Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Electronic Component Tester as instructional media to the students' learning outcomes in Audio Video Techniques Program SMK N 1 Sumbar on basic competence classify passive and active components in electrical and electronic circuit. The research method used in this research, especially in the design of Electronic Component Tester is Research and Development (R & D) research, which consists of media design, validation, revision, product manufacture, and testing. After the learning media is validated, experimental research will be conducted where the Electronic Component Tester will be used as a learning medium for the students of Audio Video Technique SMKN 1 Sumbar in basic competence to classify passive and active components in electrical and electronic circuits. Prior to treatment, students were given a pre-test to determine initial ability. After being given the use of Electronic Component Tester as a learning medium, a post-test was done to determine the group's ability improvement. Pre-test results obtained an average value of 50.60, while the post-test results obtained an average value of 61.90. Learning outcomes after applied Electronic Component Tester learning media was Increased by 11.31 point. Result of calculation at significant level α = 0,05 got tcount > ttable that is 2,905> 2,056. It can be concluded there is improvement of student learning outcome after using instructional media Electronic Component Tester in basic competence classify passive and active component in circuit electrical and electronics students Audio Video Technique Program in SMK N 1 Sumbar. Abstract

The aim of this research is to design and make stirring tool of corn grits with rotation speed of stirring based on temperature rise level detected by temperature sensor. Arduino Uno as reader of input data from temperature sensor and set output in the form of motor rotation stirrer, LCD display and buzzer. The benefits of this research in the field of application of electronics sensors in food processing, especially the effective and efficient corn grits processing. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui minat belajar dan penguasaan konsep fisika antara peserta didik yang diajar dengan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis masalah dan peserta didik yang diajar dengan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) yang tidak berbasis masalah pada kelas VIII MTs Madani Alauddin Paopao pada materi bunyi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Quasi Eksperimen dan menggunakan desain Non Equivalent Control Group Desain.Instrumen pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa angket dan instrumen tes.Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial yaitu uji “t” Independent. Hasil penelitian untuk minat belajar pada kelas VIIIA yang diberikan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Berbasis masalah berada pada kategori sangat baik dan kelas VIIIB yang diberikan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) yang tidak Berbasis masalah  berada pada kategori baik. Dengan demikian terdapat perbedaan minat belajar peserta didik yang signifikan antara peserta didik yang diajar dengan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis masalah dan peserta didik yang diajar Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) yang tidak Berbasis masalah pada kelas VIII MTs Madani Alauddin Paopao. Sedangkan untuk penguasaan konsep pada kelas VIIIA yang diberikan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Berbasis masalah memiliki kategori sangat baik dan kelas VIIIB diajar Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) yang tidak Berbasis masalah memiliki kategori baik. Terdapat perbedaan penguasaan konsep peserta didik yang signifikan antara peserta didik yang diajar dengan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis masalah dan peserta didik yang diajar secara  konvesional pada kelas VIII MTs Madani Alauddin Paopao.

Abstract

The pusposes of research to find out learning result using cooperative learning model of type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) with scientific approach learning model of type Problem Based Learning (PBL), specially on Basic electricity and electronics Subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Sumbar. This is probably because in the learning process students are less active and less participate in teaching. This research is a quasi experimental study with pretest-posttest control group design. Experimental I class used cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) and Experimental II class used scientific approach learning model of Problem Based Learning (PBL). The results of study have shown that average of the experimental I class test result is 83,13 while the Experimental II class has provided the average outcome of  78,29. However, this learning shows that there is a significant effect of student’s learning outcome between the usage of cooperative learning model of typeNumbered Heads Together (NHT)rather than scientific approach learning model of type Problem Based Learning (PBL)on Basic electricity and electronics subject. The hypothesis test(t-test) shows that tc> tt( 2.12 > 2.05). Therefore,applying cooperative learning model of type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is more effective than scientific approach learning model of type Problem Based Learning (PBL) .Keywords: Numbered Heads Together, Problem Based Learning, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low average learning outcomes of students on subjects Applying Digital Engineering Basics is under the Minimum Criterion of completeness which has been established SMKN 1 Batipuh is 75. This study aims to determine the effect of application of Team Assisted Individualization model to learning outcomes on subjects Applying Digital Engineering Basics in Audio Video Techniques department at SMKN 1 Batipuh. The type of this research is experimental research with pre experimental design with intact group comparison design. The sample of research is class X TAV 2A as experiment class using Team Assisted Individualization model and class X TAV 2B as control class using direct learning model. Data is collected  from post-test in the experimental class and control class, then analyzed for homogeneity, normality and hypothesis test. From the experimental class results obtained an average value of 80.71, while the control class gets an average value of 75.79. The result of hypothesis calculation at significant level α = 0,05 got tcount> ttable that is 2,442 > 2,056, because big tcount of ttable, null hypothesis (H0) rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted.itCan be concluded mean at the real level, this research shows that, there is work on of student learning result which signifikan between usage of Team Assisted Individualization type with direct learning model on subjects Applying Digital Engineering Basics of student of Audio Video Technique at SMKN 1 Batipuh. Abstract

