Abstract

This research is quantitative research. The research was conducted on November 5-24, 2018. The population in this study were class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Jelimpo in the 2018/2019 school year of Landak Regency, which consisted of class X MIA, X IIS A and X IIS B totaling 109 students. The sampling technique is Cluster Random Sampling. Data collection methods used tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with prerequisite test consisting of balance test, normality test and homogeneity test, followed by a hypothesis test consisting of two-way unequal cell anava test and further test. Based on the calculation results obtained: (1) the TAI method is better than the Pair Checks method of understanding concepts, (2) high learning interest has better understanding of concepts than moderate and low learning interest, and moderate learning interest is better than low interest in learning, ( 3) In each learning method high learning interest has better understanding of concepts than moderate and low learning interest, and moderate learning interest is better than low interest in learning, (4) At each level of learning interest students have high and moderate learning interest in the TAI method and the Pair Checks method has the same good concept, so for students who have a low interest in learning with the TAI method they have a better understanding of the concepts than students with the Pair Checks method.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar matematika tentang metode Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) dan Jigsaw terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa pada materi pokok soal persamaan garis dan sudut kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Sengah Temila pada akademik 2017/2018 kabupaten landak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif studi penelitian komparatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Sengah Temila pada 13 Maret - 22 Maret 2018. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIB SMP Negeri 3 Sengah Temila yang terdiri dari 57 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) lebih baik daripada Jigsaw. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata kelas VIIA menggunakan Metode STAD 80,55 dan kelas VIIB menggunakan model pembelajaran Jigsaw 75,71. Pengujian hipotesis terhadap hasil uji-t diperoleh thitung = 2,153 sedangkan ttabel = 2,004. Ini menunjukkan t hitung> t tabel atau 2,153> 2,004. H0 ditolak yang berarti bahwa ada perbedaan antara penggunaan metode Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) dan Jigsaw pada prestasi belajar matematika siswa pada garis subjek dan sudut kelas VII di SMP Negeri 3 Sengah Temila 2017/2018 tahun ajaran Kabupaten Landak

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kuala Behe Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 Kabupaten Landak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantatif dengan pendekatan ex post facto. Populasi semua siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kuala Behe. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 64 siswa yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dengan uji prasyarat yaitu normalitas dengan metode Kolmogorov-Smirnov, heteroskedastisitas dengan metode Glejser, linearitas dengan menggunakan test for linearity, Multikolonieritas dengan menggunakan Variance Inflation Factor (VIF), dan Outokorelasi dengan metode Durbin-Watson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kuala Behe Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 Kabupaten Landak. Hasil R Square = 0,195 x 100 % = 19,5% yang menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kuala Behe dapat dijelaskan oleh motivasi belajar sebesar 19,5%.

Abstract

Abstract:This research aims at describing the type of error at algebra’s problem solving process in the VIII’s students of MTs Negeri 1 Landakwho obtained high, medium, and low academic achievement. This research employed a qualitative approach. The procedure of selecting the subjects was purposive sampling. The data were obtained through test and in-depth interview. The technique to measure the validity was triangulation method. The type of errorwas classified into five:1) incomplete answer, 2) misused data, 3) technical error, 4) error originating from misconceptions of previously learned material, 5) distorted definition. The result that the which high achievement is on error of 1 and 3. The students who gain medium achievement is on error of 1,3, and 4. The students who gain low achievement is on error of 1,3,4, and 5. The factors are the limited time, carelessness and unrecorrecting the answer. Many students don’t understand the concept of algebric operation and the previous materials.Abstrak:Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan Kesalahan Jenis pada pemecahan masalah operasi aljabar siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 1 Landak yang memperoleh prestasi tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Metode pemilihan subjek menggunakan sampling purposive. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan tes dan wawancara. Teknis validasi menggunakan triangulasi metode. Pada penelitian ini Kesalahan Jenis dibagi 5 yaitu: 1) jawaban tidak lengkap, 2) kesalahan penggunaan data, 3) kesalahan teknis, 4) kurang memahami materi sebelumnya, 5) penggunaan definisi menyimpang. Hasil penelitian ini, siswa yang memperoleh prestasi tinggi melakukan Kesalahan Jenis 1 dan 3. Siswa yang memperoleh prestasi sedang melakukan Kesalahan Jenis 1, 3, dan 4. Siswa yang memperoleh prestasi rendah melakukan Kesalahan Jenis 1, 3, 4, dan 5. Faktor yang menyebabkan adalah waktu yang kurang, tidak teliti, dan tergesa-gesa pada saat mengerjakan dan tidak mengoreksi jawaban. Siswa belum memahami operasi aljabar serta materi sebelumnya yang menjadi materi prasyarat.

Abstract

Abstract— This study aims to determine the differences in understanding the concepts ofmathematics subjects from each learning method, learning style and the interaction of both.This research is a quantitative research with a 3x3 factorial design. The population in thisstudy were all eighth grade students of Maniamas Ngabang Middle School 2019/2020academic year totaling 105 people. Samples were taken by cluster random samplingtechnique with a total sample of 78 people. The instrument used was a test instrument tomeasure understanding of mathematical concepts and questionnaire instruments to measurestudent learning styles. The data analysis technique uses two-way variance (two way ANOVA)with a significant level of 5%. Based on the results of the calculation of the hypothesis testcan be concluded (1) There are differences in understanding the concept of mathematicssubjects between the use of the Talking Stick method, Pair Check and conventional materialrelations and functions, namely (a) Students taught by the Talking Stick and Pair Checkmethod produce understanding mathematical concepts the same is good, (b) Students taughtwith the Talking Stick method are better than students taught with conventional methods and(c) Students taught by the Pair Check method are better than students taught by conventionalmethods. (2) There is no difference in understanding of the concepts of mathematical subjectsbetween students who have visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles and (3) There is nointeraction of understanding mathematical concepts between each learning method andlearning style.
