Abstract

The pupuse of this research is to improve teacher competency in designing learning with a scientific approach though the implementation of in House Training (IHT) activities in SD Negeri 2 Balng Nisam Semester II in the 2017-2018 academic year. In addition, this study also aims to describe the teacher?s understanding of the scientific approach. This research aschool action research by taking as many as 7 research subjects. The research was carriedout in two cycles of cycles and each consisted of 4 stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The astablished performance indicators ate that if a minimum of 85% of teachers is classified as capable and good in designing learning with scientific approach, then it can be said that the actions implemented are successful.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI  terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi operasi himpunan di kelas VII MTs Darul Amin Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian Control Group Only Posttest Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIA sebagai kelas kontrol dan VIIB sebagai kelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan uji t menggunakan program SPSS 18.0 for windows diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.00 <  0.05, yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang dikelola dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dan hasil belajar siswa yang dikelola dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan  perhitungan Effect Size, diperoleh nilai effect size sebesar 2.127 yang artinya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI memberikan kontribusi tinggi terhadap hasil belajar  siswa. Kata kunci: Pengaruh, hasil belajar, Kooperatif, TAI   This research aims to know the influence of TAI cooperative learning model towards the students learning outcomes in the material set oprations in class VII MTs Darul Amin Pontianak. The method used is Quasi Experimental Design with research design Control Group Only Posttest Design. The sample in this research is students of VIIA as a control class and VIIB as a experiment class. Based on t-test using SPSS 18.0 for Windows obtained the Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.00 < α = 0.05 which means that there are significant differences between the results of students who manageged a TAI cooperative learning model and results of students who manageged a learning using conventional model. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis: (1) Perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik antara siswa yang diberi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan problem based learning (PBL) dan pembelajaran langsung, (2) Perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik dikaji dari motivasi belajar, (3) Interksi antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar, (4) Pengaruh pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model PBL. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan factorial design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 7 Pontianak dengan sampel penelitian yaitu VIIIF dan VIIIC. Analisis yang digunakan adalah anava dua jalan. Hasil analisis  menunjukan: (1) kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa yang diberi pengajaran dengan model PBL lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajran Langsung; (2) kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan motivasi belajar tinggi lebih baik daripada siswa dengan motivasi belajar rendah; (3) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar; (4) Pengguruh model PBL terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik tergolong tinggi dengan nilai effect size 0,837.   Kata Kunci: Problem Based Learning, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik, motivasi belajar matematika Abstract: This research have purpose to know and analysis about (1) differences the ability of students to solve the problem of mathematic use Problem based learning  (PBL) and direct instruction, (2) Differences the ability of students to solve the problem of math looked from student motivation in math, (3) The interaction between learning method and learning motivation, (4) the influence of learning process by using PBL.  The method used in this research is experimental with factorial design. The population in this research are students in grade VIII MPN 7 Pontianak. The sample is students in grade VIIIF and VIIIC. The analysis used two way anova. The result shows: (1) the ability of students to solve the math problem with PBL model is high rather than students studying by used direct instruction; (2) The ability of students to solve the problem with high motivation is good rather than students with low motivation; (3) there are interaction between learning method and learning motivation; (4) The influence of PBL model to solve problem mathematics is high with score effect size 0,837.