The purpose of this final project to produce humanoid robot that can perform Gending Sriwijaya dance movement by using speech recognition module. There is an asynchronization between the music accompaniment detection movement of humanoid robot on Gending Sriwijaya dance at Kontes Robot Seni Tari Indonesia 2017. Use of speech recognition moduls input system given the solution of the problem.System requirements were divided into hardware and software included robot acuator components suh as 25 servo motors, robot controllers such as CM-530 and Arduino Mega, EasyVR3 speech recognition module, battery. There three software used to complied humanoid robot. EasyVR Commander software for the detection and synchronization of voice input, Roboplus software for making movements on humanoid robot, Arduino IDE software for programming of humanoid robot movement control system. The design of this humanoid robot system is divided into 3 parts, input of the system is Gending Sriwijaya music which is detected by the speech recognition module, the controlling process of the system is Arduino Mega and CM-530, and the output of the system is the movement of humanoid robot which is formed from the combination of rotation Angle servo motor. The result of this final project is successfully working humanoid robot that can perform Gending Sriwijaya dance movement by using speech recognition module EasyVR3. Furthermore, has successfully worked the program of detection and synchronization of voice, program control system movement of humanoid robot in dance Gending Sriwijaya in the form of movement walkready, sembah buka, cubung bawah, cubung atas, silang, transisi berdiri ke duduk (sembah duduk), borobudur, transisi duduk ke berdiri (sembah diri), ukel benang , sembah tutup, dan jalan. Keywords: humanoid robot, speech recognition, Gending Sriwijaya dance

Abstract

        The problem in this study is the low average learning outcomes of learners on the subjects of Electrical Engineering is under the Learning Completeness (KB) which has been established SMKN 5 Padang is 75. There are 48.15% 1E1, 61.29 1E2 and 65.62% 1E3. This study aims to determine the comparative application of cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share and Problem Based Learning on student learning outcomes on the subjects Electrical Engineering class X Audio Video Technique at SMKN 5 Padang. The type of this research is experimental design with intact grup comparison design. The sample of this research is 1E1 A class as experiment class I using Think Pair Share and class 1E3 B as experiment class II using Problem Based Learning model. Data collection techniques were obtained from post-test in experimental class I and II, than analyzed for homogeneity test, normality test and hypothesis test. This research results the average value of students using cooperative learning model Think Pair Share type (80,27) is higher then using Problem Based Learning model that is (74,13). The result of hypotehesis calculation at significant level α = 0,05, obtained t count > t table that is 2,580> 2,045, because tcount is bigger than ttable, hil n hypothesis (Ho) rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted.  Keywords: Think Pair Share model, Problem Based Learning model, Experimental, Learning Outcomes,  Experiments.

Abstract

Problems in this research The media used in the teaching and learning process still has a shortage of the limited physical component in SMK Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of GNS3 on the results of learning network-based broad-based installation of students of class XI TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang. This type of research is experimental research. class  experimentI is class TKJ A using software simulation GNS3 and class experiment II is TKJ B using sotware simulation packet tracer. Technique of collecting data from post-test value, then analyzed for homogeneity test, normality test and hypothesis test. From the experimental class experimental I result I get the average value 78.77 and experiment II get average value 75,42. The result of hypothesis calculation at significant level α = 0,05 got tcount> ttable (3,574> 1,688), because big tcount of ttable, null hypothesis (H0) rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted. Thus, the hypothesis is accepted that there is a significant comparation to the student learning outcomes using Software GNS3 to the learning outcomes of installation of broad-based network devices on students of class XI TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang. Keywords: learning outcomes, GNS3, Packet Tracer.

Abstract

This research was focus on the low of student’s learning outcome, specially on Basic Electricity and Electronics subject at SMKN 1 Sumatera Barat. The objective is to reveal the comparisons of applying inquiry learning model and problem based learning model to the subject. By using Quasi experimental with simple random sampling; one of probability sampling tecnique, the Inqury model was enducted in experiment class and The Other class where PBL learning model, was also implemented to compare the treatment. The primary data was collected by structured  test (Pre-test and Post-test) according to basic competences described of the subject. based on the t-test result, complying the pre-requisite test such as normalityexamination, this research found that t0≥t ≥ t0 (-2,052 ≥ 2,55  ≥  2,052). However, the result has shown that inquiry learning model is providing better student’s learning outcome than PBL model. Therefore, the inquiry model is more effective than PBL model as research conclusion.Keywords: learning outcomes, learning model, Inquiry, Problem Based Learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the contribution of independence students and lab work are jointly or singly against the results of the study. This research population amounted to 58 people and sample totaling 37 students of class X TKJ in SMK Negeri 1 Sintuak Toboh Gadang. The technique of sampling was done randomly (Simple Random Sampling). Data about student learning result obtained from subjects teachers repair pheriperal grade X TKJ in SMK Negeri 1 Sintuak Toboh Gadang. While data on independence students and lab work are collected through the now presented to student by using Likert scale which have tested the validity and realibility. The results of the analysis of the data shows that (1) independence students and lab work are jointly contribute significantly to student learning outcomes in SMK Negeri 1 Sintuak Toboh Gadang of 43,42%, (2) independence students contributed significantly to the results of the study amounted to 23,61%, (3) lab work contributed significantly to the results of the study at SMK Negeri  1 Sintuak Toboh Gadang of  37,21%.
