Abstract

Forest and land fires are national and international problems. The frequency of fires in one of Indonesia's provinces, Riau, is a significant problem. Knowing where to repair the burn is essential to prevent more massive fires. Fires occur because of a fire triangle, namely fuel, oxygen, and heat. The third factor can be seen through remote sensing. Using the Landsat-8 satellite, named the Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI) variable, Normalized Burn Area (NBR), Normal Difference Humidity Index (NDMI), Normal Difference Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), Soil Adapted Vegetation Index (SAVI), and Soil Surface Temperature (LST). DBSCAN, as a grouping algorithm that can group the data into several groups based on data density. This is used because of the density of existing fire data, according to the character of this algorithm. The selected cluster is the best cluster that uses Silhouette Coefficients, eps, and minutes value extracted from each variable, so there is no noise in the resulting cluster. The result is more than 0, and the highest is the best cluster result. There are 5 clusters formed by clustering, each of which has its members. This cluster is formed enough to represent the real conditions, cluster which has a high LST value or has an NBR value. A high  LST value indicates an increase in the area's temperature; a high NBR value indicates a fire has occurred in the area. The combination of LST and NBR values indicates the area has experienced forest and land fires. This study shows that DBSCAN clustered fire and surface temperature data following data from the Central Statistics Agency of Riau Province. Proven DBSCAN can cluster satellite imagery data in Riau province into several clusters that have a high incidence of land fires.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi berupa internet telah memasuki kehidupan rumah tangga, sekolah, institusi publik, maupun dunia bisnis. Kebutuhan akan adanya teknologi dan informasi telah mengubah pola hidup dan kinerja suatu institusi atau lembaga khususnya lembaga penyedia informasi lowongan kerja atau biasa disebut dengan Bursa Kerja Khusus (BKK). BKK di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) XYZ di Kota Jombang masih menggunakan cara manual dalam memberikan informasi lowongan kerja ke calon lulusan atau ke alumni. Informasi lowongan kerja dibagikan dengan sebuah link yang didistribusikan melalui Media Sosial Whatsapp. Link tersebut mengarah ke google form yang mengharuskan calon kandidat untuk mengisi data-data lamaran. Calon kandidat mengalami proses yang redundant dalam pengisian data lamaran misalnya profil, riwayat pendidikan, dan pengalaman pelamar. Hal tersebut menjadi tidak efektif baik bagi pelamar dan admin BKK. Dengan demikian dirancang suatu sistem informasi lowongan kerja berbasis web yang dapat menjadi media informasi lowongan kerja untuk calon pelamar. Sebelum sistem diimplementasikan ke sekolah, dilakukan 2 (dua) kali tahap uji coba sistem dengan pengguna. Uji coba yang dilakukan mendapat masukan dari pengguna dan menjadi bahan perbaikan. Selain kegiatan uji coba juga dilakukan kegiatan pelatihan dimana dari kegiatan pelatihan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa admin BKK, calon lulusan dan juga pihak perusahaan dapat menggunakan sistem tersebut dengan baik dan memberikan dampak yang positif untuk sekolah. Admin BKK dan mitra penyedia lowongan kerja dapat dengan mudah menambahkan informasi lowongan yang tersedia, sehingga calon lulusan/pelamar dapat memantau informasi lowongan kerja secara langsung melalui website dan dapat melamar sesuai dengan kualifikasi yang sudah ditetapkan oleh mitra penyedia lowongan.

Abstract

Many companies require good employee performance in order to achieve company goals, business competition is a trigger for companies to improve the performance of their employees. The variables used to determine the effect of the company's employee performance are discipline, compensation, work environment and training. This research was conducted on employees of PT. XYZ involved 60 respondents. This study uses a saturated sampling technique and uses a Likert scale. The analysis used was multiple linear analysis, with the regression equation Y = 16.349 + 0.068X1 + 0.001X2 + 0.159X3 + 0.287X4. The conclusions of this study are, (1) employee performance is not significantly affected by discipline, (2) employee performance is not significantly affected by compensation, (3) employee performance is not significantly affected by the work environment, (4) employee performance is significantly influenced by training, (5) Employee performance is influenced simultaneously by discipline, compensation, work environment and training.

Abstract

Public transportation is one of the important modes of transportation and is the backbone of transportation in Indonesia. The development of public transportation is also supported by the government, this government support is evident in the national policy, namely the National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN). Although public transportation is an effective mode of transportation, it also has obstacles in its development, namely how to meet customer desires in choosing a mode of transportation. There are several variables that are the focus of this research, namely age, gender, income, cost, speed, comfort, safety, efficiency and flexibility. The search for influential variables will use the K-Means and DBSCAN clustering algorithms, these two algorithms are also compared to their performance to find a better algorithm. The results of the Silhouette Coefficient show that DBSCAN has a better performance with a value of 0.99 than K-Means with a value of 0.86. The variables that affect the interest in using public transportation are the most important ones related to cost, speed, comfort, safety, efficiency and flexibility.
