogue and peaceful as the right approach to foster religious tolerance in daily life. This research uses a method of literature study that refers to concepts and theories according to literature available such as articles published in various scientific journals, books and other scientific papers.AbstrakArtikel ini membahas tentang model pendidikan agama Kristen berwawasan majemuk dalam membina sikap toleransi beragama di Indonesia. Dalam konteks berbangsa, bermasyarakat dan beragama di Indonesia sesuai dasar Pancasila, ada enam agama yang diakui yaitu Islam, Kristen, Katolik, Hindu, Budha dan Konghucu. Perbedaan agama seharusnya untuk saling mengakui, saling menghormati, dan bekerja sama dalam kebajikan. Namun pada faktanya perbedaan keyakinan agama menjadi faktor pendorong untuk saling menjatuhkan, saling merendahkan, atau mencampuradukkan antar agama yang satu dengan yang lain. Oleh sebab itu, perlu adanya wawasan agama yang mejemuk dalam membina sikap toleransi beragama di Indonesia. Untuk itu, model pendidikan agama Kristen yang inklusif, multikultural, dialog dan damai sebagai pendekatan yang tepat untuk membina sikap toleransi beragama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka yang merujuk pada konsep dan teori sesuai literature yang tersedia seperti artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan dalam berbagai jurnal ilmiah, buku-buku dan makalah ilmiah lainya.
