Abstract

The pump is a machine used to raise the liquid from the surface of the low to the higher, or move the fluidfrom the high pressure. Plan and create a means of centrifugal pumps for water flow to the arrangement / circuitParallel to the needs of fluid mechanics lab in August 17, 1945 the University of Surabaya. Step experiment with agate valve openings 900, 700, 500, 350, with a maximum rotation 2580 RPM pump, get the planning andcharacteristics (Head, Capacity) of the two pumps are arranged in parallel. The influence of the suction pipediameter variations on these tests affect the capacity (Q). The larger the diameter of the suction pipe is used, thegreater the capacity of the water produced. Abstract

Pelton turbine is one of the impulse turbines, wherein the turbine is able to transform the water potentialenergy into kinetic energy by using a nozzle. The water that comes out of the nozzle with high speed at atmosphericpressure hit the bucket which consists of two symmetrical parts. After hit the bucket, the direction of the flowvelocity change resulting in a change of momentum (impulse), consequently rotating turbine wheel generatesmechanical energy. As well as pelton turbine models in laboratory fluid which has been studied by R. HartonoTeguh in his finally task in 2006 on Experimental studies Determining Characteristics of Model Redesign Peltonturbine in Lab. Fluid. Assess experimental this time aimed at the development which also examines the peltonturbine models to determine the effect of variations in the diameter of the nozzle and the angle of the bucket waste ofthe generated power and efficiency. Variation used is the diameter of the nozzle 6 and 9 mm with exhaust bucketangle 145o, 165o, and 175o. Pelton turbine models that were tested using a single nozzle, with a number of buckets22 pieces, as well as using a runner diameter of 150 mm. Dimensional bucket used has several main dimensions,namely the width of the bucket 36 mm, bucket length 27 mm, bucket depth of 8.10 mm, bucket gap width of 10.8 mm,and the distance of the center beam bucket Valentine of 13.5 mm. From the data obtained by tests performed powerand the largest turbine efficiency at variation of 6 mm diameter nozzle at an angle of 175o bucket exhaust i.e. 38.76Watts with an efficiency of 82.80%. The largest generator power can be achieved in the variation of 6 mm diameternozzle at an angle of 175o bucket exhaust i.e. 10.4 Watt, while the best efficiency occurs at the nozzle 9 mm diametervariation with angle of 175o exhaust bucket that is 50.61%.Keywords: Pelton Turbine, and Power Efficiency

Abstract

Pelton turbine is one type of impulse turbine, type of water turbine which works to change the available whole energy of water such as pressure, potential, and speed into kinetic energy to rotate turbines. Runner whichconsist of a number of blades is the main component on Pelton turbine when the turbine rotates because the force ofwater at high speed out of nozzle. Impulse reactions occur because the water jets hit the blades causing torque ofturbine shaft causing runner will continue rotates for object hit the blades. Experimental assessment was conductedto investigate effect of nozzle diameter variations as a media to transmit water and runner diameter variations asthe main media for generating mechanical energy in power and efficiency of the Pelton Turbine models in FluidLaboratorium August 17, 1945 University of Surabaya as a prototype model of Micro Hydro Power Plant( MHPP ). Stages of research was done by designing and planning some variation of the nozzle diameter and runnerdiameter with reference using head and flow capacity of available water pump. Specified parameters and variablesused for experimental assessment is single nozzle with diameter 0,006 m and 0,009 m and runner with diameter 0,15m, 0,17 m and 0,19 m. Blades used half cylinder shape with the specifications, width 0,036 m, length 0,027 m, depth0,00081 m, blade gap width 0,001 m, and the distance of center water emmision to blade tip 0,00135 m. From thetest results, variations of nozzle with diameter 0,006 m and runner with diameter 0,15 m produces the largestturbine power 49,53 watt, the best turbine efficiency of 87,97%, and the largest generator power 10,56 watt.Meanwhile, the variation nozzle with diameter of 0,009 m and runner with diameter 0,15 m, generating the bestgenerator efficiency 52.43%. From the characteristics graph of Pelton turbines, found same trend with the theorythat the efficiency of the turbine decreasing after reaching the maximum efficiency speed ratio of 0,46 and higherturbine efficiency directly proportional to turbine power produced.Keyword : Pelton Turbine, Nozzle, Runner, Power, Efficiency

