Abstract

Permasalahan yang ditemukan di SMP N 1 Singaraja adalah belum optimal penyerapan materi IPS oleh siswa kelas VIII, pemanfaatan fasilitas wifi dan Facebook di sekolah, sehingga dilakukan penelitian produk media e-learning Facebook. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan: 1) mendeskripsikan desain media e-learning Facebook pada pembelajaran IPS, 2) mengetahui kualitas hasil media e-learning Facebook menurut review ahli, dan uji coba siswa, 3) mengetahui efektivitas media e-learning Facebook pada pembelajaran IPS. Desain e-learning Facebook diproduksi dengan merancang flowchart dan storyboard sebagai dasar merancang produk e-learning Facebok. Validasi e-learning dilakukan oleh satu ahli bidang studi, satu ahli desain pembelajaran, satu ahli media pembelajaran, 3 siswa uji coba perorangan, 12 siswa uji coba kelompok kecil, dan 24 siswa uji coba lapangan. Efektivitas e-learning Facebook dilakukan oleh 24 siswa menggunakan desain penelitian pretest dan posttest. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode kuesioner dan tes dengan instrumen kuesioner dan tes hasil belajar berupa tes objektif. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, kuantitatif dan statistik inferensial/induktif uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) deskripsi desain pengembangan media e-learning Facebook yaitu produk media e-learning Facebook ; 2) kualitas hasil pengembangan media menurut review ahli dan siswa yaitu: a) ahli bidang studi 96%; b) ahli desain pembelajaran 92%; c) ahli media pembelajaran 94% yang semuanya tiga ahli pada kategori sangat baik serta d) uji coba perorangan 90%, uji coba kelompok kecil 91,2%, dan uji coba lapangan 90,5% yang semuanya pada kategori sangat baik; 3) Efektivitas hasil pengembangan e-learning Facebook menunjukkan signifikansi yang diperoleh adalah thitung = 6,810 > ttabel =2,201. Ini berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan e-learning Facebook.Kata Kunci : Pengembangan, E-learning, Facebook, IPS The problem which is found in SMPN 1 Singaraja is the absorption of IPSs material is yet optimal by eighth grade students, the utilization of wifi facilities and Facebook at school, so conducted product research of media e-learning Facebook. This research is a development research which aimed: 1) Describing the media design of e-learning Facebook in social studies, 2) Finding out the result quality of media e-learning Facebook according to expert review, and students trials, 3) Finding out the effectiveness of the media of e-learning Facebook of social studies. The design of e-learning Facebook is produced by designing flowcharts and storyboards as a basis of designing e-learning Facebook product. The validation of e-learning is conducted by an expert of study field, an expert of learning design, an expert of learning media, 3 students individual trials, 12 students in a small group trials, and 24 students field trials. The effectiveness of e-learning Facebook is conducted by 24 students who use pretest and posttest of research design. Data is collected by questionnaire method and test with the questionnaire instrument and also test of learning result in the form of objective tests. Data analysis use qualitative descriptive, quantitative and inferential statistics / inductive t-test. The results of this research are 1) a description of the development media design of e-learning Facebook namely the product of media e-learning Facebook; 2) the result quality of media development according to an expert review and students, namely: a) the expert of study field 96%; b) 92% the expert of learning design; c) the expert of learning media 94% which all of the three experts are in very good category and d) individual trials 90%, small group trials 91.2%, and field trial 90.5% which all are in very good category; 3) The result effectiveness of the development of e-learning Facebook showed a significance which is obtained is t count = 6.810> t table = 2.201.
