Abstract

Karate menjadi sebuah aktivitas olahraga dan seni bela diri yang diminati dan bahkan diajarkan kepada siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Karawang Barat. Kendati demikian pada aspek kuda-kuda, siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dan perlu pelatihan intensif. Untuk itu diadakan pelatihan yang berfokus pada teknik kuda-kuda depan (zenkutsu dachi) yang merupakan dasar dalam seni bela diri karate. Pelatihan diadakan sebanyak 5 pertemuan melibatkan 22 siswa. Melalui pelatihan, siswa diajarkan pengetahuan dasar, kegunaan dan metode kuda-kuda depan yang benar. Pelatihan dilaksanakan secara fun learning. Hasilnya menunjukkan siswa merasakan pengalaman belajar pelatihan karate dengan cara yang menyenangkan dan terfokus. Dengan melaitih kuda-kuda secara rutin dan berkelanjutan mampu meningkatkan skill siswa. Selain itu siswa juga menjadi semakin kolaboratif di antara peserta, memiliki kemandirian, kedisiplinan, sikap tanggung jawab dan kesadaran melakukan aktivitas yang bermanfaat dan menyehatkan tubuh sesuai kebutuhan perkembangan dan belajar mereka.

Abstract

Poros berperan penting sebagai penerus daya melalui putaran mesin. Poros dapat menerima beban lentur, tarikan serta beban puntiran. Poros Genset Star SPG1600 termasuk salah satu jenis poros engkol tunggal yang mendapatkan beban lentur dan beban puntir. Hal yang harus diperhatikan dalam perencanaan poros yaitu kekuatan, kekakuan poros, putaran kritis, korosi dan bahan poros. Tahapan perencanaan ini dibagi menjadi dua tahanapan, pertama adalah menentukan dimensi dan bahan yang digunakan dengan menggunakan tahapan perencanaan poros dengan beban puntir dan lentur yang disusun sularso. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan poros engkol Genset Star SPG 1600 dengan kekuatan 3.0 HP berdasarkan dari hasil perhitungan perencanaan diketahui besarnya defleksi yang disebabkan oleh gaya punter yang terjadi sebesar 0,09° yang artinya poros mengalami defleksi karena beban puntir sebesar 0,09°. Poros engkol tersebut menerima momen lentur gabungan 2787,8 kg mm, sehingga faktor keamanan yang dipilih senilai 6,0 berdasarkan tabel, dan tegangan puntir 4.58 Kg/mm, sehingga menghasilkan faktor keamanan senilai 2,0. Faktor keamanan yang didapatkan lebih dari satu, sehingga aman untuk digunakan. Hasil analisa tersebut dianalisa kembali dengan mencari ukuran diameter ideal, sebesar ø16,7mm, dengan bahan material S30C.

Abstract

In Our life, we always life with any tools and technology for improve our life. We can find many tools and other technolgy are made from metal. Of course, we need metals which have a characteristic for improve that inquiry, for example in terms of hardness in metal. Metal hardness can be increased in several ways. One of them is the hardening process. This process is a process of heat treatment of metal by heating and then cooling it to a certain temperature. In the traditional market, a lot of shredded coconut water is not used and can be used as a cooling medium in the hardening process. Therefore, the author will use the results of this wate shredded coconut water as a cooling medium for the hardening process.  Researchers  examined  the  effect  of  variations in heat  treatment  process  cooling media  on mechanical properties and microstructure with three variations of coolant. temperature 865 ⁰C for hardening process and 465 C for tempering process. research activities include hardness and micro structure testing. The results showed that the hardening process salt water cooling medium had the highest hardness value of 275.6Hv while the lowest hardness was  obtained in the coconut water cooling medium  which had carried out the tempering process with a hardness of 219.3Hv. This is influenced by SOQ (Severity Of Quenching) or what is called the ability of the cooling media, for salt water the value is 5.0 for SOQ and for coconut water below 2.055. Meanwhile, for the microstructure, it can be seen that the hardening process brine cooling medium has a finer structure than the other cooling specimens. Meanwhile, in the tempering process, martensite turned into finer ferrite cementite with a hardness of 269.3Hv

Abstract

The shaft is one component of a motorcycle that is no less important than other components. These components function to support the load of the vehicle itself as well as external loads such as humans or cargo on a motorcycle. This study aims to determine the working stress and also the safety factor on the shaft. The component that will be discussed is the front axle of the Supra X 125 Helm In motorcycle. The method used is an experimental method with qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the analysis show that if a load of 70 kg is given, then the value of the working stress is 230.45 N/mm2, while the safety factor is 1.488

