<![CDATA[Abstract: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) spreads very fast and has been declared as a global pandemic since March 11, 2020. Specific therapy for COVID-19 has not been found, the drug used is still in the status of a test drug. This research aims to determine patient characteristics and description of drug use in COVID-19 therapy. This research was conducted in the medical record unit X hospital retrospectively with a purposive sampling technique. The instrument of this research was the patient’s medical record data. Patients treated in isolation wards for the period March – December 2020 were 52% male and 42% female, the age group suffering from the most COVID-19 was late adulthood (34-45 years), with 30 cases (30%). Of the total 100 patients 4% of them were asymptomatic cases and 94% were cases with symptoms (symptomatic), among them 13,54% were mild-grade cases, 70,83% were moderate-grade cases, 5,21% were severe-grade cases and 10,42% cases with critical degree. As many as 52% of COVID-19 patients had comorbids with the most comorbids being Diabetes Mellitus (DM) 28,85%, hypertension 21,14%, heart disease 15,39%. the main drugs used in the handling of COVID-19 consisted of 30,72% antibiotic class drugs, 15,97% antiviral, 3,92% emergency antiviral, 49,39% supplements. From the analysis of drugs in the therapy of COVID-19, it was found that several drugs did not meet the exact dosage criteria, namely 10,31%.Keywords: Description of Therapeutic Care, COVID-19, X HospitalAbstrak: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) menyebar dengan sangat cepat dan ditetapkan sebagai pendemi global sejak 11 Maret 2020. Terapi spesifik untuk COVID-19 belum ditemukan, obat yang digunakan sampai saat ini masih berstatus obat uji. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik pasien dan tatalaksana terapi pada pasien COVID-19. Penelitian dilakukan di unit rekam medis Rumah Sakit X di kota Surakarta secara retrospektif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian adalah data rekam medis pasien. Pasien yang dirawat di bangsal isolasi periode Maret – Desember 2020, 52% bejenis kelamin laki – laki dan 42% perempuan, kelompok umur yang terpapar COVID-19 terbanyak adalah masa dewasa akhir (36 – 45 tahun) yaitu sebesar 30 kasus (30%). Dari total 100 pasien 4% diantaranya merupakan kasus tanpa gejala (asimtomatik) dan 94% adalah kasus dengan gejala (simtomatik), diantaranya 13,54% merupakan kasus derajat ringan, 70,83% kasus derajat sedang, 5,21% kasus derajat berat dan 10,42% kasus derajat kritis. Sebanyak 52% pasien COVID-19 memiliki komorbid dengan komorbid terbanyak adalah Diabetes Melitus (DM) 28,85%, hipertensi 21,14%, penyakit jantung 15,39%. Obat utama yang digunakan sebagai terapi COVID-19 terdiri dari golongan antibiotik sebesar 30,72%, antivirus 15,97%, antivirus emergency 3,92%, suplemen 49,39%.
