Abstract

Activities in the laboratory are directly related to learning media, one of which is injection props. The high need for borrowing and using teaching aids and the existence of nursing laboratory standards make PLP have to innovate related to finding new alternatives to complement the shortage of teaching aids. This study aims to determine the reliability of modified injection phantom in improving the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of students in practical activities in the nursing laboratory. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Nursing, University of Riau, in March – November 2020. The samples in this study were 20 students and 5 lecturers. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), the steps that researchers use in research and development of learning media refer to the design developed by Borg and Gall. The results of this study indicate that the modified injection phantom developed is considered to be able to be used as a phantom or alternative injection props based on existing needs and the media that has been developed can be used for practicum because it has a good general and special appearance. Suggestions for further researchers are expected to be able to develop modified injection phantom learning media in order to improve existing prototypes

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to analyze the effect of family social support and physical environment to the behaviors of children with autism at Pekanbaru. This research is analytic-observational study with a cross-sectional and direct observation. with autism who made the same observation and stimulus 3 times for each sample observation taken using purposive sampling technique. This research showed a significant effect between emotional social support, award winning support, instrumental support, informative support, voice suddenly and unexpectedly, continuous noise and hard, light, on the behavior of children with autism at Pekanbaru in 2013. With multiple logistic regression test showed that the most dominant variables on the behavior of autistic children in Pekanbaru is a family social support P value = 0.017 and OR = 19.248.

Abstract

Buah pala banda merupakan tumbuhan khas masyarakat Aceh Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui karakteristik organoleptik (warna, aroma, tekstur dan rasa) pada cookies tepung buah pala banda.(2) menstandarisasikan resep cookies tepung pala banda, dan (3) daya terima konsumen terhadap cookies tepung pala banda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah sensory evaluation (uji pengamatan) yang dilakukan terhadap 4 orang narasumber dan uji penerimaan (hedonic scale) yang diuji cobakan 30 orang panelis konsumen. Analisis data menggunakan anava satu jalur dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji Pengamatan oleh narasumber  diketahui bahwa, cookies tepung daging buah pala banda yang disukai adalah pada perlakuan keempat (M18) dari segi warna 24,75, aroma 24,25, tekstur 24,5 dan rasa 24,25 pada cookies. Hasil analisis tentang penerimaan konsumen menunjukkan bahwa cookies tepung daging buah pala banda yang disukai adalah perlakuan ketiga (M16) memiliki nilai rata-rata pada warna 23,5, aroma 23,25, tekstur 24, dan rasa 23. Simpulan dari penelitian, Cookies yang disukai narasumber adalah pada perlakuan keempat dari segi warna, aroma, tekstur dan rasa.  Sedangkan konsumen menyukai cookies dengan penambahan tepung daging buah pala banda pada perlakuan ketiga. karena memiliki warna sangat coklat, aroma yang sangat harum, tekstur yang renyah, dan rasa yang manis. Saran dari penelitian, kepada peneliti berikutnya untuk meneliti daya simpan cookies tepung daging buah pala banda dan uji kandungan gizi cookies tepung daging buah pala banda.
