Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet putra di klub bola voli Panorama hanya melatih teknik teknik dan fisik tanpa memperhatikan faktor psikologis atlet, maka dari itu latihan imagery dapat menjadi solusi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan imagery terhadap kepercayaan diri atlet putra di klub bola voli Panorama. Peneliti menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kuasi eksperimen one group pre-test post-test design. Peneliti melakukan perlakuan dengan memberikan latihan imagery selam delapan pertemuan. Teknik dan instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket kepercayaan diri yang sudah divalidasi oleh dua ahli. Sampel dalam penelitian dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 20 atlet. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil analisis uji-t menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 9,132 > ttabel 2,093. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepercayaan diri atlet berada pada kategori baik dengan presentase sebesar 45%, sedangkan hasil post-test menunjukkan bahwa terdapa peningkatan kepercayaan diri atlet dengan presentase sebesar 60%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh latihan mental imagery terhadap kepercayaan diri.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the interpersonal communication built by Bengkulu athletes to their coaches in the preparation period for PON Papua 2021. Quantitative descriptive research methods were used in this study. The study population was 83 Bengkulu athletes who were prepared to participate in PON Papua 2021. Sampling in this study was a total sampling so that all athletes became a sample of 83 athletes. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, and the instrument used was the coach-athlete relationship questionnaire. The research instrument consists of three aspects, namely: closeness, orientation, and complementarity. The validity of the instrument used was 0.463-0.721 and the reliability was 0.92. The research data were processed using the mean ideal and standard deviation ideal. The results of the study stated that the interpersonal communication between Bengkulu athletes and their coaches had a score of 41.40-46.00 in the very good category, so it was concluded that the interpersonal communication of Bengkulu athletes to the coach towards Pon Papua 2021 was in the very good category.

Abstract

Objectives. The study observed that some first-semester Physical Education students at Bengkulu University lacked proficiency in basic volleyball techniques such as passing and were not motivated by their lecturers' teaching methods. To address this, the peer tutorial method was applied to skilled students. This proved successful and saved time. The research aims to evaluate whether this method can improve passing skills. The study uses action research. Materials and Methods. The subjects of this research were 1st Semester Physical Education Students at Bengkulu University with a total of 30 students consisting of 17 men and 13 women. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, and tests of volleyball passing skills. Results. Pre-cycle research found 56.67% students failed to understand bottom passing movement (17 students). Cycle I peer tutorial improved to 66.66% (19 students). Cycle II improved further to 76.67% (23 students). Conclusion. The results suggest that the peer tutorial method has a positive impact on improving volleyball bottom passing skills, resulting in an increase in the number of students passing the bottom.

Abstract

Objective. Based on the observation results, it was found that the athletes of Fordas FC lacked mastery of basic technical skills in futsal. To address this issue, this research aims to determine the proficiency level of futsal basic technical skills in athletes at Fordas FC. Materials and Methods. This study is a form of quantitative descriptive research, which aims to describe the basic skills of futsal players, including passing, controlling, dribbling, and shooting. The subjects of this research are all 20 active athletes at Fordas FC. The research was conducted at the Futsal Field in Sumber Rejo Village, North Bengkulu, and the data collection technique used was the Basic Futsal Technique Skills Test. This test is specifically designed to measure the basic technical skills of futsal players. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of percentages. Result. According to the research conducted, it was found that among the athletes of Fordas FC, 6 athletes (30%) were declared to have good basic futsal technical skills, 8 athletes (40%) were found to have adequate skills, 4 athletes (20%) were found to have poor skills, and 2 athletes (10%) were found to have very less skills. The average value of 82.31 indicates that the level of basic futsal technical skills of the athletes falls in the 74 < X ≤ 89 range. Conclusion. After conducting thorough research, it has been established that the athletes at Fordas FC club have an adequate level of basic futsal technical skills. The results of this study can prove to be highly beneficial for coaches and athletes as it provides comprehensive evaluation material to help them develop and enhance their fundamental technical abilities in futsal. With these findings, coaches can focus on specific areas of improvement, while the players can utilize these insights to work on their skills and become better at their game.