Abstract

With the application of the EOQ and JIT methods, PT. XYZ can find out the right time and quantity of inventory orders and can be determined by safety stock to overcome the uncertainty of customer demand in accordance with the calculation results of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Just In Time (JIT) methods. Comparative research is used by researchers to compare inventory methods according to PT. XYZ with EOQ method and JIT method in efficiency of inventory costs and inventory optimization. The optimal quantity of raw material purchases on the EOQ method for Lever A, Lever B, Bolt, Joint, Base Ratchet, Ratchet Plate, Rod Release Assy, Equalizer, Spring Rod, Equalizer Pin, and Nut, Adjust is 10,421 on each raw material. As for the raw material, the Pawl is 22,162 and for PCV Compound it is 2,665 kg The total cost of the EOQ method on PT. XYZ of Rp. 33,571,768. The minimum inventory of just in time method of Lever A and Base Ratchet raw materials is 20,842 pcs, for Lever B, Bolt, Joint, Ratchet Plate, Rod Release Assy, Equalizer is 23,302 pcs, for Pawl is 54,285 pcs, PVC Compound is 5,331 kg, Spring Rod, Equalizer Pin, and Nut, Adjust is 27,571 pcs. The total cost of the Just In Time method at PT. XYZ of Rp. 14,766,569

Abstract

Perusahaan selain harus bisa memberi pelayanan yang terbaik terhadap konsumen juga harus mampu meningkatkan kualitas produk yang diproduksinya untuk bisa diterima pasar. Pembuatan benang tidak lepas dari kualitas sebagai sasaran utamanya, dengan pertimbangan tersebut maka dilakukan penelitian dengan cara melakukan pengendalian mutu pada proses pembuatan benang agar mampu menentukan kualitas. Dalam menyelesaikan masalah kekuatan benang tersebut peneliti menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok ( RAK ) yang dianggap dapat menyelesaikan masalah secara optimal.

Abstract

Sampah plastik merupakan permasalahan yang serius di Indonesia. Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup pada tahun 2015 mencatat jumlah peningkatan timbulan sampah mencapai 175.000 ton/hari dan 15%-nya adalah sampah plastik. Berbagai penelitian dilakukan untuk menjadikan sampah plastik menjadi barang yang lebih bermanfaat seperti pembuatan paving block berbahan sampah plastik. Salah satu jenis sampah plastik yaitu HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) diubah menjadi paving block segi enam berukuran 50 x 50 x 20 dengan menggunakan mesin injection molding. Hasil pengujian kuat tekan rata-rata sebesar melebihi standar minimal paving block mutu C yang di peruntukan untuk pejalan kaki yaitu sebesar 220,858 kg/cm2 dari standar kuat tekan 127,460 kg/cm2 (SNI 03-0691-1996).

Abstract

Beam splicing using butt joints is one of the most common forms of connection found in the construction of bridges, towers or other structures. The size of the connection used is adjusted to the ability of the base material, the existing external load and the material of the seam and rivet itself. The number of rivets used must also be adjusted to the load to be supported. If the number of rivets used is too much, it will also cause stress on the connection itself. Due to the complicated combination of the two elements, namely the seam and the diameter of the rivet used, everyone can determine the size at will regardless of the stress propagation on the seam or rivet. In this study, the authors analyzed the effect of the combination of hole diameter and the distance between holes on the strength of the connection at stack connection. Based on the results of research that has been carried out on a double blade seam plate with variations in the thickness of the seam and the diameter of the rivet. The maximum stress that occurs on the seam or rivet is smaller than the stress on the main plate. So the possibility of failure is greater on the main plate. For rivets with a diameter of 12 mm and a seam thickness of 6 mm, the maximum stress that occurs is still below the main plate stress. At the rivet diameter of 16 mm, the stress began to increase sharply on the main plate and the seam. The decrease in the cross- sectional area due to the increase in the diameter of the rivet increases the stress generation. For connection and rivet safety factors, the average is above 7 and the condition is very safe. This safety factor is also greatly influenced by the distance between the holes and the thickness of the seam plate used. The greater the decrease in the normal surface area, the lower the safety factor.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain the results of the Fresh Concrete Production Process at the Batching Plant Machine at PT Prima Beton Nusantara. Concrete production process at PT. The SBU Prima Beton is a production that is quite widely used by other PTs. From the report above, several conclusions can be drawn, namely: 1) The concrete production process using a batching plant machine is the thing that is most widely used by companies that make large amounts of concrete because of its efficiency. which is quite good and fast., 2) The stirring process is one of the main things in the process of making concrete., 3) The production process using the Batcing Plant Machine is enough to affect the quality of the concrete produced.

Abstract

PT. Arezda Purnama Loka was founded in 1983, Arezda is one of the companies engaged in manufacturing. In the production process, sometimes there are often failures, therefore the purpose of this study is to find out the factors that affect the production process of the finned tube production process using a pt finned tube spiral machine. Arezda Purnama Loka. This research uses qualitative research, data collection is carried out using observation methods, interviews, and literature studies, while data processing uses fishbone analysis. From the results of the study, it was found that the type of failure of the production process in the spiral finned tube machine was caused by several factors such as man, material, methode, machine.
