Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur sejauh mana perbedaan kemampuan kondisi fisik yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa yang masuk seleksi Bidik Misi/PMDK dengan mahasiswa masuk seleksi SBMPTN, Reguler Mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian quasi ekperimen bersifat deskriptif. Populasi yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa yang diterima pada tahun ajaran 2016/2017 baik masuk lewat jalur bidikmisi/PMDK mapun masuk jalur SBMPTN/SNMPTN. Sementara itu sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik porpusif random sampling. Terdapat hasil bahwa keadaan kondisi fisik mahasiswa dengan jalur masuk Bidik Misi/PMDK dengan SBMPTN/SNMPTN tidak terlalu berbeda, di mana untuk tes push up mahasiswa dengan jalur masuk SBMPTN/SNMPTN lebih baik dari pada mahasiswa dengan jalur masuk Bidik Misi/PMDK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapan tentang ketercapaian Standar Nasional Pendidikan di Kota Bukittinggi. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian Evaluasi Program, dilakukan dengan mendapatkan data primer dari sampel dengan cara pengisian angket dan instrumen. Sampel penelitian adalah seluruh Kepala Sekolah Sekolah Dasar (SD) se Kota Bukittinggi, guru senior dari masing-masing sekolah, serta sebanyak 44 orang siswa kelas enam (VI). Teknik analisis data menggunakan persentase yang dikembangkan oleh Sujana (2007). Hasil yang diperoleh adalah analisis SNP pada Tingkat SD di Kota Bukittinggi termasuk dalam kategori Baik Sekali, 1) Standar Isi Tingkat SD di Kota Bukittinggi Sangat Baik. 2) Hasil diperoleh untuk standar proses Sangat Baik, 3) Hasil standar kelulusan siswa Baik, namun ada 2 SD kategori sedang, 4) Skor rata-rata yang diperoleh pada standar PTK termasuk kategori Baik Sekali, 5) hasil temuan tentang standar sarana dan prasarana pendidikan di kota Bukittinggi khususnya pada tingkat Sekolah Dasar dalam kategori baik, 6) Standar bidang pengelolaan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, 7) standar pembiayaan telah mencukupi/dipenuhi oleh pemerintah Kota Bukittinggi, 8) Standar Penilaian untuk sekolah Tingkat Pendidikan Dasar di Kota Bukittinggi termasuk berhasil.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya prestasi yang diraih oleh pemain bolavoli putra SMA 2 Pariaman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan tentang gambaran kondisi fisik yang dimiliki pemain bolavoli putra SMA 2 Pariaman. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pemain bolavoli putra SMA 2 Pariaman berjumlah 14 orang yang terdaftar pada kegiatan Eksrtrakulikuler di sekolah. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik sample jenuh, jadi jumlah sampel sebanyak 14 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur daya ledak otot tungkai dengan vertical jump test, daya ledak otot lengan diukur dengan one hand medicine ball putt, dan daya tahan digunakan dengan VO2max yaitu bleep test. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus distribusi frekuensi dalam bentuk persentase X 100 %.Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh hasil penelitian sebagai berikut (1) daya ledak otot tungkai diperoleh nilai rata-rata 91,40 k4 m/sec meter dikategorikan cukup; (2) daya ledak otot lengan diperoleh nilai rata-rata 8,68 meter dikategorikan cukup; (3) daya tahan diperoleh nilai rata-rata 40,26 dengan kategori cukup.

Abstract

This studied aims to know whether there was any significant effect ability of understanding mathematical concepts between students using cooperative learning model of Group Investigation (GI) type with students using conventional learning or not in SMP Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. This research was a quasi-experiment; the researcher played a direct role as a teacher in the learning process. Subjects in this study were the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pekanbaru, amounting to 66 and the object of this study was an ability of understanding mathematical concepts. Methods used to collect the data of this study were observation, documentation, and testing. In this study, the class meetings were held for six times, one meeting was for a pre test, in which four times of the meeting was carried out with Cooperative Learning model of Group Investigation (GI) type and one meeting was for a post test. The data collected were analyzed using a t test. Based on the analysis of data, it is shown that there are differences in the ability of understanding mathematical concepts between students using cooperative learning model of Group Investigation (GI) type and students using conventional learning in SMP Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. It can be seen from the comparison of to and tt. At the level of 5%, it was indicated that to is more than tt (3.34 > 2.02). Thus it can be concluded that there were significant effect between students using cooperative learning model of Group Investigation (GI) type with students using conventional learning.

