Abstract

The effectiveness of a machine is an important thing in the production process; the losses that arise can cause time losses and hamper the process, especially in vital production facilities. The SNK HF machine is a machine with category A or critical with the highest damage occurring throughout 2019–2020. Analysis of the condition of the machine’s effectiveness in this study was done by using the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) method, namely by knowing the conditions of availability, performance and quality. The results of the OEE analysis are followed by a failure mode effect analysis (FMEA) to overcome the problems that occur. The condition of machine damage and the availability of machine parts are the factors that most affect the decrease in the effectiveness of the SNK HF machine.

Abstract

Perubahan panjang material plastik PMMA (Polimethymethacrylate) dapat terjadi karena pengaruh temperatur dan kelembaban. Untuk mengetahui laju perubahan panjang material plastik PMMA pada kondisi didalam kontainer saat transportasi, dilakukan pengujian dengan mensimulasikan kondisi temperatur dan kelembaban ketika di dalam kontainer. Perubahan panjang ini terjadi hingga mencapai titik maksimum, berapa lama waktu yang dibutuhkan material plastik PMMA stabil dan tidak terjadi lagi perubahan panjang, serta mengetahui pengaruh temperatur dan kelembaban terhadap gugus fungsi yang terbentuk. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pengujian material plastik PMMA menggunakan mesin chamber yang dapat mensimulasikan kondisi temperatur dan kelembaban didalam kontainer ketika proses transportasi, diantaranya high temperature – high humidity, high temperature – low humidity, low temperature – high humidity, low temperature – low humidity. Serta mengetahui gugus fungsi yang terbentuk. Hasil pengujian menunjukan perubahan panjang yang terbesar terjadi pada kondisi low temperature – high humidity dengan perubahan panjang sebesar 0.36 mm atau 0.146% dan mencapai titik stabil diaman tidak lagi terjadi perubahan panjang pada hari ke-21. Sedangkan, untuk perubahan panjang terkecil ialah pada kondisi high temperature – low humidity, pada kondisi ini terjadi penyusutan panjang sebesar -0.14 mm atau -0.0567% dan mencapai titik kestabilannya pada hari ke-4. Dari percobaan yang dilakukan tidak terjadi perubahan gugus fungsi pada senyawa material plastik PMMA. Hal ini menunjukan temperatur dan kelembaban di dalam kontainer tidak memengaruhi gugus fungsi yang terbentuk.

Abstract

Unit selection is important to fufill the production target of a heavy equipment contractor company. To make the right selection, it is necessary to calculate based on several parameters to determine the best investment in certain units, such as loader and hauler units. Unit rationalization is one of many way to make a standard parameter selection to reduce the number of models and brands of units. This research was conducted by analyzing the rationalization of units on loader and hauler units at PT. XYZ by calculating the data of cost per hour, physical availability, mean time between repair, cost per bank cubic meter, cost per payload and the cost of new unit to create a unit selection modeling so the modeling results are obtained to determine the unit with the best brand in each class for invested in loader and hauler units. This study succeeded in making the modeling that used for analyze the rationalization of the best units in the loader and hauler units to get the matrix of the best brand in each class that being analyzed.

Abstract

Flooded is a classic thing in every area, especially in the capital city. Floods in Jakarta cannot be separated from the role of the community in urban areas and villages within the town. People's behavior in everyday life, the condition of infrastructure in the community is critical in overcoming flood problems and external causes such as high rainfall, global warming, and climate change. People's behavior that ignores environmental cleanliness such as littering, changing the function of infiltration land as a residence without thinking about environmental impacts, community participation in the maintenance, and lack of concern for the condition of drainage infrastructure in the environment has a vital role. Abstract

The application of a clean and healthy lifestyle should become a daily habit. Management is fully felt by humans, management in the utilization of natural resources in addition to promoting general welfare as well as to achieve happiness in life and the way of its efforts must pay attention to the preservation of the ability of the living environment in a harmonious and balanced manner to support sustainable development. The purpose of this activity is to create a sense of community concern for a clean and waste-free environment. Meanwhile, the benefit of this activity is to raise public awareness of Pondok Bambu Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta or those who are not in the area so as not to litter. Program activities carried out through 1) Physical group programs, namely the creation of a sign appealing to the community to always keep the environment clean and the provision of trash bins for the surrounding community, so that they can always maintain the cleanliness of the local environment in order to create a clean, tidy and free of waste environment. 2) Non-physical group programs, namely: carrying out mutual cooperation activities to clean the environment to provide an example to the local community so that it can create a sense of empathy for the local community towards environmental cleanliness. 3) Additional group programs, namely: holding a simple event to inaugurate and legalize the installation of signs and trash bins which were inaugurated and legalized by all regional officials
