Abstract

This research is aimed to analyze: (1) lesson plan design (RPP) of Group Investigation Model, (2) implementing of Group Investigation Model; (3) evaluation system of Group Investigation Model of learning; (4) increasing student achievement using Group Investigation Model. The method of the research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) through three cycles. The result of the research could be concluded as (1) lesson plan design (RPP) using Group Investigation Model including making group, delivering, accessing, completing materials, discussion and presentation, reorganizing, classroom discussion and presentation and evaluating, (2) implementation of Group Investigation Model can develop student activities. The student activities of XI Science 1 in the first cycle is 77.16%, in the second cycle is 82.83% and in the third cycle is 90.19%, Class XI Science-2 in the first cycle is 77.16%, in the second is 82.00%, and in the third is 88.34%, (3) the student achievement is increasing. In XI Science-1, the students got minimum mastery criteria (KKM) in the first cycle were 14 (46.67%), in second were 19 (63.33%) and in the third were 23 (76.67%).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) desain RPP, (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran, (3) sistem evaluasi, (4) peningkatan prestasi belajar Biologi menggunakan Model Investigasi Kelompok. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan tiga siklus.  Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: (1) desain RPP dengan Model Investigasi Kelompok meliputi pembagian kelompok, materi, mengakses, melengkapi materi, diskusi dan presentasi, pengemasan ulang, evaluasi, (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran Model Investigasi Kelompok dapat meningkatkan aktivitas anggota kelompok,  (3) system evaluasi postes dan formatif (4) prestasi belajar siswa meningkat. Pada kelas XI IPA1, jumlah siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM siklus 1 14 (46,67%), siklus II 19 (63,33%) siklus III 23 (76,67).Kata kunci: aktivitas, investigasi kelompok, prestasi belajar.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to find out the effect of active learning on the improvement of students’ activity and their achievement. The design was non-equivalence pre-test post test design. The research sample were students of class VIIA and VIIC that was selected purposive sampling. The quantitative data were the average score test, that was analyzed by t-test. The qualitative data was gotten by students activity that was analyzed descriptively. Result of students’ activity in experimental class with 76,40 good criteria. The result of N-gain in experimental class was higher with 52.80. In line with this, the use of active learning has effect on the improvement of students’ activity.Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh Active Learning terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian adalah pretes, postes tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIC, dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai tes yang dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari aktivitas belajar siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Nilai rata-rata aktivitas belajar kelas eksperimen (76,40) dengan kriteria baik. Hasil rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi (52,80). Dengan demikian, penggunaan Active Learningberpengaruh terhadap aktivtitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci: Active Learning, Aktivitas Belajar, Hasil Belajar, Pengelolaan Lingkungan

Abstract

This research aimed to know the profile of students’ ability to make hypotheses through guided inquiry learning model in the subject matter the characteristic of living things . The research design used was a descriptive with proposive sampling and that ware  class VII G and VII H. This research data in the form of qualitative data is a description of students ability to make hypotheses from observation sheet students assessment, and student worksheet. Results showed that  0.00 %  have  good category , 0.29 %  have medium category, 0.30 % have  less category and  0.36% have bad category. It could be concluded that only students who have the ability to make categorized less or bad.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam membuat hipotesis melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing materi pokok ciri-ciri makhluk hidup. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif  dengan purposive sampling sehingga kelas VIIG dan VII H  sebagai sampel. Data penelitian ini berupa  data  kualitatif  yaitu deskripsi kemampuan siswa  dalam membuat hipotesis yang diperoleh dari  lembar  observasi penilaian siswa, dan Lembar Kerja Siswa. Hasil penelitian bahwa 0,00 % berkategori baik,  0,29%  berkategori sedang, 0,30% berkategori kurang dan 0,36% berkategori buruk. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hanya siswa memiliki kemampuan membuat hipotesis berkategori kurang atau buruk.Kata kunci : ciri-ciri makhluk hidup, hipotesis, kemampuan siswa, model inkuiri terbimbingÂ