Abstract

In this research, the writer used an action research. For collecting the data, the writer used test and observation. The data sources were the 4th grade SD Negeri 07 Padang which consists of 17 students and a Teacher as the observer. Cycle I consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. Cycle II added by the revision of cycle I. Based on the results of the research, The success in this research has increased from cycle to cycle. Where the results of the lesson plan of cycle I with an average of 82% (good), in the second cycle with an average value of 85% (very good), from the teacher aspect in the first cycle with an average value of 85% (very good), in the second cycle with the average value of 93% (very good), while in the aspect of the first cycle students with an average value of 63% (enough), in the second cycle with an average value of 93% (very good). The learning outcomes in this cycle indicate that the average value is 65% (enough), increasing in the second cycle with an average value of 82% (Good). Thus, the hypothesis in this research is acceptable. It means, there is a significant improving in using SQ3R to increase the students’ reading comprehension in SD Negeri 07 Padang. The study of conducting action research is invaluable and inspiring experience that gives the researcher new knowledge. It is hoped that action research can be implemented by other researchers to achieve a better teaching and learning process

Abstract

This study aims to identify and understand the types of traditional instrument from West Sumatra. The method used in this study uses a library method or approach (library research). Data obtained through observation and literature study. The results showed that the traditional instruments of West Sumatra are Talempong, Saluang, Pupuik Batang Padi, serunai, tambua and tansa. Minangkabau traditional musical instruments have various types and forms that usually used on certain occasions. The uniqueness of Minangkabau musical instruments can be seen from how to play it The people of West Sumatra still maintains traditional music because it is considered to function as a medium for non-formal education and cultural identity for the people of West Sumatra

Abstract

This study aims to identify and understand the effect of repeat training methods on increasing passing results parts in football. The type of research is experimental, with the design of this study using a quasi experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population was the students of SMA Unggul Dharmasraya West Sumatra. Data collection was done by conducting pre-test and post-test passing accuracy of the students. Based on the results of calculations that have been carried out, a significant value of 2.01 1,000 is obtained. Thus, the hypothesis states that there is a significant difference in the effect of repetition training on improving the inner foot passing of football of SMA Unggul Dharmasraya West Sumatra, which is acceptable.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and understand the computer based technology and classroom assessment. Computers can also help provide students with greater access to test items, maintain records, and explore data . The method used in this study uses a library method or approach (library research). Data obtained through observation and literature study. The results showed that The five ways in which computers can assist teachers with formative assessment during instruction. These uses include diagnosing students’ misconceptions, polling the class about their knowledge, recording students’ writing process, providing formative feedback on student products, and observing students as they work on assignments diagnosing.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and understand the types of traditional instrument from West Sumatra. The method used in this study uses a library method or approach (library research). The results showed that the historical of evaluation program called Age of Reform in 1900; the second, from 1900 until 1930, we call the Age of Efficiency and Testing; the third, from 1930 to 1945, may be called the Tylerian Age; the fourth, from 1946 to about 1957, it called the Age of Innocence; the fifth, from 1958 to 1972, is the Age of Development; the sixth, from 1973 to 1983, the Age of Professionalization; and finally the seventh from 1983 to 2000 the Age of Expansion and Integration. The philosophical foundations of evaluation and assessment include ontological, epistemological, and axiological studies. The general philosophy that forms the basis of the assessment includes idealism, realism, pragmatism, and existentialism. Meanwhile, the schools of Philosophy of Education that underlie the assessment are perennialism, essentialism, progressivism, and reconstructivism.

Abstract

The present study has been conducted to identify and understand the component of the lesson plan on classroom management. The method used in this study uses a library method or approach (library research). Data obtained through observation and literature study. The results showed that the lesson plan as a well-organized planning of a lesson for estimating or projecting what will be done with the students in learning during classroom activities. The lesson plan must consist of ten components. These components of a lesson plan are: identity of school class, identity of the lesson, core competence, basic competences and indicators of competent achievement, objectives, materials, methods of teaching, media and resources, teaching activities and assessments. Planning  lessons  and  setting  goals  from  the  begging  would  help  the  students  to  gather  their  thoughts  about  the lesson  before class. So, the teacher should know how to manage the classroom. The classroom management is the relation between the teacher’s ability and student’s behavior to establish an appropriate classroom learning and teaching.
