Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to determine the increase mathematical representation ability of students with cooperative learning base multiple intelligence. The lower mathematical representation ability and the difficulty in understanding trigonometry and also not facing multiple intelligences is the reason for this research. This research is a quasi experiment that compares two classes with different treatments, cooperative learning based on multiple intelligence and exspositori learning. Learning media in reasech is the RPP and LAS that is validated the expert team. The research instrument was also validated by an expert team and continued with validation, reliability, difficulty and differentiation tests. The analysis used is one-way ANOVA obtained by Fcount (4,342) Ftable (0,05) (4,026) Explained, H0 is accepted, and it can be concluded that the increased ability of mathematical representation in multiple intelligence-based cooperative learning rather than increasing mathematical representation ability in ordinary learning.Keywords: mathematical representation, cooperative learning, multiple intelligence

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe match mine terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa kelas X SMK Bisnis dan manajemen APIPSU Medan tahun ajaran 2017/2018 pada pokok bangun ruang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X semester genap SMK Bisnis dan manajemen APIPSU Medan tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Cluster Random Sampling (sampel acak kelompok) yaitu pengambilan sampel dengan cara mengambil 2 unit kelas untuk eksperimen dan kontrol. Dalam penelitian ini kelas X-1 dengan jumlah 24 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-2 dengan jumlah 24 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan semu eksperimen (quasi eksperiment) pada dua kelas dengan perlakuan yang berbeda. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe match mine pada kelas eksperimen disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe match mine terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of image media on mathematical representation ability at data presentation material in online learning of fourth grade students at State Elementary School 064998 Medan Marelan in Academic Year of 2020/2021. This research is an experimental research with quantitative method uses a Quasi experimental research with non equivalent groups pretest – posttest design. This study consisted of two variables, independent variable is image media in online learning and independent variable is the mathematical representation ability of fourth grade students at State Elementary School 064998 Medan Marelan in Academic Year of 2020/2021. The population is all students grade IV State Elementary School 064998 Medan Marelan, Totaling 58 students with sample used were 30 students of class IVA and 28 students of class IVB. The data collection instruments were observation, test and documentation. This research instrument uses test validity, test reliability, level of difficulty and differentiating power of Question. The data analysis used N – Gain calculation, Normality test, Homogenity test and hypotetis testing. The result of this study show that the experimental class has increased, where 4 students with hight interpretation and 26 students with moderate interpretation. The output table of the t – test of experimental class with value Sig. (2 – Tailed) pretest posttest value is 0.000. based on the decision criteria 0.000 < 0.05, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that image media affect the student’s mathematical representation ability at data presentation material in online learning of fourth grade students at State Elementary School 064998 Medan Marelan in Academic Year of 2020/2021.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to (1) improve students' mathematical communication skills through the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model with the Reciprocal Teaching Approach in MTs Islamiyah Medan, (2) describe the process of implementing the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model with the Reciprocal Teaching Approach at MTs Islamiyah Medan. This research is a class action research with 31 students of VII-2 MTs Islamiyah Medan subject. Instruments used include learning implementation observation sheets, mathematical communication observation sheets, and mathematical communication test questions. Implementation of the STAD Cooperative Learning Model with the Reciprocal Teaching Approach includes: (1) Initial Activities: the teacher conveys apperception and motivation regarding the material to be studied; (2) this activity: group work which includes Clarifying discussion, Predicting discussion Questioning discussion, Summarizing discussion, discussion of LKS questions, and group percentage; (3) Closing: the teacher together with students draw conclusions on the material that has been learned. After learning takes place there is an increase in students' mathematical communication skills. This can be seen from the results of observations of the implementation of learning an increase in the percentage from cycle I to cycle II amounted to 90.90% to 94.45% with a very good category of accuracy. Furthermore, the results of observations of students' mathematical abilities also increased from cycle I by 75.00% (good category) to 82.41% (good category) in the second cycle. This is in line with the results of a mathematical communication test that has increased after the second cycle, which is as many as 27 students or 64.52% of the number of students in class VII-2 has increased in total scores to good categories.Keywords: Mathematical Communication, Cooperative, STAD, Reciprocal Teaching.

Abstract

Abstract. The aims of this research is to 1) the effectiveness of the learning process by using learning tools problem based learning learning model, include: (a) the achievement of student learning objectives views of problem solving skills both individually and classical, (b) active activity levels of students during the learning process, (c) the level of the teacher's ability to manage learning process, (d) student response of the components and the learning process; 2) increase students' problem solving skills using learning tools developed. Subjects in this study were students of class VII SMP Negeri 3 Sunggal as many as 34 people and the object of this study is to look at the effectiveness of the learning process is carried out. The instrument used consisted of observations of student activity sheets, a teacher's ability observation sheet, questionnaire responses of students and problem solving ability test. Learning tools developed (RPP, teacher books, student books, and activity sheets) already meets the level of validity with reliability coefficient is 0.788. Based on data obtained from tests on learning devices in mind that: 1) the device has been developed to meet the effectiveness of the learning process, wherein: (a) the percentage of students who reach the level of problem solving ability in classical 85,29% of the 34 students taking the test with a minimum value of 2,67 (B-), (b) the activity levels of students have met the tolerance limit LAS ideal time to good use in teaching in the first trial and the second trials, (c) the ability of teachers on the first trial is 2.90 and the second trials is 4,22, (d) student response to the components and the learning process has been positive on the first trial and second trials; 2) an increase in students' problem-solving ability of students at postest first trial, which increased 2,72 to 2,84 in postes second trial with an average increase in the medium category (average N-gain = 0.574).Keywords: learning tools, Problem Based Learning model, and problem solving Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) keefektifan proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah, meliputi: (a) pencapaian tujuan belajar siswa dilihat dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah baik secara individu maupun klasikal, (b) tingkat aktivitas aktif siswa selama proses pembelajaran, (c) tingkat kemampuan guru dalam mengelola proses pembelajaran, (d) respon siswa terhadap komponen dan proses pembelajaran; 2) meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Sunggal sebanyak 34 orang dan objek penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat keefektifan proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari observasi lembar aktivitas siswa, lembar observasi kemampuan guru, kuesioner tanggapan siswa dan uji kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Alat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan (RPP, buku guru, buku pelajar, dan lembar kegiatan) sudah memenuhi tingkat validitas dengan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,788. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari pengujian perangkatpembelajaran diketahui bahwa: 1) perangkat telah dikembangkan untuk memenuhi keefektifan proses pembelajaran, dimana: (a) persentase siswa yang mencapai tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada kelas klasik 85, 29% dari 34 siswa yang mengikuti tes dengan nilai minimal 2,67 (B-), (b) tingkat aktivitas siswa telah memenuhi batas toleransi waktu ideal LAS untuk digunakan dengan baik dalam pengajaran di sidang pertama dan yang kedua. Uji coba, (c) kemampuan guru pada percobaan pertama adalah 2,90 dan uji coba kedua adalah 4,22, (d) tanggapan siswa terhadap komponen dan proses pembelajaran telah positif pada percobaan pertama dan uji coba kedua; 2) peningkatan kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa pada percobaan pertama postest, yang meningkat 2,72 menjadi 2,84 pada postes second trial dengan kenaikan rata-rata kategori medium (rata-rata N-gain = 0,574). Kata Kunci: perangkat pembelajaran, pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah, dan pemecahan masalah
