Abstract

The publicness character of the Indonesia Republic Radio/RRI is both historical as well as legal necessity. RRI was born from the historical process as a struggle radio to seize and defend independence from colonialists. This true identity that is embodied in the spirit of public service ethos is getting stronger after the enactment of Government Regulation No. 11/2005 and 12/2005 concerning public service broadcasting and RRI public service broadcasting respectively. The duty of serving the needs and interests of the public must be the "spirit" which drives its whole operational activities of broadcasting and institutional governance. For this reason, various efforts have been made, such as improving governance and expanding the broadcast network area. To answer the demands of media digitization, the adoption of media convergence technology in the form of the launch of the RRI Play Go application has also been carried out. This has changed it from a public service broadcasting institution (PSB) to a public service media (PSM). Its public character as a public service broadcast radio must be put forward by placing the public as citizens (citizens) active participants both in the process of planning and implementing broadcast program content as well as media institutional governance. Through PSM, the interaction between media managers and citizens can be established. The process of involving citizens in the production process of media content is also easily facilitated. For this reason, their role in supervising and evaluating media management must be more substantial to ensure the public character of RRI. Based on this, this study aims to examine the form of public participation in supervising and evaluating broadcasting and media management of RRI. More specifically, what is the role of the Audience Council Forum Komunikasi Pemerhati of RRI Malang in carrying out this function.

Abstract

The global challenge in preserving local wisdom is be in the event of social adjustment to technology adoption. Communities and groups can accelerate the use of technology to preserve local wisdom. Jatiguwi, through Jurang Toleh Park, has become a pilot project in digitally empowering communities to carry out local wisdom and improve the economy of rural communities. This study used a qualitative descriptive method involving four informants based on the following criteria: involvement village activities, actively participating village activities, and being involved village tourism activities. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman's analysis. This research emphasizes on digital empowerment efforts for the community to preserve local wisdom and strengthen the village economy. The result of this research is that the success of digital empowerment starts with digital understanding by the community. Then involvement in developing tourism potential, visitor management of tourism and tourism promotion. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the extent to which the professionalism of TV journalists to process information to become a debate of opinion for the local community about local phenomena. The process of producing news is important to provide good news content to the public. The good news is presented by journalists who understand and adhere to the journalist's code of ethics. Because journalists are professionals who work based on rules or code of ethics journalism as an operational handle to maintain public confidence, uphold integrity and professionalism. The performance of journalists must uphold the code of ethics of television journalists, among other things "not to engineer events, images or sounds to be made news" (article 5 point c) and then in chapter 10 point c reads "as distinguish between the facts and opinions, . It relies heavily on the quality of human resources of television journalists to produce quality news. The results obtained in the study show that Journalists at Batu TV are not "free" individuals who produce truth through journalistic outcomes, but rather because of the demands of corporate capitalism. Batu TV prioritizes Profit Oriented so that the news is dominated by order news (blockingtime). Under these circumstances, journalists are faced with a dilemma between a pure report in the journalist's code of ethics with news of orders being polished for commercial demands. Abstract

Abstrak                Gegar budaya hampir selalu menampilkan kedigdayaan penguasaan informasi, dan ditopang kemajuan di bidang teknologi komunikasi. Salah satu catatan penting terletak pada media sosial, meskipun awalnya hanya sebagai alternative solutif atas kegamangan masyarakat pengguna media massa. Problematika sosial ini timbul sejak hadirnya teknologi internet yang dipopulerkan melalui The Millenium of Age 2000. Megatrend ini pula yang mendorong terbentuknya masyarakat maya (cyber community), khususnya dalam memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap penyebaran informasi. Gerakannya yang masih telah dapat mengendalikan kehidupan sosial politik, dengan tendensinya pada pencitraan figur-figur yang ditampilkan. Inilah yang menjadikan urgensi penelitian dengan memfokuskan pada upaya mengungkap secara wajar kontribusi media sosial secara selektif dalam rangka meningkatkan elektabilitas figur politik. Penelitian ini sekaligus menganalisis data, khususnya pada pelaku-pelaku media sosial yang relatif tersembunyi, dan pada akhirnya dapat menetapkan 9 (Sembilan) informan secara purposif. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut; (1) pemanfaatan media sosial lebih mengedepankan prinsip keseimbangan dalam mengagendakan kepentingan, mengingat terdapat filter literasi yang menjadikan audiens sangat selektif terhadap informasi, (2) etika bermedia konteks politik bukan berakar pada pelaku media, namun justru terletak pada karakter audiens yang sangat aktif, dan (3) intensitas komunikasi berbasis cybernetics dapat efektif apabila membuka ruang dialog yang bersifat konsultatif. Abstract Concussions almost always display the power of information mastery, and sustained advances in the field of communications technology. One of the important notes lies in social media, although initially only as an alternative solution to the crowds of mass media users. This social problem arises from the presence of internet technology popularized through the millennium of age 2000. This Megatrend also encourages the formation of cyber community (cyber community), especially in making a positive contribution to the dissemination of information. Its massive movement has been able to control socio-political life, with his tendency to imaging the figures shown. This is the urgency of research, focusing on the fair expression, the selective contribution of social media in order to improve the electability of political figures. This study uses a qualitative-interactive approach, in order to obtain the flexibility to dig as well as analyze the data, especially on the social media players are relatively hidden, and in the end can set as many as 9 informants purposively. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: (1) social media utilization more emphasizes the principle of balance in agenda of interest, considering there is filter of literacy make the audience very selective to information; (2) ethics in the media-based political context is not rooted in the media actors, but rather lies in the character of a very active audience; and (3) the intensity of cybernetics-based communication can be effective, if it opens a consultative dialogue space.

Abstract

Banyak mahasiswa Universitas Merdeka Malang yang menjadi Wirausaha (strat-up bisnis), dimana mereka dapat menimba pengalaman dalam berwirausaha dan mengembangkan kewirausahaan. Namun, wabah Covid-19 dari tahun 2020 hingga 2022 tidak memungkinkan adanya pameran produk dan jasa, sehingga kegiatan pameran dapat dilakukan secara online menggunakan pameran virtual interaktif (interactive virtual exhibition) . Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat program aplikasi yang memasarkan produk dan jasa untuk memulai bisnis mahasiswa melalui pameran virtual interaktif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Ada 10 (sepuluh) langkah penelitian, yaitu: Membentuk tim pengembang, Membuat peta situs, Merancang aplikasi, Konten video, Penjelasan dan animasi subtitle, Komposisi (pemrograman dan enkripsi), Pembuatan Basis Data, Visualisasi, Penyimpanan, Uji Uji dan Penyebaran Online. Sampel sebanyak 20 mahasiswa mengikuti program Inkubator Bisnis Merdeka. Website Unmer Virtual Exhibition kini berhasil dibuat dan siap untuk dijelajahi.