Abstract

Review of experimental effect of variations in the diameter of the nozzle and the amount of bucket on thepower and the efficiency on prototype pelton turbine in the Lab. Fluid. The aim of this study wants to know the effectof variations in the diameter of the nozzle and amount of the bucket to the power and efficiency of the existing peltonturbine prototype in the laboratory Fluid in the Pico-hydro scale. The steps in this research include the study ofliterature and field studies, designing, manufacturing of test equipment, testing, data analysis, and conclusions.Variation is done using nozzle diameter (dn) 6 mm and 9 mm, β2 at 165o, amount of bucket (Z) 12 units, 17 units,and 22 units. For the runner has a large diameter of 150 mm, while for the power plants or generators using spooland magnet on motorcycles. Results of this testing is the largest input power (Pin) at d 6 mm with a value of 46.81watts. The largest turbine power (Pt) and turbine efficiency (ηt) at dnn = 6 mm with Z = 12 unit with value P= 40,34watt and ηt =86,18 watt. The largest generator power (Pgen) at d = 6 mm with Z = 22 unit with value 9,6 watt,meanwhile for the largest generator efficiency (ηgenn) and the largest efficiency system (ηsis) at d= 9 mm with Z = 22unit with value ηgen = 54,24 % and η= 25,82 %.Keywords: Pelton Turbine, Bucket, Nozzle, Power and Efficiency

Abstract

This study is intended to analyze the influence of motivation and leadership on performance through productive behavior of case studies on Civil Servants (PNS) teachers in Kalibaru State Vocational School. The type of data used is primary data, obtained by interviewing and distributing questionnaires to the population of all Civil Servants teachers in the Kalibaru State Vocational School in amount 38 people. By using regression analysis, the results are obtained: (1). Motivation has a positive and significant influence on productive behavior, (2). Leadership has a positive and significant influence on performance, (3). Motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance through productive behavior, (4). Leadership has an influence on the performance of PNS teachers in Kalibaru State Vocational School, and (5). Productive behavior has an influence on the performance of PNS teachers in Kalibaru State Vocational School. From the results of the study it is expected that schools and principals pay more attention to and improve services to PNS teachers in motivating and leading teachers and providing positive behavior so that PNS teachers can work well, responsibly, comfortably and are able to improve school goals in accordance with the school's vision and mission

Abstract

Jalan Sei Durian?-?Rasau Jaya merupakan salah satu jalan provinsi yang mempunyaifungsi sebagai penghubung antara Kabupaten Kubu Raya dengan kabupaten-kabupatenlainnya. Jalan ini memegang peranan penting dalam memacu pertumbuhan ekonomi. Penelitianbertujuan untuk mengevaluasi jenis kerusakan, mengidentifikasi tingkat kerusakanjalan dan memberikan alternatif perbaikan kerusakan jalan. Tempat penelitianpada ruas jalan Sei Durian?-?RasauJaya dengan panjang jalan 3 km, jenis perkerasan kaku (rigid pavement),memiliki satu jalur lebar jalan 5 m. Metode penelitian Bina Marga. Jeniskerusakan yang terjadi terdiri dari 10 jenis, yaitu retak memanjang (200,8 m2),retak melintang (65,76 m2), punch-out (92,75 m2), lubang(84 m2), retak berkelok-kelok (19,25 m2), retak diagonal(15,62 m2), penurunan (20 m2), retak bersilang pelat pecah(3 m2), retak sudut (1,45 m2), dan gompal (0,135 m2).Total kerusakan seluas 502,765 m2 atau 3,35% dari luas total 15000 m2.Kerusakan paling dominan adalah retak memanjang 39,94%, punch-out 18,45%,lubang 16,71% dari total luas kerusakan. Perbaikan kerusakan dengan memperbaikispot-spot kerusakan pada stasiun tertentu dan bersifat pemeliharaanjalan rutin atau dengan cara rehabilitasi (peningkatan mutu dan kualitasjalan).Kata-kata kunci: evaluasikerusakan, perkerasan rigid,metode binamarga
