Abstract

Kopi merupakan salah satu komoditi hasil perkebunan yang potensial di Indonesia, saat ini pengolahan kopi telah banyak dilakukan untuk menciptakan kopi olahan dengan aroma dan rasa yang khas melalui proses fermentasi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan harga jual kopi di pasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji sejauh mana rancangan fermentor dengan penerapan fuzzy digital mampu memberikan proses fermentasi sempurna sehingga dapat meningkatkan mutu biji kopi atau kopi bubuk. Metode yang digunakan yakni RAK (Rancang Acak Lengkap) untuk melihat apakah fermentasi dengan menggunakan fermentor dapat meningkatkan mutu. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kinerja fermentor sangat baik, ditandai dengan tidak terjadi overshoot, offset. Pengujian mutu hasil fermentasi biji kopi menunjukkan bahwa pulp mudah lepas, warna biji lebih gelap yaitu notasi L* 31,63, total asam sekitar 20%, dan begitupun dengan pH produk kopi tergolong aman untuk dikonsumsi yaitu pH 6.

Abstract

The drying and fermentation are the processing steps which influence the quality of vanilla. Thus, an effort to produce instrument which can dry and ferment vanilla by turns automatically was done. Based on the test result on the instrument, it was known that the heater and heat-exchanger can function excellently. It can be seen from the increase of temperature after passing heater and heat-exchanger; and the decrease of air humidity in the drying chamber. The small differences of air flow speed between racks proved the uniformity of air flow speed in the drying chamber. The time and temperature control system showed temperature stability on drying process (i.e. 60°C) and on fermentation process (i.e. 40°C); moreover, temperature response reached 60°C and did not exceed the setting time (maximum 30 minutes). The water percentage depletion from 88% to 55% is relatively slow (in 5 days fermentation-drying process). The depletion is appropriate with the recommendation for fermentation-drying vanilla processing.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the use of government policy synergies in improving the competence of graduates of SMK Negeri 6 Palembang which include 1) Cooperation between the Business World and the Industrial World, 2) Development and alignment of curriculum, 3) Learning Innovation, 4) Standardization of Facilities and Infrastructure, 5) Management and Institutional Arrangements, and 6) Increasing the Professionalism of Teachers and Education Personnel through the Vocational High School (SMK) revitalization program which is oriented towards graduate competence so that they can be accepted in the Business and Industrial World. One of the recommendations for SMK Negeri 6 Palembang is to continuously evaluate the needs of the Business and Industrial World (DUDI) related to the competencies needed. And this evaluation can be used as a reference for discussing school quality policies in an effort to increase graduate competence.

Abstract

This article discusses the relationship between the usage of IT-based teaching materials on Islamic education and learning interests with learning outcomes of Student in SMPN 1 Cempa Pinrang. This research was a field research. Refereeing from the type of data, this study included quantitative research. The approach used was the pedagogical approaches. Data were obtained through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, then the data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential method. These results indicated that; perception of students on the use of IT-based teaching materials of PAI was in medium category, while PAI learning interest of students was in the high category. This study showed that the use of IT-based teaching materials of PAI and interests simultaneously can give a positive contribution to the learning outcomes of PAI. The implication of this research is that the use of IT-based teaching materials of PAI will provide a significant contribution in the implementation of the learning process for teachers because of the use of IT-based teaching materials of PAI provides convenience in learning so the impact on the effectiveness of the learning process that can further enhance the learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

The diversity of tourist attractions in the Jatim Park Group is inseparable from entrepreneurial marketing that is applied by companies with the use of mature market research and in order to support Batu City to become an International Destination City. This study illustrates the influence of marketing information systems, service quality and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty. East Java park group with 6 reservoirs is the location of the study with a total sample of 120 people, with characteristics of millennial age samples (aged between 15-34 years). The results of the research show that the marketing information system does not directly influence loyalty but the marketing information system influences loyalty through the marketing information system, as well as the results of service quality which directly or indirectly affect customer loyalty. The entrepreneurial marketing also has a direct or non-slim influence on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction. This shows the existence of tourist attractions is very necessary the existence of product innovation and differentiation as well as informing customers with an updated marketing information system and still continuing to maintain services if visitors are already in the tourist attractions. Abstract

The research aims to know and analyze influence mangement information systems and operational standard procedures in partial and simultan as well as the most dominant variables to performance employees in the empowerment departement of poeople for the village in Majene regency. The population in this research were all of the employee in the empowerment departement of poeople for the village in Majene regency which consisted of 43 people and sample was selected by aturated sampling, so that all of the population takes as sample which consisted of 43 people employees in the empowerment departement of poeople for the village in Majene regency. This research used survey method with regression analysis technique, and the questionnaries as instrument with likert scaled. The result of research indicate that mangement information systems and operational standard procedures in partial and simultan influence positive and significant. And the most dominant variables to influence performance employees is mangement information systems with beta standardized (0,362) >( 0,311).

Abstract

Pengeringan bahan pangan adalah penanganan pascapanen yang sangat penting. Pengeringan adalah proses pengeluaran air atau pemisahan air dalam jumlah yang relatif kecil dari bahan dengan menggunakan energi panas. Hasil dari proses pengeringan adalah bahan kering yang mempunyai kadar air sama dengan kadar air keseimbangan udara (atmosfir) normal atau setara dengan nilai aktivitas air yang aman dari kerusakan mikrobiologis, enzimatis dan kimiawi. Perkembangan ini juga membuat penelitian mengenai karakteristik (fisik dan kimiawi) semakin dinamis. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui model pengeringan lapisan tipis yang paling sesuai dengan karakteristik jagung Hibrida (Bima 17) dan jagung Komposit (Sukmaraga) selama proses pengeringan berlangsung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode uji coba dan melakukan proses pencocokan (Fitting) dengan model Newton, model Hendarson, model Page, model Midilli et.al dan model Two Term. Biji jagung dikeringkan menggunakan alat pengering tipe rak dengan varietas suhu 40°C dan 50°C. Dari hasil penelitian pengeringan lapisan tipis menunjukkan bahwa model Midilli et.al dan model Two Term lebih sesuai dengan model pengeringan biji jagung Hibrida (Bima 17) dan biji jagung Komposit (Sukmaraga) baik pada suhu 40°C dan 50°C hal ini dapat ditunjukkan nilai R2 yang lebih besar atau mendekati 1 dibandingkan dengan model Newton, model Henderson dan model Page.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi pertanian yang semakin maju membawa dampak cukup berarti khususnya pada penggunaan alat dan mesin pertanian. Alat panen padi combine harvester yang digunakan menjadi contoh inovasi-inovasi yang dibuat untuk dapat meningkatkan efesiensi dan efektifitas kerja khususnya pada kegiatan pemanenan, Selain mengefesienkan waktu dan biaya saat panen, alat panen padi ini juga menjadi wadah untuk mengembangkan usaha khususnya pada sektor pertanian dengan menyediakan jasa pemanenan dengan alat panen Combine harvester, hal ini menjadi peluang investasi tersendiri bagi pengusaha yang bergerak di sektor pertanian untuk dapat merauk keuntungan dari usaha tersebut. Tujuan peneletian ini yaitu, dapat mengetehui kapasitas panen dan upah pendapatan pada mesin panen combine harvester serta analisis dari aspek ekonomi alat untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha serta aspek-aspek biaya pengoperasian alat pada lahan. Hasil penelitian menujukkan potensi upah panen alat dalam setiap hektar sebesar Rp 2.231.526, dengan biaya pengoperasian sebesar Rp 519.897/ha dari aspek ekonomi kelayakan alat juga dapat dikatakan layak untuk dijalankan karena dari perhitungan baik NPV, IRR, B/C ratio serta BEP memenuhi syarat untuk suatu investasi atau dikatakan layak untuk dijalankan.

Abstract

Sistem hidroponik merupakan cara produksi tanaman yang sangat efektif. Pada umumnya pemberian nutrisi pada sistem ini tidak menyesuaikan banyak sedikitnya nutrisi yang dibutuhkan dari masa penanaman hingga waktu pemanenan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan alat ukur nutrisi berbasis fuzzy logic yang dapat digunakan pada sistem hidroponik. Pembuatan program fuzzy logic terdiri dari fuzzifikasi, aplikasi fungsi implikasi dan komposisi aturan, serta defuzzifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa sensor memenuhi kriteria yaitu tanggapan waktunya cepat, relatif stabil, pengaruh suhu yang relatif kecil, sensitif, linear dengan nilai R2= 0.996, kesalahan pembacaan yang relatif kecil yaitu 7.75%.

Abstract

The fluidized coffee roaster is one of roasters which designed to overcome the weaknesses of the conventional roasting method. The purpose of this research is to develop a fluidization type roaster with a Fuzzy Logic control system. The specification of the roaster are roasting chamber dimensions of 65 mm (diameter) and 75 mm (height), a roasting capacity of 40 grams with a roasting time of 300 seconds. A heater with a power of 1,200 W was used as the source of heating energy. The research method was carried out by first, developed a control program and applied to the roaster. Then, a test of functionality and performance was conducted by using Robusta coffee for a temperature set point of 190°C, 200°C, and 210°C. The performance test of control responses resulted in 6.25°C (2,97%) error steady state for 15 seconds. However, this value remains below the tolerance threshold of 5%. The test of the color quality of coffee roasted at 190°C produced 3 groups of coffee colors, namely light brown-yellow, light brown-half-city, and light brown-cinnamon. In the case of roasting temperature of 200°C, it produced 3 color groups, i.e. light brown-city, light brown-full city, and light brown-full city+. For a roasting temperature of 210°C, there were two types of colors, namely dark brown-Vienna and dark brown-Italian. It can be concluded that a fluidized coffee roaster with a fuzzy logic control system was able to produce roast coffee compatible to the target roast profile according to the National Coffee Association (2002), namely light, medium, and dark.
